“Was looking to treat myself for breakfast. Since I wanted to do some shopping in the Aston area, I decided to give this place a try. (First thing to note, GPS directions were incorrect! Kept telling me to turn left at intersection, but it's actually on the right) Once inside, I was seated right away. Counter was empty seating. I ordered bacon, scrambled eggs, grits, toast and coffee. Coffee was drinkable. (Would give it another try before saying I don't like it) toast was prepared perfectly and they put butter on it for you. Eggs and bacon were great and you get 4pcs. Grits were another story. They were too runny. Restaurants need to know if you are going to sell grits please take the time to properly prepare them or remove it from your menu altogether. Nothing worse than grits being cooked inconsistently. A customer next to me ordered hash brown potatoes and they were burnt on the outside and not cooked in inside. He asked for another serving and when it was brought back out, there was no difference. Waitress said, "I guess they are just not going to properly cook these no matter what." Atmosphere was friendly and not loud. I would definitely go again as they serve more than breakfast items. Perhaps breakfast food may not be their strong suit OR the cooks were just having an off day. I would also like to mention my waitress Stacey(Stacy) was a gem. Very friendly and attentive.Bon ApetiteWheelchair accessibility: I believe their is a ramp at the front entrance“
“Ryans has been our deli for over 15yrs so far back when they were up at 5 points. As always the staff were " unique " and friendly banter back and forth makes life fun. The products purchased were of a high quality and competively priced.“
“Definitely recommend this bar! As soon as I walk in sundance Cora greets me by name and always remembers what I want to drink. She is so friendly and I was instantly able to build a positive relationship with her as my bartender! My friends and I love coming here solely because Cora makes the bar such a fun, lively and positive atmosphere.“
“Great sandwiches, and tacos. Had to get some empanadas too. My kid is a vegetarian so she got a burrito bowl with fried cauliflower. We been eating here since they first opened. They prepare all the meats from scratch. And they make their own lemonades 10 out of 10.The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have food trucks too, so we follow that for special events“
“My experience was amazing, my boyfriend & I went to get out of the house from the crazy rain! I have to say as soon as I walked in the hosts were all friendly at the door all the way walking to the table, which was clean & not too cold or not too hot, (U know how MOST restaurants are freezing but I always bring a cardigan) my server, Jess was so sweet, & attentive. I also was checked in on by multiple other staff members including the hosts, the manager Jessica, and Seth another server who brought our food! The all you can eat boneless wings I got to try multiple flavors & the $5 promo drinks were tasty!! I def recommend this location and we went on a busy Sat night but didn’t have to wait for anything for too long! Thanks & see you soon! Oh and get the chocolate meltdown for dessert!!!! “TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.“
“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.“
“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“
“We absolutely loved every morsel and our server was top notch! First time we ever tried the beef skewers and the wedge salad was one of the best we've ever had. Our entrées were spectacular as well. And then our espresso martinis were a great way to end the evening. Thank you!!!“
“We took visiting family to dine here. They enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the drinks were top shelf. But be prepared for a timely visit. Getting food to the table took awhile even though it wasn't crowded the night we went. So really good food, nice place but do it when you have time.“
“An excellent steakhouse that you can count on to get your order right and your steak cooked perfect every time. A staple in my restaurant rotationParking: Can be tough to get a spot on a busy night. Might have to park at the hotel or bankWheelchair accessibility: All 1fl with wide walkways and ramps in interior areas to navigate easily.“
“Metro never disappoints! I’ve never not had a good meal, the service is always excellent, and the environment is clean. They also have the best ranch in town! Haha. Great place, great staff, I love it! Sarah provides excellent service, be sure to ask for her!“
“Great food complemented by even better service! Our server, Erinn, went above and beyond to give us a pleasurable experience. My son has several food allergies and Erinn went out of her way to ensure all of our meals were handled with attention and care. She provided service that is difficult to find elsewhere- we will be returning for her!“
“Back in 2013, Kid Shelleen’s Charcoal House and Saloon in Wilmington’s Trolley Square was one of my favorite spots to rotate in and out of my afternoon or evening eateries whenever I was in Delaware. As a regular at Kid Shelleen's, I can't recommend it enough! The staff is like family - always friendly and welcoming.Their build your own charbroiled burgers are the absolute best, perfectly cooked and juicy - you won't find anything like them elsewhere. They also have great happy hour specials on drinks, and jumbo wings where a favorite as well. There's a real sense of community with the friendly regulars. It's a fantastic place for a delicious meal and a fun atmosphere!“
“I've read plenty of great reviews and I have friends who tell me about the wings.. I have to say that the wings are the best that are out there ! They are twice the size of any other wings that I've eaten.. even if you bought them at the market and made them yourself. Even the blue cheese was thick and tasty. The chicken cheesesteak was good..a little salty but good . In all fairness I'm a beef guy .“
“On my way to the airport and stopped here for a quick breakfast before my flight and long day. I hear that this is the best in town. I also hear that everything is really good. We'll, we'll see.The menu is full of great choices. One caught my eye. Chip beef. I haven't had that in a long time. I thought I'd take a chance. I also ordered some eggs over med. Everything is made fresh. The dish came out pretty quick. The presentation was nice. The flavor of everything was really good, just as the guys next to me said. Seemed like everybody was a regular. This will be my go-to when in town and before flights. The service was good. The prices were nice. The place is old but clean. The ladies who were serving and cooking and prepping were all very nice.Yea, I recommend.“
“My husband & I came here for the first to celebrate our anniversary and his 30th Birthday. We were absolutely blown away with the service and delicious food! Karen was our server, she was so pleasant and attentive with questions we had. My husband ordered the NY Strip w| Crab Cake & he throughly enjoyed it! I ordered the Salmon, substituted the salad for Garlic Potatoes and they were so yummy! & we also both ordered dessert. It’s affordable for the amazing quality that you get. We will definitely be back!“
“What a perfect evening/dinner. The presentation and flavors of the smoked trout and asparagus appetizer were phenomenal. The Rockfish was perfect. I never order dessert but will here based on last 2 visits. Pastry chef is a godsend. Tasted my friend’s sorbet and OMG!“
“I traveled from Atlanta to Union Steaks, and it was worth it! Perfectly located by the Philadelphia United arena, the cheese steaks are among the best in the area. Soft bread, fresh peppers, and onions made every bite delightful. Bonus: the entire menu is Halal! The staff is friendly, and their cheese steak nachos are a must-try. Can't wait to try more next time I'm in town.Dietary restrictions: 100% Halal“
“Wow! We should have gone to Oath 84 sooner, because it's awesome. Super friendly staff, fantastic warm atmosphere, and a menu of creative, elevated dishes. We especially loved the beet salad and the buffalo chicken dip. We will definitely be back soon, and we love that they're just a block from Huxley & Hiro bookstore :) So happy to have Oath 84 in our community. Open late as well, even on a Wednesday!“
“It’s a unique establishment with a lot of variety on the menu, and, no matter which creation you try, the taste is Epic!! The owner takes pride in running the business and the food you get here cannot be matched by some chain restaurant. I love it so much.“
“Sweet spot! Indoor, outdoor, bier hall, bar scene, lawn games, and live music. This place has it all! Stop by with your family or your mates for relaxed fun in a bucolic setting. One of the best beer lists in the greater Philly area. Cheers ? Prost ?“
“Everything was amazing! We came to watch the game and brought the kids with us, we ordered a bunch of appetizers and everything was so good! Our server so sweet & attentive and she was also running the bar. This place is 10/10 highly recommend!“
“They are a very beautiful family own place. They are of the Muslim faith, but very well versed and educated in all faiths and manners of life. The best part of the wings! Spicy garlic parmesan is one of my favorites but they have a lot of sauces and other foods to like wraps and platters you would have to just look up the menu. They also have a seafood place and they just open next door I'm not sure the name of it but from what people say it's just as good and you can see the miriam, Samuel, or Islam. Their mother I just called Mama. Every time I go in there it's an interesting conversation had and if you are Muslim say a prayer being played on the TV with the translation from Arabic to English“
“Hungry and seeking a local joint, I came across Meghan’s, what looks like a converted and now infamous breakfast spot. With the fading sign Street side and the smaller lot full of cars, I had a good feeling. There were about 30 chairs at tables and a few barstools. I immediately asked if they had Wi-Fi because I needed to tap on to do a little work on the laptop. I was advised apologetically there’s no Wi-Fi and that they are old-school. If I were them, I would tell the customer to just sit down and enjoy your breakfast and disconnect for a spell. However, I had a time sensitive so took the only open table at a two top in the back corner right next to the window overlooking masonry patio. Just then the waitress, smiling, bubbly and welcoming as you’re going to find, pegged me for a coffee drinker. She was right and I ordered my first coffee along with a basic eggs, home fries, meat, and toast breakfast. The meat and the toast are the two most important aspects of this meal for me, so I always ask which of their meats they recommend the most, and that my go to is pork roll cooked well done. Under advisement that their pork roll was the best around, I went with it along with rye toast. Food came out so quickly. I had barely set my laptop up, so I dug right in. I think it may be the first time that I didn’t take photos of the food. A combination of being famished and a near perfect thick cut pork roll, I got right to business. And before I realized I hadn’t taken my pre-meal photo, all that was left was a piece of toast. The interior decor was neutral with beige ceramic tile floors, and a beige painted upper wall with white wainscoting on the lower portion. The surrounding was alive with everyone chattering. It’s comforting and feels good to be in a place where so many patrons come in and hug the waitresses a friendly hello like old friends visiting after a long time apart. Not wanting to disappoint the audience, I ordered a single blueberry pancake, so I could get at least one photo. The thing was blue and wasn’t the best pancake I’ve had, but the consistency was interesting. I slathered it up with real butter and store-bought maple syrup. Eggs were cooked well. Pork roll blew my hair back. Really delicious melt in your mouth. Home fries were decent but would’ve liked to see some peppers and onions in there. Toast was delicious and already buttered up. I placed my credit card on top of the handwritten check and the waitress advised once again that they are old-school and only accept cash, further explaining that they had an ATM machine if necessary. No problem. Overall, I recommend Meghan’s for a nice quick breakfast and happy uplifting of the soul. And take it as an opportunity to leave your technology, gadgets, and highfalutin expectations in the car. This place is old-school.“
“We love Tank and Libby's! It is a must go-to spot in Drexel Hill. Today, I got chicken and waffle with scrambled eggs. In the past, I've gotten omelets, french toast, burgers, and chicken sandwiches. They are good food, good service, good prices.Parking: Lots of parking.“
“Already familiar with the Springfield location and happened to be in the West Chester area and figured we'd stop in.Dining room was empty for a Thursday afternoon but that's fine with us .Ordered 2 combos with gravy fries. As usual, it was excellent. Our waitress was prompt and professional.Always a good experience at Nick's.“
“This past September my fiancé and I decided to finally head over to this cute quaint cafe around the corner from our new home. We hear the live music often, and see people having a great time and decided to give it a go for my 35th birthday. Food was great, band was playing decent music, it did not disappoint. The only issue was our server wasn’t as attentive as they could have been. Not sure if they thought we weren’t going to spend much or tip well or what. We would have stayed longer had the service been a little better. Overall nice atmosphere, seasonal fresh menu, live music. It was a nice birthday dinner. Only giving 4 stars as I felt we wouldn’t have had to flag down their not busy server for a drink or anything else we needed. This is also why we haven’t back as it made us feel very out of place. I hope to check out their current menu soon though and reporting back. I work in the service industry and not every day am I 100%. So I’ll give it another go. ?“
“We dined outside in a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The service and food were excellent. We enjoyed delicious coffee and a wonderful breakfast, freshly prepared and pleasantly served. We will be visiting again very soon.Vegetarian options: Fresh avocado and delicious gluten free toastDietary restrictions: Gluten free bread was an added surpriseParking: Parking very easy“
“Amazing all the way around. Great service, amazing food, and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted. As you walk in, it can be a little disorienting with so much going on but as you begin to take it in you see how important the local hero’s are. These guys care about the men and women who serve our country. The staff greeted me warmly and when they discovered it was my first time they spent time walking me through the whole menu and explaining the style of food. A gentleman gave me a coupon for a free sandwich as a gift for my first time.I ordered the pulled pork with a side of Mac and cheese. Amazing. Man did it hit! They have lemonade and sweet tea, but I mixed it half and half and my gosh. The food was literally some of the best I had. I used the mission belle and smokehouse sauce. They offer 6 hot sauces on the table. Lisa was cleaning and serving the table, she helped me so much, was very attentive, and cleaned up the table for us. I was taken back.Lisa then offered me a free dessert as a first time visitor. I’ll truly never forget the service and food and can’t wait to bring my family back.I recommend this place wholeheartedly. I had the best time and it was money well spent. The staff is responsive and well trained and so welcoming. You won’t have a bad time here I promise!Shoutout to Lisa, and the Spanish gentleman (was it Justin?) for truly making my first time special.“
“This is a premier place, if you didn't know about itThe food was excellent, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was the best. If you go, once you go twice. I almost hate to give this review! The next time I come, I will have to wait an hour or two to get a seat.“
“service was impeccable! everyone seemed to be on a conveyor belt with how smoothly things came out to us. went about 430-5 for dinner. a few people in the bar, not too crowded. our waitress was so nice! I order dry wings which were crispy but juicy. & I ordered the chicken joseph. i ordered it for my dad who's name was Joe & Stingers was one of his favorite restaurants... the dish was plated & executed perfectly - just wasn't to my taste, sauce/gravy for chicken was a little too sweet. my mother ordered the same dish & loved it! so it's just my taste. looking forward to going back & trying new items! 10/10 recommend!“
“Really good meal at dining under the stars tonight! We sat outside and had lamb meatballs, tuna tataki and their soup of the day which was a creamy asparagus soup... all were delicious, especially the lamb meatballs. Great Mediterranean flavors with 3 different sauces that all hit perfectly. Entrees were a smash burger (two patties), the two fourteen burger, which was huge and the kimchi fried rice with grilled chicken, which had a great spice to it. Not too casual, not too high-end, service was great, we will definitely be back.“
“We have been regulars here over the past 12 months. Their food is always delicious. Excellent & consistent wait staff! That is super hard to find & keep. Great Happy Hour..never had a meal we weren't pleased with. That said, during our most recent experience, the entire place smelled like old frying oil as soon as we entered. It was to the point that we had to change clothes when we got home. Hopefully it is an isolated experience. Thus the 4 stars. Hopefully won't experience that in the future“
“Outstanding this is my go-to place for roast beef sandwiches. Nice cold beer after work if I work roast beef sandwich sometimes a little tough for parking but other than that it's a great place with recommend stopping by if you're in the area“
“We had lunch ( with my daughter), because we were in the area and ordered salads and a guac and nachos appie. The food was delicious and we had great service. It was a great time for us both. I recommend Local to anyone looking to find great food and drinks in an unkown residential “
“I always had a good time here, all the bartenders were great. Years ago I even got free drinks for escorting a drunk guy out that was harassing somebody when they didn't have a bouncer that night. I never tried the food but it's definitely a great place.“
“Finally, Swarthmore finally has a first class restaurant! The Village Vine is under new management/chef and it is wonderful. The original owners were more interested in having a good wine bar and the food suffered. Give them a try. You'll like it!“
“This place was fantastic! Super chill vibes, friendly staff, and amazing board game selection with someone there to help select a game specific to what you’re looking for. Aside from that, the menu offers both vegan and gluten free options, as well as a large selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, to accommodate everyone’s needs/preferences. Will definitely be returning!“
“I have been coming here for over 12 years. Friendly staff and helpful management make the dining experience pleasant. We bring a monthly group meeting here with very positive results. Not only is their food good, but they recognise their role as a safe gathering place for the community.Wheelchair accessibility: Many in our group are senior so assessibility is essential.“
“I had the scallops which were perfect with potatoes and green beans which were delicious but my potatoes were not warm. Had a side Caesar which looked like a large Caesar dressing and lettuce were fresh and cold. I haven’t had dinner in there in a long time but I remembered it was always good used to go for all u can eat spaghetti and clams or mussels a must try hidden gem to enjoy a nice dinner“
“We had a great dinner at Streetlight. We had a large group so we ordered a lot of appetizers and a few pizzas and it was all delicious. I had the burger as my entree and it was delicious but I could only eat a little because i was stuffed from everything else.“
“Attended a funeral luncheon for my best friend's father. Food was very good and wait staff was very attentive and helpful. My first time there even though I grew up in DELCO and just a few miles down the road. I'm sorry I missed out for so long!“
“This place was pretty good!!! Only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is because one of the members of my party didn't like her food and felt like perhaps it wasn't super fresh. Everyone else's food was fine, so not sure what went on there. One particular aspect I really like about Not Your Average Joe's is that they are super knowledgable about gluten free items and even have their own GF menu - absolutely wonderful for a gluten free gal like me. All of us enjoyed our cocktails and the ambiance, and service was fine!“
“Decided to try it out here today, because it's 70°+ sunny. They had the front completey open-air. Small, but really nice, great cocktails (I had the marple tea, and my mom had a passion fruit gimlet), we had nachos and Mac and cheese apps, shrimp tacos and fall salad. All delicious and our server was very nice.“
“This was my first visit here instead of taking the ride north I decided to support local customer service was good I ordered a cheesesteak and chicken cheesesteak the rolls where fresh and soft just like I wanted them to be the wait wasn’t long the food came up quick I wasn’t disappointed and neither will you! Would I come here again? YES“
“First off, the food is average at best, but you are not really coming for food.... The beer is cold, the tap lines are clean, and the hockey view of rinks 3 and 4 are awesome. The waitresses and bartenders are great. Comparing it to other rinks with Pubs, this one is the best. Tons of tv's to watch a game as well. Lets go Flyers and Delco Phantoms!“
