“Nissley Summer Lawn Series is a favorite yearly tradition for me and my friends. You're able to bring in your own food and non-alcoholic drinks as well as lawn chairs, folding tables, etc. If you don't feel like bringing food they always have a couple food trucks on site. Great selection of wines to purchase. Our favorites are Niagra and Fantasy.“

“The view of the location was beautiful. It was located in the hills of Wrightsville. They are just starting out and already tapped a keg of there standard mead. I had a flight of apple pie mead,cherry mead,pear, and the best of all almond. The apple pie was great with tastes of cinnamon mead which would be great for the winter or cold mountain air. The best was the almond which grew on me the most. By far the greatest taste profile. The joint is run by the most helpful and friendly father,son duo. They are doing a great job on perfecting the art of mead. So I recommend going before it's busy.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting in a relaxing setting with a beautiful view of the vineyard. We were surprised at the variety of wines this small winery produces. Each wine tasting consisted of 5 wines, choosing from preselected wines in 4 categories. You may also choose your own 5 wines from their list. We chose to taste their Sweet wines, Semi-sweet and Exclusive Estate wines. My wife and I shared each. A portion of oyster crackers were served with each category to clean the pallet a bit between wines. After our tastings, we chose a bottle of our favorite sweet and favorite semi-sweet to take home. They also offer a small selection of light food fare, and on most days offer two personal pizza options, Margarita or Garlic Chicken. We did not opt for any food, but it may be desirable for those who are wine tasting on an empty stomach!“

“Fawn and Lynn were absolutely wonderful at the winery. They were so knowledgeable and helped us make sure our bride had a flawless bachelorette party! Fawn even turned us onto her favorite wine there which I simply couldn't leave the winery without a bottle of. I highly recommend the same as she, which is the Pink Catawba.“

“The store was clean and well stocked. I was just going in for a quick purchase. Unfortunately I am not Hispanic so I felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at by some of the workers. The cashier was friendly and very helpful. She was able to quickly help me with my specific purchase. My only problem was being stared at. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place. Just be prepared to get looked at like you don't belong.“
