“Core de Roma has been our favorite Italian restaurant in the Philadelphia area since we discovered their original location in West Chester 8 years ago. We were sad when they had to close their West Chester location! Now that they're in Belmont Hills they're a little harder to get to but SO worth the trip. Gigi and Judy run a fantastic restaurant that feels like a family visit to Rome every time we go! The value and the authenticity can't be beat. Gigi's recipes are authentic Roman Italian recipes the way Italian food was meant to be enjoyed. Judy makes most of the desserts herself and they're absolutely worth saving room for! HIGHLY recommended. Try the suppli, the penne vodka, the core de Roma salad and don't skip on Judy's cannolis! Go and discover this hidden gem!”

“We love Slices and Rolls. While we don't keep strictly kosher we will choose kosher if it's available. Slices and Rolls make it an easy choice because it is not only kosher, it is DELICIOUS! There are some kosher places in the area that if one isn't strictly kosher, one knows that they *only* stay in business because people don't have an alternative. This is *not* true of Slices and Rolls. Their pizza is objectively good - certainly the best kosher option by miles and competitive with any standard pizza shop. It's not fancy but it's good.

I can't say the same for their sushi - specifically because I can't eat it. I have an allergy to corn and they use rice vinegar mixed with corn vinegar in the rice which even if you don't have a corn allergy gives you an idea about the commitment to authenticity. My husband who has eaten it is not so excited to eat it again. Because we aren't strictly kosher (but avoid eating where non-kosher animals are prepared if it's reasonably easy) he prefers to get sushi from the Philadelphia Fish and Lobster Company which is delicious and which I can eat because it uses fully rice vinegar.

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian but not vegan. Delicious!”

“The Tandoori Chicken was a good experience for me. I wasn't expecting the Indian BBQ Chicken meal to be sizzling on a plate for a min.

The Garlic Naan Bread got the right taste to it. It ain't overpowered by Garlic on the Bread.

Lamb Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala & Butter Chicken also got good flavor.

Mango Lassi Drink & the Indian Rice Pudding are a good & light taste to them.”

“My family and I 5 generations have enjoyed your food over the years. From my granny (who has now past) my mother, myself, my children, and now their children. The food is always fresh, tasty and having moved down south trips back up North include a 30 - 40 min drive from New Jersey. Love the family, when we come for food we often talk about our children as we are in the same age group and update on the new things. Visiting soon will be making a trip over.”

“Dietary restrictions: I am getting less and less satisfied with corporate decisions lately. First, I can't have caffeine now because I am too anxious. So I can't get decaf coffee and I have to pay a lot extra for decaf espresso. About double.

Now I have started using more vegan options, and you are charging 70 cents extra for oat milk. A cup of coffee should not be six dollars.

I feel like I am being victimized for my healthy choices. Lately I try to avoid buying drinks at Starbucks and just make my own. I would be buying coffees many times per week if they were a comparable price to regular coffee.

“I used to come here many years with the original owners and loved eating here with my family. Since then I have eaten here a couple of times, and it has been great food and great service 👌! I ordered online for pickup last week and they actually called me twice to make sure my order was correct, which caught me off guard because most 🙃 places don't extend that level of service any longer! I will be going back and if you are in the area, try it 😉 you won't be disappointed!”

“My family had a wonderful time here for my son's 11th birthday! He wanted to try out the hibachi experience, so we reserved a hibachi table. There was another family at the table across from us enjoying a meal as well. The food was incredible (though not one of us managed to catch a piece of it in our mouths), my husband said it was the best meal he's had all year. The hibachi room is decorated with murals of video game & cartoon characters like Mario & SpongeBob, which was great because my son is a gamer. We brought a birthday cake in with us, and the other family joined in to sing "Happy Birthday" & shared his cake with us. The service was great. It was an all around wonderful time, & we will definitely be returning!”

“First time trying Hala Guys and loved it! Food was awesome and the customer service was OUTSTANDING. We were immediately greeted with a smile and great energy and left in a better mood than when we walked in. I was so impressed with how we were treated, I talked about it the whole ride home.

Back to the food: I ordered a sm beef platter - Rice, lettuce, tomatoes, a few onions and white sauce. They recommended I add a little bit of bbq sauce and just a line of hot sauce (I said I heard it was hot...it's hot, but delicious). So glad I listened cause the flavors mixed beautifully together!

Hubby loved his chicken & beef platter. Also said the bathroom was spotless.
