I’m from NY, big pizza guy, love a good crisp in my crust, and a pizza that doesn’t flop. I came back here on a date, and y’all…that food was so good. The wait was a bit much but what can you say? ??♂️ they have good food and it shows, people want it, they’re busy with takeout orders. “I tan next door and walked by this place for months and had been wanting to go here....so made a reservation. Did not check menu or pricing so fiance was a bit surprised at prices...oh well. BUT...it was soon good and he agreed. The steaks were perfect, and the loaded potato...the asparagus could be grilled a bit or something. I got the raspberry something cocktail and it was so good! “Sal's is a family tradition to us, so we make the hour ride and go every year in February for our late family members birthday. This year the service was awful. Each one of us got our meal at a different time, we didn't get silverware to eat with, no one came back and asked if we needed anything. The food was just alright. “Tried Pizza Chef for dinner last night. It's housed in a very unassuming building so you have to know it's there to find it. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who told us to sit anywhere we wanted, we picked a table and sat. The waitress came immediately and brought menus and ice water. I liked her already. I saw there was Chicken Francese on the menu so I asked if the chef could make it with Veal instead and she said certainly. Salads and rolls came first. The salads were large and very fresh. The rolls were nice and warm. Then the entree. Very large portions of veal on top of angel hair pasta with a perfectly seasoned white wine lemon butter sauce. So good! I'll be back to try the Chicken Francese soon.“

“We don't go here often but when we do they always serve up solid, consistent diner food. On our last visit we were with a large group and got a variety of things. The burgers were really tasty and my mother was a huge fan of the fries which were crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside. Server was very attentive. My only complaint is we were seated by the kitchen and they have bins there for dishes which made the spot very noisy. Definitely a worthy stop if you are in the neighborhood.“

My only objection (a small one) was that they do not take reservations but do have a call ahead waiting list - if you arrive within 30 minutes of calling. Also, their (bar) drinks are limited. “I had been going to the restaurant under its previous names for some time and once the restaurant was finished transforming into this new iteration, I knew I had to return. Walking into the club I saw that it was a rather busy night, but it was apparent that Tony and Jeremy had it well in hand and were able to have everything/everyone running smoothly. I did have to sit at the bar for this evening, but that's what I get for walking in with no reservations on a Saturday night. The food was everything I could hope for with both my appetizer of the artichoke hearts and entree of the crab ravioli coming out perfectly cooked. I could tell Paolo and Cyril were leading their team through the dinner rush perfectly. To wrap up the night, I treated myself to their house made tiramisu, the portion was a bit on the large size, but that just means I get a snack for later. I'll certainly be back soon!“

“Just moved to the area and didn’t have a chance to buy groceries yet so I stoped by to grab a couple slices. Growing up in west New York and coming off a recent trip to Italy, I didn’t assume this pizza would be much.My assumption was dead wrong. The crust is thin and crispy on the edges while firm enough to hold the slice together throughout. The cheese is melted and blended with the toppings very well. The do a great job here and it’s only a matter of time before this place really blows up!Truly great pizza!“
