“We were pleasantly greeted as soon as we walked into the tasting room which is very small but has a nice big picture window to Main Street where you could order a glass of wine and people watch. My friend and i opted to stand at the bar and each ordered a tasting. Between the two of us, we tasted 12 wines and honestly none of them disappointed us and we kind of think of ourselves as wine snobs . I am especially dubious of "flavored wines" such as what they call Beach Bum, Cake and Carnival but they were actually very fun and delicious! Our pourer was wonderful, she was very knowledgeable about each of the wines and was friendly. We ended up buying 6 bottles for a discount but as they ship we know we'll be buying more online. This was a very fun experience. Btw, the brewery (which we did not visit) is right next door and also has a restaurant (I can't endorse it because we did not try it)“

“Kris and her team are phenomenal to work with. We had our wedding rehearsal dinner at Black River Farms and I was so pleased with how things went. Kris was so communicative and there every step of the way. Their wine is excellent (my favorite in the valley) and I was excited to have my guests experience their wine as well. I also have to shout out Feast in the Valley for catering as their food was also fantastic. I absolutely will be using both Black River Farms and Feast in the Valley for all my event and catering needs in the future.“

“We stopped by about 30 minutes before close on a Saturday to try mead for the first time. We were greeted happily by the bar tender, and she spent quite a bit of time explaining mead, how it is made, and the different flavors and varieties that were available. The mead was tasty, and we purchased several bottles to bring home. (Buy 4 bottles, get a free bag!)We had a great time, and this super fun and chill place is a great stop on a Saturday night!“
