“My husb & I went here Friday night 4/26 for my bday & did the combo dinner comedy show. The meal was from Stinky's sliders food truck & was pretty good. We both ordered flights of wine which for $10 each was well worth it. We then had our own reserved table upfront for the show. 4 comedians did their thing & I have to say I laughed w each one them. The show was an 1.5hr long which was perfect. I highly recommend if you’re looking to not break the bank to do the bundle - well worth being there for 3hrs. Next one is 5/24 w all new acts. Enjoy!!“

Cellar Beast Winehouse Winery •
139 Ash Cir, Andreas - 4.51 miles

“Under the soft glow of evening, amidst the clinking of glasses and the murmur of guests, I found myself immersed in the exquisite symphony of flavors orchestrated by Joe Mattera of The Brickhouse and Assistant Winemaker Aaron Francis. The journey began with a tantalizing Antipasto course, a delicate dance of traditional Italian meats and cheeses, harmoniously paired with the bright notes of a 2022 Pinot Gris from WA. The flavors intertwined like old friends, creating an enchanting prelude to the culinary masterpiece ahead. Next came the Contorno - Salsiccia e Rapini, a robust dish of Italian sausage and rapini bathed in garlic, olive oil, and parmigiano reggiano. Paired with the velvety 2022 Jeune Bête from YV, WA, it was a symphony of savory delights that left taste buds singing in delight. The Primo dish of Grilled Octopus with roasted potatoes, lemon vinaigrette, and chili oil was a revelation. Paired with the zesty 2022 Cabernet Franc Rosé from YV, WA, the dish shimmered with flavors both bold and delicate, a true testament to culinary artistry. As the evening progressed, the Secondo - Il Ragù della Domenica - graced our palates with its comforting embrace of traditional Italian "Sunday Gravy." Paired flawlessly with the robust 2021 Malbec Res. from Red Mt, WA, the dish transported us to the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany with each sumptuous bite. Finally, the Dolce - Budino di Pane - brought the evening to a decadent close. The Panettone bread pudding with amaretto cream, caramel sauce, and vanilla ice cream, paired with the luscious 2022 Petit Verdot from Red Mt, WA, was a sweet crescendo that lingered on the palate long after the last bite. In Joe Mattera and Aaron Francis's expert hands, each dish was not just a meal but a sensory experience, a culinary journey that spoke of passion, skill, and an unwavering dedication to the art of fine dining. Welcome to our pairing dinner indeed, where every bite tells a story and every sip paints a picture of gastronomic perfection. A night to remember, crafted with the care and finesse of true culinary artisans“

Setter Ridge Vineyards Winery •
99 Dietrich Valley Rd, Kutztown - 9.75 miles

“Offering a very relaxed environment, on a lovely property, with very good wines and great service. Family-friendly, with plenty of space to find your niche and settle in for a while. Currently, they offer 6 pre-arranged tastings of 4 wines, including flights built around their crisp whites, their reds, their Burgundy grapes, their Bordeaux grapes, their sweet offerings, and with chocolate pairings. You can also built your own flight of 4 wines for a few dollars more. The standouts for me were the Pinot Noirs - I'd advise trying glasses from both vineyards if you can, as they're quite unique from one another. We also really enjoyed their Riesling and Pinot Gris - nice and crisp, just enough bite to tantalize the tongue without overpowering your taste buds. In all, Setter offers more than 20 wines that can fit most guests tastes. The bottles all provide very solid value for their price points and are worth bringing home. I like the versatility of their wine lineup - you can find some great choices ranging from sparkling wines you'd enjoy during a cocktail hour, to white and red offerings that pair nicely with seafood and red meats respectively. If you're looking for something a little different, they serve Sangria, as well as Mimosas on Sunday - these choices are also delicious.“

“A delightful, lively winery with pleasant surrounding vineyards, live music and plenty of seating spaces to choose from - upstairs and downstairs tasting rooms, and outdoor, tent dining. Very family friendly. Great location and atmosphere. Friendly staff. The boards are tasty, as is the Buffalo Chicken Dip. The kids wolfed down a couple of hotdogs each, and there are good truck options as well. The wines range are generally , with the No. 41 and Chambourcin my favorite and the Traminette serving as my wife's favorite. All the samples are good sized. A great stop along the Lehigh Valley Wine Trail or if checking out the Kutztown area wineries.“

“We love Clover Hill. We've been drinking their wine for years. They have good wine that is also affordable. And I have never had an unpleasant interaction with an employee. I can't say I have ever dined at any of their locations, so I can't speak on that, but I have already picked up wine at 3 of their locations. Which wines? My family loves their sweet wine, the Catawba and Concord have been our go to wines since we started buying CHW, which was around a decade ago.“

340 Old U.S. 22, Kutztown - 7.16 miles

“I made sure to speak with the manager before leaving, however word of mouth goes far so I will post this here for everyone to read as well. This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL venue. Really good food/wine. The wait staff was EXCEPTIONAL. One name that stood out the most was Mary (blonde with glasses), she was **chef's kiss** truly the definition of great hospitality. She went above and beyond the ENTIRE day. You have a gem on your hands with her! However, the entire wait staff was GREAT! Very impressed. I hope to be back for another wedding/event!“
