“I had the crab cake platter. It was pretty good, a little too salty for me. The yams were prepared well, I was happy the string beans didn't have meat, but they fell short on flavor. Others enjoyed the wings, a little pricey, but not terribly.“

“It's been a minute since we've been here. It has changed a lot. For the better. Seated promotly, they do try to push the bar tab. It's kinda expected and up to the customer to say yes or no. I had one. It was delicious! I ordered the veal tenders. I ordered without mushrooms and there was no oroblem. OMG! So nice and tasty. I brought some home for next days lunch. He had the veal chop. He enjoyed it. Lots if food but we wanted some salad. One salad and two plates. Who knew? It worked out great. The service was excellent. This used to be a quiet place to have dinner. They've added tables and it's much more lively. Everyone seemed happy and upbeat. We will be back. Yummy!“

“I recently worked as a photographer at this bar/restaurant space that was being used for a wedding. There is a small space in the back thats great for pictures and small parties. They also have a bar upstairs and ample parking across the street. The appetizers were delicious and creative. Its a nice venue to hold a small event or to have drinks/dinner.“

“The food was fantastic! I recommend the calamari for an appetizer. Prime rib special was out of this world. It paired well with their signature old fashioned. To finish things off, I enjoyed the apple strudel dessert. The service was wonderful. Food was perfectly prepared and executed. Same goes for the drinks. “The honey soy garlic Korean fried Chicken was some of the best I have ever had, if not the best. The Banchan was very good. The Pickled Chayote and Radish (Mu) were the stars for me. The Kimchi was good, but a little too spicy for me (I should've put in on the grill and cooked it a bit). The corn-cheese sausage as amazing. The Brisket was amazing. Pork belly was very good too, but I wish they had some Shiso or Red Leaf, so I could make a ssam. The ssamjang was very doenjang forward. Not sure if they have more than one type, but I prefer mine with more gochujang. Overall, Pocha Street is a must try.“

“The BarXlll Delaware is a great place to go and The Bar got alot of events and got a food Truck out front of the bar and they sell food right there and I recommend going to check it out and the people are friendly and I'M be going Back again and again and I hope see you there at the bar.“

“This is easily the best new restaurant in the area. And it isn’t close. We’ve been to Tommy’s four times now, and everything we’ve had is excellent. I keep track of things we order at restaurants and this is what I had to say:Awesome cheesy garlic flatbread; very good half bbq chicken; best French dip ever; awesome fries; very good burgers; excellent sweet potato tots with marshmallow sauce; very good pizza; very good Caesar (get extra dressing); awesome Cherry Coke ribs; excellent pulled pork; great chips (get side of bbq); amazing toffee dessert.The staff is amazing. Super friendly and attentive. It has a good loyalty program. We’ve already received some rewards. Beware though. It has a sports bar vibe and can get pretty noisy. The food is outstanding. I’d be surprised if they made anything that we didn’t like. Check it out.“

“This place is a place that is guaranteed a great time . Friendly staff and hard working. The entertainment is always going on with some great music and the Dj is always getting the crowd in the mood and up on the dance floor. Saturdays at 6 there is bingo. Always booked to the max and if possible I would recommend reserving a spot at the bar or reserving a table. Always a great and interesting night of bingo with fun people and big jackpots. Try it out! After bingo it's dj the. Football and food is another thing going on. Good bar food and beyond. Always and any dish off the menu is tasty and satisfying. Nice size portions and never disappointed . One place where staff customers entertainement and kitchen all get five stars. “Named as one of the top dive bars in the country, Murph's is a bit less ragged and run down and a step up from some of the dives I've been in. It's clean, tastefully decorated, and spacious. You can immediately tell that this is a neighborhood bar, where the locals are all familiar with one another. There is ample space for pool, and the 360 degree wrap-around bar is a great touch. We only came in for beer, and I can report back that the draft beer is quite cold!“

“When I booked my reservation, I didn’t realize it was a hotel. I won’t lie when I say I was apprehensive when I pulled up; hotel restaurants can be very hit and miss. My worries washed away once I got outside and sat down. The outdoor patio is very nice, and the inside looked good too. But on to the best parts. Cheesesteak eggrolls were fantastic as was the chicken parm baguette. Good portion sizes. The best part though? The service. Our server was Branden and he was nothing short of great. Polite, communicative, funny and just seemed like an all around great person. If he is any indication, then I’m sure all of the staff are great. Definitely will go back and I hope the second time is just as good as the first.“

“My Mom and I came here for the first time last night. Well lived in Ardmore all our life and never been to this restaurant. We will definitely be back. We ordered the special which was Gnochi with sausage and meatballs. It was delicious. The server was really nice and the atmosphere was nice as well. “I couldn't wait to write this review after eating our delicious take out. We got cheesesteaks truffle fries banging shrimp and the Gibbstown famous mozzarella sticks. Everything was amazing! I'm so full I couldn't finish all mine so have some left for a snack or for tomorrows lunch. Thanks LOCAL for giving Gibbstown a true place to get great food. In my opinion you get what you pay for and this food was on point! We will be back many times!!! (I hate cooking lol).“

“I love this place bec they promote people to dance, even if a person has 3 left feet & they offer lessons! I sometimes feel intimidated bec everyone is so good on their feet! The professional couples that dance make it look awesome! They make you want to learn & they look so romantic!The food is what it is! They don't do fine dining & that's OK! The food is secondary for The Crab Tavern as it should be! This venue knows what works for them! My hats are off to them! The part to them focusing on the dancing, most songs they play are geared to folks wanting to dance & most of the time the floor always has people dancing! It's not like a regular club where the dance floor stays empty! Or worse yet, there are only females dancing by themselves! I'm not saying I don't understand why they do that! At a regular club, the females dance with each other bec the men are intimidated or don't know how to dance!Or they need a couple of drinks to loosen them up!“

“Literally we were driving by and took a chance!It was exactly as it should be, a nice neighborhood tavern that was welcoming to a couple of strangers that stopped in for a pint or two. Yes, they serve GUINNESS! Food was comfortable, and tasty! The tavern has plenty of LARGE screen tvs for watching the Phillies from any point of view! We sat near the bar at a pub table, but they have a separate dining area where you could sit at a table away from the bar.“

“It's nice to see how the new owner has cleaned up the place. The atmosphere is inviting. There are plenty of TVs with a variety of sports to choose to from. The bartender, Charlie, was personable which added to a pleasant experience. The kitchen has added some interesting items to the menu. My friend and I got there after the kitchen had closed so we didn't get to order anything. Next time I go I'll get there earlier in the day. “I live down the street from this place and I really enjoy coming here. It doesn't get too crowded and the drinks are really cheap. It is a smoking bar, so be prepared. They make great sandwiches, but the kitchen closes pretty early. The bartenders are always on point and nice, and the other patrons are friendly. They have shuffle bowling, pool, and darts, too. Check it out if you're in the area and feel like hanging out at a gem if a dive bar.“

Was a little confused about the set up at first if we wait for a server, order every thing at the bar, or get one can or bottle at a time and then pay for it at the bar. 3rd party BBQ kitchen was good for BBQ sandwiches. You can try a beer and if you don't like it, try another.“

“Normally, my boyfriend and I go to Ridley House to eat. The staff are always awesome and the food is always good. Tonight we were exhausted and decided to order through door dash. I ordered the Caeser salad with chicken however, there was no chicken when my food arrived. I tried to call the door dash driver but he didn't speak English and didn't understand what I was saying. I called Ridley House and spoke to the manager, Patrick, because I was initially going to pick up the chicken. Patrick went above and beyond and had a whole salad with chicken delivered to my house for me. Exceptional customer service and we even got complimentary dessert. I tried to tip the gentleman who brought the food but he wouldn't accept it. They were very professional and just all around awesome! Thank you Patrick for being an amazing manager! If I could give 10 stars I would! I highly recommend Ridley House.“

“I've been there twice so far. Each of those times, the food was excellent and well prepared. The staff were all friendly and courteous. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the entire restaurant. It's a shame I don't really drink. Otherwise, I was going to have a drink at their bar. If you go, have a drink for me.“

“We stopped by for a quick beer and to see the view. The beer is good, and the service is superb. Dana is friendly and prompt. It's hard to come by a good bartender, but she made us feel more than welcomed. We had the crab artichoke dip. It is fresh and tasty. They have great special and the view is peaceful.“

“You dont come to Joes for atmosphere and they dont serve food. But drinks are cheap, TV screens are plentiful, the crowd is happy ranging to rowdy on late weekend nights, and the pizza/salad place next door is good. “That night didn't want to go out.However, my wife wanted to go and I could not let her go by herself.So I went.and to my surprise I had an awesome time. “Forever changing neighborhood this is a fairly decent dive bar. Shout out to Starmaid Shantay (sp)(Monday and Wednesday). The place is clean and people play great music from the 'jukebox'. This is an old school pace with two pool tables and a short food menu. I believe the same people own Rose Bar off of Island Ave. They have the standard Asian version of soul food, basically good fried wings with various fried rice on rotation. The Singapore Soup was just okay no tofu or chicken Would I go back? Yep during Happy Hour 5-7 Monday-Friday.“

“I love this bar! I'm from nyc and was visiting family that goes to this bar on a daily basis. This was in 2007. George was a cool dude and always showed me respect. “I had an unplanned layover in Philly and was stuck for the night at the La Quinta Inn. All I wanted was a few beers to ease my horrible day... I walked to the gas station down the street but no luck. I found this place on Yelp and showed up an hour before they closed. The bartender (Laura? Lauren? Laurel?) was so nice and sympathetic. I ventured out back and there was a nice group of people hanging out. A few beers and shots later and I felt much better. Laura(?) the bartender even gave me a lighter that I kept for the rest of my trip. And the rest of my trip didn't get much better and I almost had another lay over in philly on the way back... I wish it had happened because I would have revisited this place!“

“Just reopened. Cute inside, loved the bar. The owner was so friendly and nice. We went early on a weekday, basically as soon as they opened. She spent a lot of time chitchatting with us. It’s a little out of our way but we will be back, because the vibe was really welcoming and comfortable.“

“At first glance one would label John Morton's as a dive bar, however once given a shot one would find instead, a corner neighborhood bar. This bar makes me wish I were a local. So welcoming and friendly. The vibe here is high and positive. Loud music that isn't overwhelming and happy friendly faces all around. I was happily surprised with the roast beef sandwich, that although quite messy was tender and flavorful right down to the last drippy bite. The homesteader. A full long roll half pork/half beef, again dripping with juicy meat and tasty gravy. The waitstaff is personable, engaging and eager to please. Mon-Fri they offer lunch specials, and their regular prices are quite affordable.“

He quickly gave me advice on the local places to visit off the beat and path. Place seemed very clean, all the customers were very nice and welcoming. Nice selection of beers on tap as well as bottled and canned beer. Decent selection of spirits, top shelf and rail. Nicely decorated for the Holiday Season. ATM available in establishment, pool table and good music, large televisions and cigarette machine, although I saw no one smoking in bar. They do sell beer for off site consumption. The banter between the clientele is funny and heartwarming. Bruce the bartender clearly enjoys his job and seems well respected by all in the bar. Place is big on Veterans. This place is a Gem. “I been going to Mickey's for over 30 years. I took my Sean to the dentist across the street. So I wandered in and all the friends I made back in the day were there and remembered me. The bartender remembered the day my wife Patrice died, I held her in my arms til her last breath. Her will to live was so powerful that she pulled the whole oxygen tent into her mouth.When she finally let it out that was it.I told everyone that I was staying. Eventually people stated to leave but I wouldn't let go of my precious girlI couldn't accept it. Our Heather finally had to leaveI stayed and held her until she lost all her color and turned to ice. I realized she was gone. And I finally could stop cuddling her like she loved.I walked out of that hospital in a trance. I drove down to Mickey's and walked in but I couldn't talk. The guys knew something was wrong. They were giving me space . I got a vodka and went to the front door to just gaze at the sky. The bartender came over and asked if I was alright. Stood in the doorway with me.Almost instantly the sky opened up and the fiercest hail storm We ever seen just came outta nowhere and everyone was in awe, gaping at the intensity and I turned around and said Patrice just died and these are the tears of heaven ? ?They were stunned, they all loved her!!Anyone that knew her loved her. You could not help it. I was the luckiest man in the world ⚘️ and suddenly she was gone. Beem 15 years and I still grieve.I cry every time I have to talk about her.ICry when I think about her. So today in Mickey's I was overwhelmed with emotions when they welcomed me and remembered that Hailstorm . I cried uncontrollable. I am just trying to get this out my friends. Sometimes it helps“

“Nice neighborhood place staff is friendly beer is good food is awesome...2 complaints 1 it's so loud in there they should have insulated the ceiling because everything Echoes and people are yelling over top of each other to have a conversation second the kitchen shuts down early every night 8:45 on Saturday the kitchen's closed they should at least have a late night menu.“

“Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone who is looking for a new experience. It has all the basic foods that you love and some new foods for you to try. The staff is over the top kind and helpful and the food is delicious. Located in central Ardmore, McCloskeys is a neighborhood Irish pub that has been serving for over 85 years. As I walked in, I was greeted by accommodating staff who allowed me to sit wherever I wished. I picked a high-top table, but they also had low tops and a bar to sit at. I scanned over the menu and many things caught my eye. Some of which are the quesadilla of the week, soup of the day, and McCloskey's burger. I ended up picking the penne rosa, along with a shirley temple. When the waiter handed me my shirley temple, I already knew it was going to be a good one, since they gave me 3 juicy, red cherries inside. Our appetizers came out and as a person who does not care for wings, I have to say that the buffalo wings (mild) that we got were superb. They had the perfect spicy kick and just the right amount of melty sauce, they were also served with a side of ranch, carrots, and celery. My penne rosa came out warm and steamy, on a big shiny, oval plate. The first bite was the best, the sauce was so creamy and exquisite, the pasta was cooked to perfection. The only thing that bothered me, was that it is a smaller place with many people, which made it a little loud.“

“Most welcoming bar you can find. Great people, wonderful bartenders, three great pool tables in the basement. Beautiful back outside area if you want to smoke or get some fresh air with your drink. But, the people make this place John Lee, the Billy's, Debra (not big Debra), everyone you meet is kind, trustworthy and make you feel comfortable. My wife left her phone on the bar to go to the bathroom while I was outside, and I knew it was safe. A true American bar where everyone is together. I wish I went more often, but I know when I do go, I will have a Great time. We need more bars like this! My wife loves this place even more than me!
