“Basic diner food. Ordered delivery from here. The different containers were clearly marked. It's fine, though there's nothing that really sets the food here apart from other diners. Their DoorDash menu's a bit screwed up. For example, if you want a ginger ale, you need to select coke.“

“Yesterday we ate here for the first time! I pass by here everyday on the way to work so I was definitely on board to try Safe after my mom suggested it! The menu was filled with such great choices but as soon as I saw the seafood selection I knew what I wanted. My mom and I both got the broiled scallops which were DELISH! I got a 1/2 pound burger with American cheese and BLT, a mountain of fries and a Diet Pepsi with free refills for $12.99.The food was perfectly cooked to boot! “I grew up in Kennett and had many meals with previous owners. My favorite was always breakfast. So when I came back to town with my wife from Georgia, she wanted to experience my hometown. Despite a different owner the food took me right back to Jacks Dinner. The wife actually tried scrapple for the first time, and said it was ok. For me the chipped beef and home fries - right on the money. The staff - awesome. Checked on us, quick on refills and additional stories from the past.“

“The menu is large so I thought the food may be subpar. Boy was I wrong! The food was delicious and the portions were large. We even purchased a quart of the beef & barley soup to take home. If you can, request server Uly. He was attentive but not overly so.“

“I only ordered take-out, but the dining room looked like a nice place to eat. Plenty of parking here and it’s located right in the middle of Route 202, so you can stop in on the way to or from anywhere. The staff seemed really chill and the chef in the back added everything I asked for on my fries with no problem, which usually can be a hassle at other places. “I've worked near Gramm's for a while and I wish I'd tried it sooner! My boss and I went in for a Friday lunch last week. We were immediately seated and greeted. We were in before noon so we both decided on brunch. My boss had never tried eggs Benedict so she tried their version with bacon and I tried their version with scrapple. A few minutes after we ordered, the power went out due to bad weather! But it was back on within 5 minutes and even more amazingly, our food was served just a couple minutes later. Impressive! I will definitely return.“
