“Stumbled upon this restaurant while in the area, and so glad to have!The highlights for our group of 4 were the pints of cask ale, the venison rack special and the sticky toffee pudding!!! Amazing!!We also enjoyed our Scotch eggs, bubble and squeak, bangers and mash, and shepherds pie.Seems like (on weekend night) you better grab a reservation. We waited without one and considered ourselves lucky when some space at the bar opened up well before a table was available for 4.“

“My wife and I went to Sovana on reccomend from the folks at Phillips Mushroom Farm. We are very glad we took did! From the semi-twin ladies opening the doors for us, to the fun atmosphere, to the great food. They compt' my wife's dessert 'cause it was her birthday and made a GREAT Bloody Mary! But even better than all of that was our server, Racquel T. She was fantastic! She was very friendly, made us feel right at home, was chatty but didn't waste time, she knew the menu very well, even though she said she was relatively new. Absolutely delightful...the kind of personality that makes you want to come back. Thank you all for a wonderful time. John G.“

Not a lot of restaurants give me that “impressed” kind of feeling, but this one sure did. Our waitress even chased us down when our keys were left! “Nice atmosphere in between the Harley Davidson drivers craving attention like loud teenagers on State Street. Portions are meager and you’d think pasta wasn’t a dollar per pound. I figured I’d play it safe and order the most expensive seafood/pasta entree on the menu, but it was mediocre. Should have ordered the chicken parm. You know something is wrong when you’re given a roll and pungent humus in an “Italian” restaurant. Then you have to ask for salt and pepper, then ask for butter, and ask and ask and ask and some of the servers act like they’re doing you a favor. There’s little value here.“

“My family held a private gathering in the back room of Lily on Sunday, October 29, 2023. The entire restaurant knocked our event out of the park. The food was fanastic - appetizers and entrèes - and our guests are still telling us how delicious everything was. Our waitress, Nicole, and our waiter were superb. They handled all the details and were one step ahead on everything. We are so grateful for all that everyone at Lily did to make our party so special. I highly recommend reserving the back room for your next gathering or event. They definitely know what they're doing!!“

“I read the other reviews and agree 100% that the fish tacos are the BEST I ever tasted!!!! The 3 young men at the counter woman (chef) were welcoming & pleasant!! “Love this place. Apart from great coffee and pastries, they even have a GIANT mug with samples of pain relievers (see picture). Asked the lady serving us why they have them on offer and she said “they go well with caffeine”. Note: it was shortly after NYE. I simply thought it was extremely thoughtful.“

“Jamie Drewes is the only bartender we can walk by, see working, and her presence is the reason we stop by. She is fun, interactive with the customers, personable, and she makes her drinks by the book no matter how busy. She truly provides quality service and product and should be a model for the other bartenders there. Her behind the bar makes the drink and the atmosphere worth the price.“

“Such a gem of a place nestled nicely in the Village of Eagle, near Chester Springs…. This is my “go to” for a really good breakfast sandwich and a great tasting Latte! The staff here are great! The ambience is great! Love supporting the Local Cafes that provide Real Food, Handcrafted drinks, and wonderful service!I loved this location when it used to be Juniper Tree, and now love it even more since it’s become Park Road Cafe. “Went there today for lunch. Well, the staff is friendly but I don't dig the QR code ordering deal. I would like to be waited on by courteous staff and leave a generous tip. In the end, we did have to ask them to please take our order because there were some things in the app that were not clear. The staff was nice, but it is highly suggested that they tend to the clientele just a bit more in the beginning to see if someone really would like to have table service. I didn't feel like I was walking into a cafeteria or self-service fast food restaurant, and that actually was a plus. But I expect the service to go along with it. I don't personally agree with pooling the tips. When someone waits on a table and does a great job, they should get the tip, but I guess if a lot of people order on their own, that could be difficult in the end for the full staff. I saw the special note about the plans for hiring different individuals and that is great. I just think there are some bugs to be worked out most likely.“
