“We had the pleasure of eating at Sam's last week on a business trip to Downingtown. He opened the place in 1976 and it maintains that same vibe. My colleague and I both ordered a pizza cheese steak with pepperoni, onions and mushrooms. Wow! The bread and the love that went into making it! “If you want to enjoy the best spaghetti bolognese in the region, then you have to go to pizza mia! My wife is away for a few days, so, I think I will have have the bolognese every night for dinner while she is gone! Sauce is terrific! No really, it is really very good. Try the caesar salad and the gnocchi with blush sauce. Also excellent! Looking for pizza for monday night football? Pizza mia again. Crust is perfect. It's a simple place, nothing fancy, but the food, workers, and the cooks are friendly and great. The dishes that I mentioned are so good, that I haven't ventured onto other menu items yet. I will make an effort to do so on my next visit. I saw someone get the eggplant, and that looked delicious too. I am sure the other items are good too. Try it, you will not be disappointed!“
“Pomod'oro just catered a company luncheon and oh my goodness....so good! Meatballs! Vegetable lasagna (which I never had but loved)! Caesar salad! Roasted peppers! Bruschetta! I could go on. Fortunately I found a container I could take some leftovers home in! They were even better! ?“

“Lione's has the best Italian food ever! My mom and I love their chicken tortellini soup and Italian wedding soup. Their silcian pizza (or any pizza) is excellent. I love their calzones and their pasta dishes. I never had a bad meal there and the staff is excellent. I would recommend to anyone.“
“I called to book a party for my daughter's 7th birthday. On the phone, I was told it was all set and good to go. When I went the day of, I was told they didn't have the party in their book. Felicia (I apologize if I spelled it wrong) said not to worry about it and her and the team got a party set up in literally 10 minutes. Our hostess, Armani (again, apologize if I got it wrong) was so sweet and made sure we were set for the entire party, checking in periodically. Please remember to ask for no cheese on any sandwich or baked item when ordering otherwise they will include cheese. I enjoyed meeting Jad. As other customers mentioned in the website he is all about customer satisfaction and service! Jad’s is spotless inside and conveniently located. Fair priced. I look forward to ordering from them soon! My new go to place for sure. Also they don’t charge extra for using a credit card as other nearby pizza/ pasta shops do! My order was ready within just about 5 minutes. Very fast service. Jad truly cares about his customers especially because it is his own business.Went back to try their baked ziti with meat sauce. “Love Downingtown Pizza! They are so amazing, the whole staff is so sweet. We live right across the street literally so we frequent there a lot. They gave a mask to my fiancée last time he was there, which was so sweet! And not to mention how yummy all of their food is! Definitely recommend this shop!“
“Let me put you there. You've been waiting in the lounge of the dealership for 2 hours. You look across the street, there's pizza. No way it's open before noon, right? WRONG, 10:30 you call in for some proper food, so what kinda slices do they have? All the good ones! We fork from here, so I get two chicken parmesan Sicilian slices, and one of those beautiful raspberry lime sodas, boom it'll be ready in two minutes. I walk over, and oof the smell as you walk in is that smell, you know the one, like the perfect food is in the air. It's ready, and the guy who owns the place is cool, we start small talking but before I know it I'm walking out with two amazing slices of pizza. I don't even like Sicilian that much, I loved these. Will come to colonial again if just for the pizza from Thorndale Pizza Box!“

“This place was packed last time i was here but managed to find a seat at the bar pretty fast. Five dollar's for a lager draft i thought was a little high but maybe that's just me. All the food looked good that was coming from the kitchen. The remodel look's great also. I will be going back to this place again when i can. Five star from me guy's.“
