“Traveled to PA for our daughter's volleyball tournament and due to rain we decided instead of eating out for a team bonding dinner we would order pizza and hang out by the pool. Based on reviews I wanted to try Venice's pizza. We are a large team and instead of ordering everyone's food and dealing with collecting money I called and spoke to Christopher and asked if he would allow us to order as families, pay for our own meals and delivery one large order. He agreed and just asked that we allowed at least an hour for the food. ALL food for about 12 different families delivered quickly, accurately, hot and good!! Oh I didn't even remember to ask but he made sure we had plenty of plates and napkins! Thankful for the service as Christopher said he would take care of us and did! Would definitely recommend and if we come back we will definitely visit again! Oh and the wings were delicious !!“

“So. It's been quite awhile since my family and I have been to Anthony's in Malvern. I have to say that the more they renovate the worse the restaurant becomes. We took my dad there for his 76th birthday. There were 7 of us altogether. My wife kids and grandson arrived first at 5:15. It was not crowded-there were many tables available for seating. The hostess informed my wife that we could not be seated at a table until all of our guests were in the restaurant. We were a bit confused by this since we had never experienced this before at Anthony's or anywhere else. I told the hostess that my father was a minute out-nonetheless, we could not sit at a table until he arrived. Which was baffling due to the fact that there were at least 10 tables open and no wait. The funny thing is we did not ask to sit down-we were informed that we would not be seated until all guests had arrived. When we spoke to the owner after we bein seated-upon the arrival of our one missing guest-he informed us that this has always been the policy and the main reason is to keep the wait staff from having to come back to the table and explain the specials a second time to the late arrivals or have to take a second drink order. Honestly if my server can't take the time to do that-I will not be able to take the time to figure out what 20% is! After this baffling exchange no specials were explained, we were instructed they were written on the first page of the menu. Which is fine by me if I don't know what something is I'll ask. Now I would have been willing to let all this nonsense slide-we don't get a chance to dine out often-but-and this is the truly disappointing part to all of this. The food was not good. At all. In the past, before the place was remodeled-and they added a bar etc etc the food was magnificent. Our service at this visit was excellent minus the bumpy start but somewhere along the path of expansion and remodeling-the quality and quantity of food has been forgotten. It wasn't just myself who thought this either. There were 7 of us and 5 of our clan were not impressed with the food. Enough so that this will be our last trip to Anthony's of Malvern. It wasn't so much about the whole seating "policy". The facts are -we go out to eat on special occasions. Birthdays, anniversaries, we work hard so we deserve a night out, those types of occasions. I/we want to enjoy the food we order to celebrate those occasions. I ordered the raviolis with two meatballs topped with their pink sauce. The raviolis were overcooked, the meatballs tasted as if they were 1/2 bread crumbs and the pink sauce was bland and unsatisfying. We make the Irish version of pink sauce at home by combining 1/2 jar of Alfredo with a 1/2 jar of marinara. It's not great but it is certainly tastier than what I was served last night. As my wife and kids tell me I've lectured too long! Save yourself the hassle and trade in the Anthony's of Malvern for the Anthony's if Downingtown. In a society that puts so much emphasis on the outside beauty of things, the old adage is true. Beauty is only skin deep. Anthony's of Malvern may look spectacular, something on the inside needs mending. To put it nicely. I've only eaten at Olive Garden once or twice for a reason. It's not truly authentic Italian food. I would spend my money and eat there before sitting-not before all my companions arrive mind you- before dining at Anthony's again. They should be done with the seating policy as well as start a remodel on the quality of the food. As I stated in the beginning of this rant-we've eaten there for decades. We will visit the other Anthony's (Downingtown) when it's time to celebrate Italian style time. In the owner's defense-he did give my father a free piece of tiramisu for his birthday-even though he was late. Thanks“

“Had an amazing dining experience at Tonino's in Exton! We were initially on the hunt for a quality pizza spot that offered something beyond the ordinary, and Tonino's truly delivered. From the moment we were greeted with their delicious bread and tomato pie slices, we knew we were in for a treat. We started with the Granny Smith apple salad, which was a refreshing mix of walnuts, cranberries, and blue cheese - incredibly fresh and perfectly balanced. For our main course, the pesto pie with added chicken, alongside a side of marinara, was phenomenal. The dough is arguably the best around, and while the pizza could use a tad more seasoning, a sprinkle of parm and oregano easily did the trick. What sets Tonino's apart is not just their fresh ingredients and fantastic dough, but also the ambiance that strikes a perfect balance between formal and casual. It's a must-visit for anyone looking for a top-notch pizza or pasta in Exton. Highly recommend!“

“I ordered two Italian Hoagies for traveling. They were not exactly sure what that meant, so I explained that I would be eating them the next day and they needed to wrap the vegetables and meat in plastic wrap. The hoagies were fabulous! I was raised on Philadelphia hoagies and these did not disappoint. I might suggest adding some oregano, but that is all. They were filled to overflowing with meat, cheese and veggies. They put the olive oil in a separate container, again for traveling. Very pleasant experience!“

“Very efficient service at this little restaurant. We have gotten takeout from them on several occasions and it is always ready on time. The food is consistently good, and you know what you are getting so it will always be as good as the last time. Made a mistake when ordering one time, and called and the manager took it off our bill right away. Nice to have a place to get quality food and have it done as soon as it should be. Also you can track the progress of your order online!“

“I work in the area and get lunch at Frank’s Pizza at least once it twice a week. The pizza is great. Thin crust is my preference. They have a friendly staff and ample parking in the lot across the street (also good for trucks)Vegetarian options: The vegetarian Stromboli is delicious.Parking: There is a LARGE lot across the street which is good for cars and large trucks as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Franks is located in a converted house/bldg. there are steps so not really ideal for wheelchair accessibility. During the summer they do have a couple outside tables, but is tight“

“I've been there for lunch the last 2 days because of the Presuto. panini. Sorry it's not spelled correctly but it was great. With fries and drink way reasonable in price. Been there before a while ago. And I remember their hoagies were great and pizza. Just haven't been up that way in a while but when I am that's my go to. The people are also really nice.“
