“The place is a bit of a “dive bar”, but only in the best sense of the words. Food is really good and priced fairly. The staff is always friendly to myself and my family. Could the dining room use a bit of an update? Sure it could, but I think it adds to the charm. “Three of us went at 9:00 pm a few days before Christmas. It was crowded, of course, but not unpleasantly so. The patrons were about half locals and half tourists, so the mix was friendly and happy. The age range was twenty something to geezer, again a happy mix.The attractive bartenders were highly competent. We stayed till 2:00am; high praise indeed.“
“Don't go here expecting fancy. It's a bar with bar food. Dusty animal heads on the walls and old time pictures in this old building right in town. We sat up stairs and our chairs vibrated from the music loudly playing from the bar downstairs. But you will get decent food. The ribs and onion rings were awesome. Beer battered fried pickles and the dipping sauce were good too. I wouldn't go back here for brisket, it was shredded and dry. Side of Mac and cheese was underwhelming and the pasta used was too big in my opinion for a Mac and cheese. Buffalo chicken salad was nothing special - rotisserie chicken with not much seasoning to it but their homemade blue cheese dressing is phenominal. I missed the mark by not getting the wings that seems to be the specialty here so I will be back for those. We had good, attentive service, even tho we were seated on the 2nd floor where it was pretty much empty. I would say this is a good place to go if you want casual bar food and good drinks.“
“Let's start with the food. I got the half rack ribs. Very well cooked, fall off the bone tender. Bbq sauce was tasty and the ribs came with plenty of sauce. My friend had the Philly cheesesteak which he was happy with. Their fries are really crispy and a favorite for me. The veg was prepared well and served with lemon slices which i like to put on veg.We went at a low time so there weren't many people there. So what can I say about the atmosphere. Place was clean and there is a nice view. I bet the outside seating is super popular in good weather.We were greeted when we came in by the single server. Being the only server, it took a bit of time to get drink refills, but she was friendly and got things right.Definitely recommend if your out in Bucks Co.“
“We love Steam Pub. Thank you so much to Chris for making things right with our order we had from takeout. We thought things were missing and Chris went above and beyond to fix it. It turned out that it was our mistake and when we went back to give back the gift card and wine he had given us he would not take it back. We go to Steam almost weekly and this kindness and amazing customer service guarantees we will continue to be loyal customers. Our sincerest apologies to all who prepped our order correctly. “We went with friends to hang out out before dinner and maybe some karoke. I was pretty surprise at how many really talented people were there singing. The place was pretty packed on a Saturday between 3-6. Most everyone was nice, too. We didn't eat so I couldn't speak of the food but the drinks were reasonable and the service was good.“
