“How did I read all of these reviews and see no mention of wings?! Everything at Mama's is exceptional but despite moving from the area 6 years ago I make almost weekly trips back for their wings. They are literally the best coming from someone who's taken multiple road trips up and down the east coast to places that were supposed to be the best. Next time you call an order in, add on some wings - they will NOT disappoint!“

“OMG!!! A friend of mine highly recommended this restaurant to me to try out. I am so happy that she did. I have eaten here two times since, and each time was an AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! Let's start with the great service from their wait staff. Izzy, Gabriel, and Sarah were my main wait staff, BUT all the wait staff help each other. So if Izzy, Gabriel, or Sarah are busy taking care of other customers, their co-workers just jump right in and take care of your questions and/or needs quickly. And the FOOD IS SO AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!! ? ? I LOVE LOVE LOVE their freshly made Garlic Knots that you get when you sit down. I also love their Mussels in white wine and garlic and their Meat Lasagna, Chicken Piccatta with capers, mushrooms in a very Yummy White Wine Lemon Sauce; and the portion size is definitely worth every penny - it's Huge - you will leave with a meal's worth for the next day (see picture). And I love their Tiramisu for dessert, too. They have a Great Menu with Many, Many More Choices of different Yummy foods, on top of their Pasta dishes such as the Pizzas, Stromboli and Cheese Steaks, etc. Plus, the restaurant is kept very Clean, it's very family friendly and it's just cozy. “The best pizza within 35 minutes of my residence! Great sauce, wonderful cheese, tasty crust. My only complaint is the thickness of the crust, it's too doughy/thick especially at the ends. Next time I order, I'm going to see if they can use medium size dough and stretch to a large pie.“

“We were there for lunch, loved the food, especially the short rib pizza, and I usually don't eat pizza. My friend thought there was a little too much cheese. Never. I had some sort of crab pasta. It was ok, not loaded with crab like the waiter said. My friend had a salad, no complaints, but the waiter had to be asked to refill our water and tea, and we had to wait to get his attention. It wasn't busy. I loved the tiramisu. The waiter packed up our separate "to go's" nicely. I would definitely go back, lots of interesting things on the menu.“

“Our server Ella was great, she took initiative to bring champagne glasses with her when greeting our table and followed with an ice bucket for our bottle with out being asked. She was knowledgeable about the menu and followed up frequently throughout our meal. The courses arrived quickly for service at 7pm on a Friday night. The food good. Suggestions would be for crostini or crackers with the antipasta and tuna tartar.“

“This place has the best vegan food that doesn't taste like traditional “vegan food”. It also has non-vegan options, so it is great for bringing non-vegan friends/family. They also have a wide variety of alcohol in case you enjoy that stuff. They also have a huge selection of pizzas, even including vegan ones! You can even sub vegan cheese on any one of the regular pizzas. I had a sandwich that was made of pizza crust, and ive never had anything like it before! 10/10 will be returning.“

“Pizza was delicious, had a primavera and a margherita, ordered ahead, when I got there the young man at the counter told me the margherita he made was a little well done on one side, I told him that was fine we are not fussy. “Excellent pizza from a relative newcomer in the area (opened within the last year or so) as the pizza had a New York style thin crust, great tasting sauce, and multiple cheeses (consistent quality and taste all three times I have ordered from them). I have tried many pizza shops in Philly, and this is a top pizza spot in the suburbs (top 5, including downtown Philly pizza spots). Also, the pizza heats up well in an air fryer or oven the next day, as some pizzas don't warm up well from my experience. Honestly, I tried it based on Google reviews and reading from the website it's a family business. The interior is a throwback to the 90s/2000s with family pictures and old-school booths. The service was quick and efficient, with no issues at all. Parking was free and open, but I came at dinner time, so there was less parking in the front. I can only knock them out for not having too many vegetarian options like eggplant-based dishes, but I can understand they want to focus on a smaller menu and be the best at it. Overall, it is a fantastic place, and the food was spot on. I highly recommend it a shot for your next pizza craving!“

“Dinner for three. We all agreed our selections were very good. I had the trout on polenta and a delicious beet salad. Two of us shared a raspberry and chocolate torte dessert. I usually bring something home from restaurants but it was so delicious I ate it all.“

Their Margherita pizza was my favorite, and my daughter and really like the BBQ mushroom. Secondly, the service couldn't have been better! The food came out fast, they got our order right, and the waiter was so nice! Afterwards, he even offered my kids a scoop of ice cream to congratulate my daughter on her competition! My cousin and I were heading to a diner a few doors down as we were starving, but their menu didn't have what we were looking for, so we went for pizza at this pizzaria. La Piovra (Italian for "The Octopus") is more than a pizza place; it has delicious Italian dishes. We ordered mussels in the chef's special sauce that's better than the traditional red & white sauces. We had European seabass called "branzino"; the meat had a sweet taste with few bones. Of course, we also ordered a pizza with truffle cheese, which we didn't finish, so we packed it for his kids. For dessert, we had tiramisu. Because we were the ones there that late Thursday evening, we got to speak with the chef and his wife. They're overseeing the restaurant for the owner. They speak Italian fluently and from Albania. Absolutely amazing chef and super delicious food. I highly recommend this gem. On some Fridays and the weekends, there's a live band performing in Italian.Parking: There's a small parking lot in front of the restaurant but we parked on the street, for free. There are paid street parking adjacent to the businesses.“

“The pizza is phenomenal, easily the best Kosher Pizza in Philadelphia but I want to call out this restaurant's excellent service.We had placed an order for delivery to a new mother so that she would not have to worry about dinner. Right before the restaurant closed we were notified that the pizza had been delivered to the incorrect address. I called Slices and they were able to put together a new order immediately despite closing within just a few minutes.“

We ordered salads for an entire office on Tuesday and each and every salad was phenomenal. This place left such a wonderful impression on us we had to order just two days later; we ordered a variety of pizzas. We requested party slices which was not done. The pizzas didn't hit home for us the way the salads did (said no one ever but I digress :). To be fair they were having a lot of trouble with their phones at the time of my order being placed so it may have been a bit busy there.
