“1st time for me to write a bad experience for my all-time favorite taco joint. Cabeza wasn't the same as normal, tasted burnt. These things happen, unfortunately. It was my first visit in over 12 months because I no longer live nearby. Believe me, I was very dishearten my go to protein tasted the way it did. I hope and pray it isn't that way when I visit again. ??“
“We had such a great lunch at 3 Hermanos, our daughter plowed through her plate of rice and beans with a huge grin. Tacos were delicious. Love the market attached for Latin grocery staples. Very good prices too!Kid-friendliness: All kinds of stuff kids would love“
“This place amazing and will give any Mexican restaurant a run for its money. The service and food are amazing A+++ If you leave hungry, it's your fault. Beware, The food portions are large sp come hungry ?Parking: Plenty of on sit parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kind. Kept asking if everything was ok.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking and entrance are wheelchair accessible.“
“Fantastic tacos! I had chicken, pork, and carna asada tacos, with rice and beans. Perfection! The meat was tasty and perfectly done. Topped with Onions and cilantro. Lime slices and jalapeño slices on the side. I got the homemade hot sauce Which was tasty. Highly recommend!“
“Yup this is the best place, right off the main road in the space of a closed gas station. I cant lie, i was skeptical looking at it but then… but then i tried it. I had a BIRRIA BURRITO and i swear that slow roasted meat was more moist than the ocean and the burrito was HUGE. (It was $12 but definitely worth two meals) i really love birria, ive tried it all over… this is the best birria ive ever had. i also got 2 chorizo and 2 steak tacos. The flavor and size of the tacos were out of this world. They loaded it up. They take card, touch to pay and apple pay (and cash) i work near the truck and i am positive i will be back!“
“Amazing food, all of it was delicious and definitely was freshly cooked all in a timely fashion. Menu had many great options with a wide price range. Chips and salsa was great and they have a free salsa bar provides for customers in addition to salsa provided in appetizer. Service was great, everyone was very welcoming and polite!“
“Third consecutive great meal. Best guacamole around. All ingredients, including chips were fresh. Entree of tilapia and shrimp sautéed with garlic, rice and beans was excellent. The chef is the father of the server, and they both care. They provided at no charge and without request samples of a few other items, including a few fries that were better - much better- than your routine, mass produced frozen agri-product. About the atmosphere - there are three tables and a bar. It's unbelievable that food this good is produced in a place this small. And, this was a Tuesday in Steelton. No room for dessert.“
“Phenomenal hole in the wall authentic Mexican spot, flavors were on point. Steak could be a tad bit more seasoned but overall chicken and steak tacos were top notch! Quesadilla was immaculate!! Birria tacos were decent coulda use some more seasoning on those the flavors wasn't all that but they were still delicious. Service is super quick and efficient!“
“Small Mexican restaurant in the Simpson Ferry strip mall, but great food and prices. Being gluten free, the options were wonderful and marked well!! The Cameron Enchiladas were good as were the chalupas.Dietary restrictions: Superb for gluten free.“
“Most of the entrees are in $10 range. This food tastes better than El Rodeo in Lower Paxton or Mechanicsburg. Husband and I will come here for lunch after we go to the gym. It's almost same prices as a Big Mac meal. Restaurant was clean & filled on Saturday at noon. The portions were huge. I could not finish the meal and son ate my leftovers for dinner. Son's burrito was huge. Sometimes you need to mix it up and eat different cuisines, instead of eating fast food or American food all the time.“
“Absolutely, wonderful food but disappointed in poor treatment I recieved. I understand they're busy during lunch time but I shouldn't have to wait 20 minutes for 2 tacos. Though they served a man before in approx 10 minutes. Even that's fine but I see when the staff is making my taco, they added cheese when I said no cheese. When I mentioned it, he looks at me and rolls his eyes and goes onto another order. Had I been a different persuasion or looked different. I honestly, don't believe it would've happened. I love supporting minority businesses period over all, we share struggles. When things like this happen, I'll take my my money elsewhere. I will say the young man that took my order was very polite, he can't account for other's behaviors. His parents should be proud.“
“$3 "natty daddys" with the boys at the Yankee doodle diner is the move after workin outside in the cold all day. Definitely more of an older person's kind of atmosphere but it's a sleeper Mexican restaurant I think. They serve alcohol and all day breakfast, some Mexican food too and they're welcome to bigger party's of people too. Definitely check them out if McDonald's has become to expensive and to low quality for you, this place is cheaper and the food is so much better than alot of other places aroundWheelchair accessibility: There's no curb up to the door, it's just flat and it's all one level inside“
“Placed an online order and said what time it would be done. I showed up few minutes early and talked with the employee, that I was there for pickup and she looked and didn't have a notification. So I showed them the email that I received and they refreshed the screen and it showed up. They were very apologetic, I wasn't to worried as I had no where to be. They said the would take care of as soon as possible. When food came out it was delicious. Honestly glad I had to wait for it.“
“Stopped in for breakfast. Nice menu, affordable prices and the food is delicious. Love having tots as a breakfast potato option and those tots were piping hot and crispy delicious. I had sausage eggs Benedict which I have never seen on a menu before. The eggs were perfectly poached, a great plate of food. Don't sleep on this place. Looking forward to our next visit.“
“Seated quickly on a Saturday night. A bit surprising as the parking lot was full. The first booth offered to us had very little room, so we were moved to a round booth in corner. Very nice. More quiet. The server was quick to the table and with drinks. She took our dinner orders without an issue. She had questions later and returned to ask for clarification. The food took a bit longer than expected, but not surprising because of the questions.“
“Wow this place was incredible from top to bottom. The staff was super friendly and funny. They had good recommendations without upselling. The atmosphere and decor was great. No wait time even though the place was packed. The food was the star of the show though. The guac and salsa was great. The birria tacos were incredible, totally incredible. We'll definitely be back.“
“Sometimes the best food is in the smallest spaces. Looking for a meal while in Harrisburg that was off the beaten path, we decided to try Taco King. It took me back to a vague memory from 3 decades ago about a similar place I found on a back street in Del Rio, Texas, a couple miles from Mexico. I don't remember the name of the restaurant, or the name of the street, but I bet I could go back to it! One of the best places in town for tacos! Just like love can thrive in tiny homes, sometimes the best food is in tiny businesses!“
“This is a chain of restaurants, everyone is a different showroom of enjoyment. Food is a combination of ingredients you chose. Burritos are HUGE and delicious. You can preorder, do takeout, or just walk in and order.Place is clean, food is fresh, chain will be around forever.Vegetarian options: Order meatless and substitute beans.Kid-friendliness: Can make a cheese caso sandwich or salsa and chipsParking: Most locations are with large public parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrance or at grade for all locations I use..“
“Want to experience authentic Mexican cuisine without traveling to Mexico? This is the place. Great street style tacos on corn tortillas. So reasonably priced too. I love this place. All the different meats are good but I prefer the chicken and beef. Usually comes with a tasty cooked pepper and all kinds of delicious salsas. If you want authentic tacos, nothing in the area comes close. It is known for great food at a reasonable price. it is casual dining with basic booth seating. Not in the nicest part of Harrisburg, but completely safe during the day.“
“I’ve been eating at this restaurant since they were downtown Harrisburg, on 3rd st. Their service and their food hasn’t changed and has always been excellent. Isabella was our waitress today and accommodated us in every way possible. Always top notch food and service. Highly recommendWheelchair accessibility: I recently had surgery on my foot, and I’m using a wheelchair, they accommodated me by asking me how I would like the table chairs to be placed. This is very nice and kind. Thank you!“
“I am now addicted and excited to have found this place! They have chicironnes and I know it’s spelled wrong! They have hibiscus juice and churros and tacos and good nachos. They also have sweets and fresh meat. I will be going here forever!“
“Food was good except for the fajitas mixtas which was ok ok.. t was missing the real sizzling flavor. Service was moderate and the ambience at the backside seating area was good except for the smell/air freshness in winter due to heater usage. Definitely a dine in once in a quarter!!“
“Went there on national margarita day with my family for dinner. The food was pretty good. A daughter had the steak tacos which weren't visually impressive, a little light on meat and toppings, everyone else enjoyed their food. I don't like to drink alcohol when I eat, kills the buzz. but some had margaritas which were heavy on ice and light on alcohol that night. The service was excellent, everyone was hustling to get hot food to their customers, and the facility is impressive, quite a different layout from what I'm used to and that alone makes it a fun visit. You can tell your presence in their restaurant is appreciated by the staff and ownership.“
“Food was good and fresh. The chef prepares & get your order to the table. Much appreciated! The service is quick. Portion is good. Seating is quaint but spacious. We had good experience on a very busy day just before Christmas. Recommended!“
“I thought the food was good. I got 3 flour tacos and I thought they were really good. They are kind of bland but I kind of like that authentic taste. My boyfriend got a sampler and he said everything was so tiny he didn’t really taste it. I was kind of shocked with how much it cost to eat there. The Spanish rice is ok, I probably would try the cilantro lime rice next time. The refried beans were pretty good too. Overall I would go back and get the ground beef tacos again. Just very pricey.“
“Taco Bell who? I’m new to working downtown…a few months ago I strolled my way to the 2nd fl of Strawberry Square… I looked at Taco Bell to my right and looked at Santa Fe taco factory straight ahead. I love tacos and figured let me try it from a different restaurant…Let’s just say….I haven’t been to TB since!!“
“I really liked coming here. Great authentic place. The service could have been better but they were definitely trying their best with only 3 employees. You can watch them make your food, we were at the West Shore Farmers Market where we watched one person prep all the ingredients, one person cook, and one person taking all the orders. We got the Empanadas and Taquitos. Everything we got was only $14 for the both of us and we couldn't finish all of it. Both could have used more flavor, but that hot sauce is soooo good they top everything with the red sauce (it's very spicy) but it made everything better. Overall, good food, and made me feel good eating local!Ps- loved their sign giving you the directions to the nearest taco bell ?“
“The Cowboy Crunch was amazing. The people are really friendly. The only downside is the seating. They only have booths. I am a large person, and I don't fit in them. If they just had one or two tables, that would be great.Parking: They don't have too many spaces to park. I'm afraid that on a busy day, people will have to park a distance from the restaurant.“
“I have had 2 negative experiences here but for the most part this Taco Bell has been better than most I have been to. 1 of the 2 times they made it right the other time the manager told then worker to get to work when I was just sitting st the drive thru. So yeah good place.“
