“Someone said in the reviews that the steak and cheese was the worst..... well you haven't had all steak and cheese subs then! This is about the only place I'll eat a steak and cheese sub! And it's not on a hot dog roll. That's false. It's on a steak roll.This sandwich is loaded with cheese! The steak isn't full of nasty gristle like other places. This is me and my guy friend's "go- to" when we come here..... or the sloppy joe.As a business owner, I understand it's hard to compete, especially with chain restaurants, when it comes to pricing. I'd rather spend a little bit extra to give to a mom and pop any day than to support some nasty McDonald's.Portions are great here. You'll leave stuffed. But don't skip dessert. She's got the best around.“

“I stumbled into this place by chance and was surprised by the reasonable price, but I was honestly disappointed with the taste. The steak was a little tough and not warm, and the shrimp were about the same price as fried food. The view over the golf course was nice.“

“What do I recommend about Mike’s place?? Everything!! I’ve heard a lot of talk about this place, and one day a good friend of mine and I rode our motorcycles out to here. To say the least I was not disappointed one bit. The food was excellent in taste and very reasonably priced! I will most definitely be returning to dine here, and it usually takes more than one visit for me to decide to become a consistent customer but mikes place nailed it! If you haven’t been here yet, you are definitely missing out on atmosphere quality and reasonable prices!“

“WOW! What a find. We just happened to find this place on a Google search since we were going to be in the Bedford Pa area and wanted to have a nice breakfast. The photos on Google maps made it look like a very nice, clean place and they were completely accurate. Breakfast was great! Coffee was freshly ground. The manager talked with us for a while and we really liked her. Altogether a great experience and we'll definitely go back when we are in that area again.“

“We spent most of our evening at the lobby bar with Hope until it was time for her to close up then we ventured to the frontier tavern. Hope was so knowledgeable and you could tell she was an expert mixologist. She made us the most amazing drinks and they all tasted so good! Highly recommend stopping by for a cocktail!! The tavern was beautiful, dim lit and quiet; perfect for our couples escape for a night cap. The bartender made me a very tasty drink! Must stop by and experience the ambience!!“

“We enjoyed a quaint, quiet atmosphere here where we could hear each other's conversations! The 14 oz steak boneless steak was delicious along with the scrumptious steak sauce and truffle fries. The seating on the couch area was difficult as we had to sit near the edge of it to reach our table. It put a strain on our backs, but otherwise, it was a memorable time . I would recommend a meal here, but be ready to pay top dollar !Parking: Our car was parked 3' from where we got out.“
