“As fairly new residents of Johnstown, we found out about Scott's by Dam through co-workers who raved about the food. They were right. Everything we had was great. The menu has a lot to offer. The place isn't big by any stretch of the imagination but as soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted like old friends by Scott. He came by our table to check on us several times during our meal and cracked some jokes and interacted with all of his customers. What was especially endearing was the way he interacted with a mom and her young daughter who came in to pickup an order to go. They were obviously regulars and Scott leaned down and handed the little girl a bag of potato chips and she lit up. Scott and his wife are huge supporters of the Johnstown Tomahawks so it's nice to have a local family owned business that cares about the community. We will definitely be back!“

“Eel was delicious. Seaweed salad had an interesting flavor, though best taken in small doses. The fried rice wasn't light or heavy but more of a medium. Rough flavors, in a pleasant way. A bit peppery. But I like pepper. The mushroom soup was light and delicate. Delicious. Well balanced. Like a thin soup or a broth. Try it.“

“As far as cool locations go, this is probably THE COOLEST locale i have ever seen. Beautiful giant windows looking out over the city of Johnstown, which is actually very green, leafy and a bit gritty (in a good way) all at the same time. They have a great bar, there was live music last night in the bar, and it sounded fantastic. Our server was Jane, and she was a very good sport (obnoxious brother with us), and a VERY good server. Drinks came out promptly, and were made perfectly by a bartender who knows his craft...our food was delicious, you sometimes worry you are trading breathtaking views for mediocre food, but that is NOT the case at Asiagos. From the salads, to the pasta, everything was top notch. Westmont (where our party all hail from but now live elsewhere) is LUCKY to have this charming establishment and i hope its there for a long long time so we an enjoy a great meal whenever we come home to visit.“

“I go out to eat for good food. Great food is served here. It’s not in a terrific neighborhood, he was only taking cash, and the restaurant is dated. So? Visit and eat, you won’t be disappointed. We had the chicken parm and gnocchi, was great. Some people next to us raved about the lasagna. The price and portions are beyond fair and generous. Keep it up sir, we’ll be back!“

“As iconic as the floods of Johnstown, Murphys wings are a must have. For 30 plus years I have eaten and had libations at Murphys and I think every single time I was greeted by the owner. Not in many places does that happen.This is not a franchise, it stands for the hard work and dedication that this town was built on. You get the sense that you are back in the hey dey of the mills when you stop by as everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and unassuming. There is not a word I can say that describes Murphys but there aren't enough words to say how good it is.“

“Great food, only gave 3 stars for the service because when it came time to leave our waitress was nowhere to be found. Only did 4 on the food but it was because of the water, not the food. It tasted like really bad tap water, we both felt a little off when leaving.“

“Went to Tulune’s for brunch, and it did not disappoint. Keith greeted us upon arrival and personally checked in many times during our meal. Not only was the food (pictured below) delicious, the service was excellent. Our waitress made sure to be extra accommodating with our children and was very attentive/helpful. “We went there one late evening and was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was great... Soups, salads, and fruits were yummy. Staff was amazing, so friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and they are open until 11pm, but the buffet closes at 9pm.“

“We both had the soup flight for our first visit. It was delicious comfort food. The grilled cheese was on point.Kelley was our server and she was awesome! “Delivery was late. When I called to find out where the delivery was I was told that it had already been delivered. Needless to say, it had not. I spoke with the "Manager" Rose who is very rude abrupt and very condescending. Needless to say I will think long and hard about even going to Capri's to dine in let alone delivery that's all the question. “This little 'mom n pop shop' has been around for decades, and the quality of their food never disappoints. The bread they use on their subs is easily the best bread I've ever had on a sub... crispy outside, soft inside... its really just perfect.If you've never stopped at Clark's for a sub, you are missing out. Get over there and order a turkey, or italian, or even a ham sub... you won't regret it.“

“Best of the best of the freaking best. Ranch is a 12/10 in goodness. Crust is perfection . I don't even like marinara but I could literally drink theirs. Don't ever place an order without the cheesy bread sticks. You'll highly regret it. Pizza man is now our Friday night spot. Every. Single. Weekend.I have had a favorite pizza since I was a kid but Pizza Man knocked my favorite right out of the water.“

“This was our first time at TAP 814. I cannot not start this review off without saying how good the service was. This being our first visit, we asked a LOT of questions, and our server, was extremely patient and accommodating. My brother even ordered a to-go meal, which came out very quickly. Their portions are HUGE, and you will go home satisfied. I’m not a huge drinker, but the beer and spirits selection has a wide variety and there is something for everyone.“

“I would like to thank The Crows Nest for letting us have a room for our annual get together for my memorial for my husband, Officer Lloyd Reed Jr, who was shot and killed in the line of duty. “I always have great service here and the food is always excellent. The staff are super nice and very friendly. The menu is typical sushi, made the way it's supposed to be, and fresh. I recommend this place for everyone that enjoys sushi. Great place for a date, a special occasion, or any occasion really. Not too fancy you have to dress up, but nice enough if you were dressed up, you wouldn't feel out of place.“

“Was passing through the Johnstown area . I seen the Em’s sub sign . I had to stop and get a seafood sub with provolone and jalapeños. Wow! Absolutely delicious. My first seafood sub since they had left Altoona, and that was along time ago. My plan was to save half for the lunch the next day . I toasted it in 5 minutes. ?“

“It's been quite a few years since we've been to Pappy's so wasn't sure what to expect this visit. The food was delicious and actually very very cheap (less than $40 for 2 adults and 1 kid for 3 full meals with sides and drinks) and the portions are way more than anyone could possibly eat alone. 2 of us got the chicken parm and the other got chick alfredo and all 3 of us had enough left over to have a second full meal each. The service was very exceptional, with wait staff being very friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Leah, checked on our meals and drinks at perfect times where none of us were waiting for drinks or anything else we might have needed. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable even when they were almost packed full of customers. We also spent some time in the arcade which I can remember being much bigger when I was a kid going there but then again we went to a restaurant not an arcade.
