“Great place! The service is outstanding, food is high quality (portions are not big but everything is fresh and flavorful), the place is comfortable and the atmosphere is inviting. Had the baked haddock which was fantastic, shrimp and spinach pasta which was a delight and the dish of the day. Large wine menu, beer available too. Recommend!“

“Grew up here in town. Always having parties and get togethers. Beautiful interior with pure Windber Nostalgia. Plus the pizza and bread are the second best in Windber. They've been there since the 60s so somethings gotta be right!!Parking: Small Lot but plenty of auxiliary spots with a free library a half a block away..Kid-friendliness: They will accommodate any child no matter the situation. And even cut their food up if they are fussy. Love these Servers..Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and good spots for handicapable people to easily access.“

“Couldn't be Happier! Had a Wonderful 90th Birthday party for my Father! The owners and staff went out of their way to make sure we had OUTSTANDING customer service! The owner was just so sweet and the staff so kind and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. Definitely 10/10 for service and the food was WONDERFUL! “Went there today for lunch and found an absolute gem of a place. The owner was attentive and very friendly. The bar had regular patrons who brought the place to life. The food was excellent. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The owner even shook our hands before we left. Live an hour from there but will be back again.“

“Eel was delicious. Seaweed salad had an interesting flavor, though best taken in small doses. The fried rice wasn't light or heavy but more of a medium. Rough flavors, in a pleasant way. A bit peppery. But I like pepper. The mushroom soup was light and delicate. Delicious. Well balanced. Like a thin soup or a broth. Try it.“

“Been to Boulevard Grill several times and it’s always a pleasant. This time, we got to sit upstairs in the covered terrace area and it was really nice on a sunny Spring day. Food was good as always. Service is a tad slow but since we were not in a rush, it was all good. I am sure we will be back next time we visit the area.“

“I go out to eat for good food. Great food is served here. It’s not in a terrific neighborhood, he was only taking cash, and the restaurant is dated. So? Visit and eat, you won’t be disappointed. We had the chicken parm and gnocchi, was great. Some people next to us raved about the lasagna. The price and portions are beyond fair and generous. Keep it up sir, we’ll be back!“

“If you are in Johntown for visiting or you live in the area put aside a lunch or dinner to get this place. I've lived in Florida my whole life with authentic Spanish food everywhere you could go. I tried taco trucks. Dominican food. El Salvadoran food. All around good flavored food. And Ja Jalisco is ONE OF THE TOP 3 Mexican food I have ever had. Arguable for number 1 Mexican place. It's a close tie with Cilantro Tacos in Gainsville Florida. This place has better meats, better quality tortillas (corn and flour). Better quality sauces for the burritos and tacos. The salsa is a little more cilantro heavy so keep in mind. But the main items and food brings this place to my number 1 spot. Never would I think it tastes better microwaved but THIS MEXICAN FOOD IS AMAZING REHEATED!!!“

“Went to Tulune’s for brunch, and it did not disappoint. Keith greeted us upon arrival and personally checked in many times during our meal. Not only was the food (pictured below) delicious, the service was excellent. Our waitress made sure to be extra accommodating with our children and was very attentive/helpful. “As iconic as the floods of Johnstown, Murphys wings are a must have. For 30 plus years I have eaten and had libations at Murphys and I think every single time I was greeted by the owner. Not in many places does that happen.This is not a franchise, it stands for the hard work and dedication that this town was built on. You get the sense that you are back in the hey dey of the mills when you stop by as everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and unassuming. There is not a word I can say that describes Murphys but there aren't enough words to say how good it is.“

“This little 'mom n pop shop' has been around for decades, and the quality of their food never disappoints. The bread they use on their subs is easily the best bread I've ever had on a sub... crispy outside, soft inside... its really just perfect.If you've never stopped at Clark's for a sub, you are missing out. “We went there one late evening and was pleasantly surprised. The buffet was great... Soups, salads, and fruits were yummy. Staff was amazing, so friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and they are open until 11pm, but the buffet closes at 9pm.“

I spoke with the "Manager" Rose who is very rude abrupt and very condescending. “I would like to thank The Crows Nest for letting us have a room for our annual get together for my memorial for my husband, Officer Lloyd Reed Jr, who was shot and killed in the line of duty. Their service to us was terrific! Our waitress was very good! The food was great, especially the chicken tenders, that went over well and quickly. “Was passing through the Johnstown area . I seen the Em’s sub sign . I had to stop and get a seafood sub with provolone and jalapeños. Wow! Absolutely delicious. My first seafood sub since they had left Altoona, and that was along time ago. My plan was to save half for the lunch the next day . I toasted it in 5 minutes. ?“

“It's been quite a few years since we've been to Pappy's so wasn't sure what to expect this visit. The food was delicious and actually very very cheap (less than $40 for 2 adults and 1 kid for 3 full meals with sides and drinks) and the portions are way more than anyone could possibly eat alone. 2 of us got the chicken parm and the other got chick alfredo and all 3 of us had enough left over to have a second full meal each. The service was very exceptional, with wait staff being very friendly and attentive. Our waitress, Leah, checked on our meals and drinks at perfect times where none of us were waiting for drinks or anything else we might have needed. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable even when they were almost packed full of customers. We also spent some time in the arcade which I can remember being much bigger when I was a kid going there but then again we went to a restaurant not an arcade.
