“The Italian American Club in Export is a great social club. They have a Great Bar and the drinks are very inexpensive. They have a head cook that does an excellent job and prepares Great Food. The New Menu is reasonably priced and there are Food Specials every day. They also have a Sunday Brunch with $2.00 Mimosa's every Sunday.“
“I used to go to Penn Monroe in the 90s in Monroeville and someone recently told me that Penn Murry was started by a few of the ex employees. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and everyone was very friendly. I will be going back again soon!“
“You’re missing out if you haven’t tried Sforno’s yet. The staff is super nice and pleasant, the interior of the restaurant makes you feel at home, and the food is AMAZING! Try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed. Jeannette needed a restaurant like this.“
“Steve and Jenn are amazing owners and hosts. The foods are amazing and new dishes are frequently added. The pasta is made right on site and definitely makes a difference. The wine choices are premium without the exorbitant prices. The guests are treated like family and you will fill like a couch is warm and waiting for you after your last bite.Visit once and it will not be your last.“
“Stopped here for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Server was attentive, food was hot and fresh and atmosphere was relaxed. We had a large pizza and some sandwiches. Appreciated that there was a vegetarian sandwich option and that the menu was simple and easy to figure out. They know what they do best there and they keep it at that. Something I admire.“
“My wife wanted a date night. I found Olives and Peppers online. It was our first time there. I did make a reservation, (thanks to a review) we were seated immediately. With in minutes our waitress was there ready to serve. After ordering cocktails, we ordered appetizers, zucchini plants and burrata cheese, it was a great start, so tasty. My wife had steak and mushroom Gorgonzola, I stayed with Italian and tried the lasagna. This meal was old school Italian cuisine. The portions were large. Our taste buds enjoyed the experience.,The wedding soup was top notch. Thank you Rebecca for making our date night memorable. We will be back and we will definitely brag about our experience at Olives and Peppers to our friends and family.“
“I don't think I have ever had a bad experience in the 6 or so times I've went. The food is always amazing and the service is wonderful. It doesn't take very long to get your dinner after ordering. Overall, great place for a semi-formal dining experience.“
“We are new to town, our son just started attending School here. We found DeGinnaro’s on google and this resto was fabulous. Tons of yummy food-you won’t leave hungry! Very authentic Italian-the green beans, the chicken parm and the cod fish were 10/10. Jimmy and Timmy have great people skills and are obviously having fun! Make sure you check it out!“
“Went to Fontanas for a bite out and to hear our favorite duo, "Let's Duet." Got chicken wings, fries, & fried pickles. Everything was very good! Quick service and the food came out quick and hot, despite it being busy. Also had Ellicottville blueberry beer on tap....delish! It's a small bar with maybe 12 tables and some seats at the bar. Nice local watering hole! Glad we came and hope to stop by again!! Give it a try.“
“A group of us were going to a concert at The Palace in Greensburg and this restaurant was recommended as a place to get dinner beforehand. We all were very impressed. They have an extensive menu, with pasta, pizza, burgers, sandwiches, wings, all kinds of appetizers, soups, wonderful things! Drinks included wine, beer and soft drinks. The portions were plentiful, everyone enjoyed what they ordered and the service was exceptional. I’ll definitely stop by there again when I’m in town for a show.“
“I've been going to Valozzi's for years, so I know the drill with pricing. But $50+ for a crab cake w a few asparagus spears is high in Chicago, let alone Greensburg. There weren't many entre options under $40. The $14 calamari appetized was way too salty (I have a very high tolerance for salt, so...)- we mentioned this but didn't get much empathy/feedback. The wine by the glass options were disappointing- not expending them to crack a new bottle of Caymus for 2 glasses, but washing down that $55 crab cake with wine from a $15 retail bottle is disappointing. The best value here has always been the pizza- but we were looking for a nice dinner out to sit down and explore some interesting main courses. The place was fairly empty, but we were seated at a small table against the wall (route 30 was immediately behind the wall outside that table leaned against) despite having reservations. Our waiter was nice, and I'm sure we should have complained more/asked to move/asked for the inedible calamari to be taken off our bill. But I didn't have the energy on a Fri. night so I guess shame on me. Unfortunately, we probably won't be back- spending over $150 with one of us having pizza (+2 glasses of sub-par wine) is not the best choice. Sadly, there aren't many good choices left if you are looking to avoid the big box, processed food choices like Olive Garden and Red Lobster in this area.“
“I’m always pleased with my meal at John Anthony’s. On this visit I had the John D Sandwich - fried eggplant and chicken on a hoagie roll topped with marinara, cheese, and John Anthony peppers, and it was terrific. The only problem was it was so big that I couldn’t finish it, so I brought the rest home. My wife had eggplant parmigiana and she was very pleased with it. But the hit of the table was my friend’s Buffalo Chicken Calzone. That will be on my short list of choices on my next visit.Dietary restrictions: One friend at the table has to be gluten free, and she was very pleased with the number of gluten free options and her dinner.“
“Four Stars overall, 5 stars for their pizza. All of Giannillis food is very good and reasonably priced. Their pizza, in my opinion, is among the best in Greensburg. It is made with dough that I consider traditional pizza dough. I enjoy the whole pie, including the crust.“
“Went here on St Patrick's Day after a show at The Palace Theater place was very busy good thing we had reservations and got seated immediately. Food was amazing we had bruchetta appitizer and lasagna both were excellent. We will definitely be back again.“
“The food was delicious and the atmosphere was wonderful. We dined in for lunch and it was cozy, not crowded, and the service was great. The food was good! We got the Cajun shrimp pizza and one of the samplers. We left full and happy!Parking: There are two lots, one next to the building and an additional lot across the street. Street parking available as well!“
“Celebrated my son's 18th Birthday at Anthony's in Monroeville with family. We weren't disappointed. Friendly and attentive Manager and staff. Ordered appetizers, salads and a variety of pizza's. The food was delicious with high quality ingredients. Would definitely recommend!“
“I'm from east pgh. And this pizza is just like vinnies...big toppings tons of cheese and the sauce is awesome the crust is great just all around gold...the hoagies, salads everything here is 110% delicious you definitely get what you pay for!!!...comfortis please don't change a thing!!!“
“Lou has been making the best pizza's on the east cost for well over 40 years in this same town, and the consistency now is the same as it was over 30 years ago, DELICIOUS. The crust is perfectly crafted to never be soggy and never overdone. The italian sausage is homemade and the quality is impeccable. He's a one man show in the kitchen and applies the same care to each and every pizza served from his shop. For real, delicious, and high quality pizza this is the real deal.“
“Stopped in as it was recommended by some locals. I ended up getting my food to go, but they had plenty of seating and TVs. The staff I engaged was friendly and helpful. I ordered wings and they hit the spot! I will definitely be back and will order the wings again, although next time I will get some pizza to go with it.“
“The owner of this establishment is one of the best people I know. It’s not just a product to Bill. It’s his passion, with Over 30 years in the food industry, Grand Slam pizza provides quality and the perfect ambiance for your family. I recommend highly. Joe “
“We were in town for a hockey tournament, and looking for a place for dinner. This place is a gem. Great wait staff, and a quiet ambiance for conversation. Not a big place, but just the right size for date night or if you want to have conversation at dinner. Food was served fresh, bonus points for having fresh pasta!“
“We had dinner there last night with our family. Our family style dinner included chicken and peppers, chicken parmesan, manicotti, soup, and salad. Everything was excellent and generous portions. The waitress was very attentive. We are looking forward to our next visit to LaVitas, a small, welcoming, family style restaurant where it takes you back to dinner at Grandma's. It's a hidden gem in the heart of Greensburg.“
“Always ordered take out from giannilli's 2 all these years and finally went in and sat down for dinner. Had some simple wedding soup, salads, crab stuffed mushrooms - and of course a pizza to go! All the food is always incredible! Oh that sauce! ??“
“Being born and living in Texas I had my favorite restaurants on being a Italian restaurant being Antonio's now that I'm living here in Pennsylvania I have found my new favorite restaurant being so similar in everything that Antonio's has to offer I can honestly say that this is the Best ♥️“
“My wife's favorite overall pizza, and my favorite local football pizza (don't know what football pizza is? Google one bite pizza reviews with El Prez). The thing about pizza is, that they are like snowflakes and all different. Folks are always trying to figure out who is the "best" but the reality is that pizza that you love is the "best for you". That's why there are so many out there. But you can't go wrong with Brooklyn's and I'm SOOO glad that they are back. We usually order the XL 3-topping with pepperoni and half mushroom half sausage because that magically appeases everyone in the house. The reason that I mention it is that I find sausage on pizza to be very hit or miss and Brooklyn's hits.Recently got a steak sub as well and I'll be ordering it again. Real steak, great roll...worth a try. Finally, the owners and the workers are super nice and friendly and always make you feel welcome when you stop to pick up. I mention this because, let's be honest, we've had places in PT that haven't always given us that and it's worth noting.Sorry that I forgot to take a pic, I'll update the next time that we order...which will be soon. Thanks Brooklyn's!“
“Very nice place for my son's end of season football banquet. Staff was friendly and attentive. Place was very clean and decorated real nice for the Christmas season. Only complaint was the little dabs of food they served you. There were little roasted potatoes you were allowed 2 of and Alfredo noodles that they put maybe 6 on your plate and if you ask for more they make sure to only scoop 3 more noodles on to your plate.“
“Stopped here to fuel our desire for something non chain Italian.Nice ambiance. Bar sits next to the restaurant seating area which doesn't bother us but we note this because some are bothered by such an arrangement. The menu is pretty stocked with loads of well described offerings. We opted for the stuffed shells, the fettuccine Alfredo, and a steak and cheese hoagie (my kids always go against the grain). Our waitress brought out dinner rolls while we waited for our entrées. They were absolutely delicious. The entrées arrived and we ordered the large portions of each meal we had. The steak and cheese was easily a foot long and was well portioned with meat and a bountiful amount of cheese. The fettuccine Alfredo was tasty even minus the chicken or shrimp that was optional. The cheese stuffed shells were good as well. Paid $1.00 for extra sauce and I would honestly pass on doing that again. It was great sauce but - I just didn't see what extra was in my extra sauce.Great value for the menu offerings here. Solid tasty food.“
“Great food and great service. Workers are polite, energetic and friendly and great you with a smile here. This place is the best restaurant, eat in, order out, in the area. Food is great! I've had all thier dishes and everyone of them is delicious and not missing anything. Most of all its the attitude and level of service they meet here. This is missing in alot of places these days but they still treat customers nicely, which is very important! Thank you everyone! Over all the shops in Haymaker Village, PaPa Rocks takes it, ? % hands down, the best in the business ?Kid-friendliness: Great for kids Bithday parties“
“Needed a place for dinner while staying in Greensburg. It seemed to have positive reviews on here so I went. And it was very good. Very nice staff and everything was spot on and kept my somewhat healthy diet going strong. I will be back one of these days.“
“We visited after the restaurant reopened under new ownership. I enjoyed my caesar salad and gnocchi. My husband ordered the Margherita pizza and it came with powdered cheese all over instead of the traditional style. The menu didn't indicate this. Also when we visited there were no vegetable sides which seemed odd.“
“I just finished leftovers from last night’s take out order. The original order, and the reheated leftovers were delicious. Matter of fact, I honestly cant say which was better. The whole experience, from calling in my order to pick up was excellent. I’d love to know who was chef, so i can specifically order from you again. Great job Palmeri’s!!! I’m looking forward to eating your food again!“
“First time we ordered from here. We got the veggie pizza with white sauce and a Sicilian with pepperoni and mushrooms. While the Sicilian could have used a little more sauce, both pizzas were excellent. Fresh mushrooms! Veggie pizza had lots of cheese and fresh onions, peppers, tomatoes and onions. Delivery driver was so friendly and exactly on time. We will order again!“
