“Merriam-Websters collegiate dictionary defines hospitality as the following:": the activity or business of providing services to guests in hotels, restaurants, bars, etc."Hospitality is the bare minimum of what I received during the shift that Jessica and Kathleen worked. I would say the shift wasn't excellent, I would say it was perfect. I would say that this bar doesn't set the bar for service when these two work, I would say it is the measuring stick that the bar (on a limbo level) needs to be set at.Not only did the (beautiful by the way) bartenders make me feel welcome, they made me feel like family. I honestly couldn't imagine another place I'd rather be on a Monday night. Home? For what? A disappointing evening of marital stress and ultimate regret? I'd rather be here, at a place where like Norm, Sam and Diane in another town many years before established a repor where everybody truly knows your name. And it's not just the service. The food. The creative specials along with the iconic staples keep this bar hip and fresh. 20/10. Chef Alan kills it.But overall, this is the place you need to be. I'll probably come back. I'll probably bring a friend or two. But if I don't, I want my review etched in the halls of history long after we are all gone, this is the place to be. These are the people to see. They say to be the man you have to beat the man - find me a bar better, find me a bar that beats this place, and I'll try it.“
“Before I start the review, just wanted to state I found this place randomly. The customer service was incredible. There is no sit down eating but we ate in the car. The food was so amazing that we didn't take pictures. Had 2 lobster Rolls, soup and fried shrimp. Everything was delicious.“
“We are impressed by everything!! Being a customers for more then 4 years, these guys always can surprise us. The best quality and service!!! Especially,Thanks to Max..amazing, kind, polite young gentleman!!! He always creates something to please his clients. Good job, guys!! Keep up to good work.“
“This place lives up to its name, the sea food is good and they do serve snow crab legs and their not afraid to put them out there unlike other places, most of the food is hot or warm very rare to get any cold food here.Parking: It's a big parking lot at a small shopping center, had space for at least 100 cars.“
“Haven't been here in years. Everything we had in our takeout order was great. Seafood combo and a Baltimore crabcake sandwich. I got an order of onion rings priced as your typical side, but it was huge! Enough for 3 people. We were also pleasantly suprised at the prices. Very reasonable for seafood. Sorry I haven't been back sooner. I highly recommend. The food, the prices, the service and all in a timely fashion, excellent. I'll be back for sure.“
“I heard a lot about Jules@market. When the house jazz band was scheduled we took the opportunity to check it out. The ambiance was great. A subtitled film noir projected against one wall while the jazz trio played against the opposite wall. We loved that. There’s an open kitchen design which really works in an otherwise tight space. One small minus is that it could be vented better. I came home smelling like food. Having said that, the food was exceptionally good. I read some reviews that spoke about small portions. My response is- if you want tonnage, eat fast food or at a chain restaurant. Jules@market is not that. Everything was fresh and on point. One drawback- most restaurants that offer sparkling bottled water also offer flat. I was surprised that Aqua Panna wasn’t available but Pelligrino was available. We don’t drink tap water so I was forced to drink carbonated water which isn’t the greatest for my stomach. Had I known I would have brought my own. Now the service- the staff was super friendly. I left over 20% because of this. But, to put it bluntly they need training. The food is great, the prices are high, the ambiance is amazing. The service should match but it doesn’t. I’m being specific in this review because I love that Bristol is changing and growing and want this restaurant to really really succeed. So here are my comments:1) when people put utensils together to the side it indicates they are finished and the plate can be removed. When it is open and food remains don’t ask to take the plate. 2) Remove all dirty dishes promptly- out bread dishes and used butter stayed on the table the entire meal 3) clear the table before bringing dessert. Looking at dirty dishes while eating the most perfect key lime pie detracts from the experience. 4) timing could be better. We waited 25 minutes for our appetizers and then waited again for a side after being served our main courses at separate times. Have someone follow the server and put the entire course down together. 5) Not once were our water glasses refilled by staff. We poured the Pelligrino ourselves 6) Never bring the plastic bus bins onto the floor to clear a table. That’s for diners, not nice restaurants. Use a tray to remove dishes if need be.I eat at high end restaurants and the service makes the night. That’s why we tip and don’t get take out, we like to relax and have a pleasant experience. I’d love to come back and have the amazing food ( worth every Penny) and have the service be more on point. The food is perfect, fresh, tasty, excellent presentation. The staff couldn’t be friendlier- really lovely people. The ambiance is great, quaint and inviting. I gave a five star because I think the service just needs a little tweak.UPDATE: After posting my review I was contacted by a man saying he was the general manager. I’m not sure how he got my phone number but I wish he would not have called. He was positively berating me about how my review was damaging, he had 15 people to keep on payroll, his family was from Bristol, and I just wrote the review to benefit myself. I could barely respond. He was erratic and attacking. It was off putting considering my teenage son was in the car as he wouldn’t let up and was on speaker. At first I tried speaking with him. I felt my review was good, fair, and spoke very highly about everything except the service- which others have critiqued similarly here on google review. After five minutes of him venting I was still trying to make things right and asked if I could make a suggestion. His response was very rude. He said,” if you make it quick.” At that point I realized that whatever is going on in his life- he decided to take it out on me. I was done. I said,” Never mind. Have a good day.”I later heard that the jazz house band who I was seen talking to was fired and told that I complained about the music. That’s absurd and a lie. They were fired as some sort of weird retribution or maybe they can’t afford to pay them anymore and used me as a scapegoat. Either way this restaurant is not managed properly.“
“This place is amazing. I being there multiple time and it gets better every time. Ben was our server this time and he was super friendly and giving us really good recommendations. Drinkings were on point and the service is top notch. I will definitely go back.“
“We have been looking for a place equivalent to Lilly’s in Glenside, since they are closed. I think when they open back up, we are still going to come to this place. Their tikka masala sauce is to die for and their mango chef special sauce is just amazing with so many flavors happening in the mouth. Prices are decent and quality and consistency is A+++Two time customer and we’ll be back. My husband has high expectations for food - it’s hard to find places that he likes enough to go back. This has definitely impressed him. Can’t wait to come back again soon!!Vegetarian options: We got the Paneer Tikka Masala and the Mango Veg Chef Special. Very nice mix of vegetables and they are tender and not obnoxious like most vegetarian options at other venues. The Aloo Papri Chaat is only $5 and is citrusy and savory flavorful at the same time.“
“I’ve been going here for years with my wife. Great food and good prices. It’s always nice to support a Muslim business.Dietary restrictions: My wife can only have dairy free and they’ve always accommodated her and her preferences. And the food doesn’t taste any less great!“
“Our server Ella was great, she took initiative to bring champagne glasses with her when greeting our table and followed with an ice bucket for our bottle with out being asked. She was knowledgeable about the menu and followed up frequently throughout our meal. The courses arrived quickly for service at 7pm on a Friday night. The food good. Suggestions would be for crostini or crackers with the antipasta and tuna tartar.“
“Bacio strikes again! Kudos to our friends Pam and Chef Robert! Thier pre-cooked Valentine's Day Dinner for 2 was amazing! From the salads all the way thru to the desserts, every course was fantastic. And the best part is that the portions were large enough that we will switch our entrees and get another full meal out of it! Thanks again for a great dinner!“
“had dinner with family tonight. My Po-Boy was outstanding. I appreciated the fries which were crispy (I prefer fries which break when folded) We also had fried shrimp, and a shrimp/clam platter. We left very satisfied, and hope to come back some time“
“A great family run business. The pub seems to be clean and well maintained. A great selection of beer with some rare beer options. The food was surprisingly good with huge portion sizes and decently priced. Staff was friendly and attentive. A great place for food and/or drinks“
“We have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Food comes out piping hot.Servers are well educated on the menu and are always in a great mood. Kennedy was so friendly and attentive to our needs. Juliana the hostess is tremendous and Danielle the manager keeps the restaurant working harmoniously.Parking: Park near the Gap it’s a short walkKid-friendliness: Large dinner areas with tables in nooks and crannies to allow for all ages to enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Facility is ADA Compliant“
“It was great, from the staffs to the food, everything was splendid, and it did in fact exceed my expectations! The wait time was fast and so was the atmosphere around me. If you would want a quiet place with some aesthetic, this would be the place for sure!“
“Came here today on my birthday 4/23 at random since golden Corral was packed googled food near by found them.. Was definitely a pleasant surprise the service was awesome quick and friendly not to mention the food was great highly recommend comeing here i know we will definitely become regulars“
“Born and raised in Philly and this is the best cheesesteak I've ever had. Absolute must try if you want a cheesesteak in Bucks County. I can only imagine how good the Seafood must be. Family owned small business. I will be recommending to everybody I know. 10/10“
“Hey there! Thanks for letting me join you on this food truck journey. I must say, I'm impressed with the attention to detail in your food truck. Everything looks so fresh and delicious. It's like a feast for your taste buds.I love how you take pride in using only the freshest ingredients and cooking everything from scratch. It's clear that you put a lot of love and attention into every bite of your food. That's what sets you apart from other food trucks out there. So, if you're looking for the best food truck in Philadelphia, my vote goes to This is the king gyro food truck. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!“
“For the second year in a row, we hosted our family reunion dinner for 30 people in the China Wok's lovely event room on a Saturday evening. Everything was perfect due to owner Lin's attention to detail. She met in advance with me to plan the menu, taking into consideration our budget, dietary preferences, and the mixed age group of 2 months to 97 years. The decor was pretty, the servers were pleasant and helpful, our guests loved the food! The platters came out looking as visually pleasing as they were tasty. Nothing was too much trouble for Lin! We are grateful to the China Wok for the special time we shared with our family there.“
“This was my first visit to the New Olympics House. Last week I received a menu left outside my door. The menu was nicely prepared with beautiful monthly watering pictures. I was impressed by the amount of offerings and also a little worried because some restaurant offer a lot but food it not that good. So my brother and checked out the New Olympia House.Parking (as far as I know is street parking only). We were able to find a spot close to restaurant. We arrived around noon during a weekday. We were greeted by two hostesses and seated immediately. Our waitress greeted us introducing herself (I am sorry I can't remember her name). She spent a lot time going over the menu with us which we appreciated. When our food arrived it was well prepared. I ordered the pull pork sandwich with fries. My brother ordered chicken sandwich. We were both impressed with the size of the sandwiches. The food was delicious. We both left with "doggie bags". My brother ordered a grilled pork crop to take home for dinner. Also there is a bar in the restaurant. Next I visit I will order a beer.“
“It's not a typical strip mall restaurant. We decided last minute to go here and were pleasantly surprised. Arrived just after opening and initially felt under dressed, but after the owner greeted us, we quickly forgot our discomfort as we took in the nicely decorated room and tables. The menu has plenty of options, including a list of specials plus a few items he mentioned that weren't listed but may have been because it was the Friday after Valentine's Day. We opted for the Veal Parm. My husband got the Clams Casino appetizer, which he said was the best he's ever had. The salad with house dressing was packed with veggies along with the lettuce, and the house dressing was definitely not from a bottle. My barley soup was flavorful as was everything we had. The large piece of veal was sliced thin, which may have made it not as tender as it could have been, but I still enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the seasoned mixed veggies I chose instead of the pasta. The tiramisu is a cake version but very good. That and the chocolate cake do have a liquor flavor added to them, which is strong but not overpowering to me, but may be for some. We will definitely return to try something new.“
“We are so happy we came to Mamma Mia for my son’s birthday. The staff treated us like family and all sang happy birthday to him. It was a very special night because of them. The food was delicious, starting with the warm bread. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area!“
“THE BEST CHILAQHILES VERDE I'VE HAD. I've been looking all over the Philly area for a place that makes good chilaquiles, and I finally found it at El Bronco. The steak was well seasoned, the sauce was spicy and had a good amount of vinegar, even the beans were very good. The only reason I can't give this place five stars is because my food that I ordered online wasn't ready until 30 minutes AFTER my pickup window ended. I'd recommend ordering well in advance and counting on a bit of a wait for your food, but I'll definitely be back.“
“Had a wonderful time celebrating my friends birthday at this establishment. There was also another celebration going on, so the rent rooms for special occasions. The food was so good. The staff brought out complimentary tomato bread which was delish. The service was wonderful, and the seating was nice. Now the food....it was so hard to choose all the choices read good. I decided on the Saporita, so good !!! It's also BYOB which is always nice. I definitely recommend this place.“
“We have been visiting this halal cart since they have opened , since 3 years and we have their best and some times not their best as well. Our go to halal cart in town. Their Chicken over rice is amazing, and its even delicious when the chop the chicken into small pieces, thats how I prefer itand thats how I enjoy it to the best. The problem is we end up not getting chicken as requested (small pieces) as they close the grill around 7pm and most of the times we end up going past 8pm.Even for Vegetarian peopletheir falafel are pretty amazing. They arefresh and tasty. Their white sauce is what brings their whole dish together. As we have been to this halal cart handfulnumber of times, i am not going tolies sometimes their food was not up to the quality , may be 2 out of 10times they did not reach the expectations. However this is one of the best halal cart food I have tried and I would keep visiting whenever I crave it for good halal food, which is pretty often once in 2 weeks or once in a month for sure.I just hope their quality of food never falls down. Initially they had 4.8rating, now its like down to 4.6. Hope they get back to top.“
“Legitimately delicious! Authentic flavor and very fresh preparation made us very very happy. The complimentary chips and salsa was delicious, the chips were freshly cooked. The birria and the enchiladas were awesome and the empanadas are top notch.“
“The food was amazing. Seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of everything. I had the fried fish, mac n cheese and collard greens. My husband had the fried fish, potatoe salad and peas and rice. He cant stop talking about it. Can't wait to return and try something else on the menu. Over fifty years of perfection.“
“It’s been a few months since I last ordered from Asian Fresh Kitchen. As they say first impressions last !! The first time I ordered here the food was amazing, the second not so good. Last night feeling under the weather, I decided to give Asian Fresh Kitchen another shot.II ordered General Tso’s chicken, vegetable, lo mein, one shrimp roll, and two orders of chicken on a stick. I ordered on Uber eats and within about 20 minutes the driver arrived. the food was delivered in a paper bag that was sealed. The food was piping hot. I was really impressed with how well it was packaged. To my delight General Tso’s Chicken was moist, savory, spicy and delicious the broccoli was perfect !!! The vegetable lo mein was very tasty ? The noodles were cooked to perfection !! Chicken on the stick was a first for me. I thought that it was Salty, crunchy and very tasty and lastly the shrimp roll was moist and delicious.I’m not sure what happened this past summer when something just seemed to change here but regardless these pictures and this tasty food says that Asian Fresh Kitchen is back on track serving delicious savory Chinese food !! Take a look ? you know your mouth is watering, so do what’s right and make that phone call and order some of this amazing food !!! Well Done Asian Fresh Kitchen !!“
“Had veal parm , they need to make better red sauce. Had a lemon drop martini second time first time priced at 8.50 , tonite 9.00 ? My dinner came with dessert . Chose rice pudding while the taste was excellent the rice was under cooked . I would still eat here . Friendly “
“Excellent Service and Quality with a smile! Our server Dani, was the key to delivering a great experience. Prime Beef, Fresh Shrimp, a perfectly flame-grilled Burger and a garden fresh salad was perfect for our dinner appetites which we enjoyed in the Bar area. Thank you Dani, see you again soon...“
“Generous servings of delicious seafood cooked perfectly. No salt is added to fried food which I absolutely love. Control your own sodium! Not greasy and every bite is heaven! We get the seafood combo the prices are EXCELLENT for the quality. Definitely recommend“
“The food was delicious. I got the fried citrus scallops, crabs cakes, bang bang shrimp, and crab pizza. The bartender Erin was friendly, as was the server John. I highly recommend this place. If this place was by the beach it would make millions.Parking: Nice size parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp may be a little steep for some.“
“My husband and I dined here for the first time, and food was delicious (calamari portico and rabbit), service wonderful and atmosphere very nice in an old fashioned kind of way. They take good care of their customers! We will definitely be back soon!“
“Did some plumbing work for these guys with the previous company I worked for. Being that my wife and I had just moved to Riverside(late 2018), I had always wanted to try this place. Finally got around to it tonight and boy they definetly not disappoint. We ordered take out, food was delivered hot and fresh. Very flavorful, authentic and delicious. We have a 2 pizza spots, a Chinese spot, bar spot and now I have found my go to Mexican restaurant ?. Keep it up guys!!!“
“I've bought fish here several times and it's always good, but today I actually ate their prepared food and a couple oysters. The food we got was great. We got clam strips, the fried shrimp platter, the stuffed blackened salmon platter and 6 oysters. Everything was very good. I would definitely recommend it to scratch that seafood craving itch.“
“I have ordered take out from Melody restaurant for many years now, for a variety of holidays and celebrations. Every single time, the food was incredible beyond words! All my guests have complimented the food every single time. Always very fresh. The dishes are always so comforting and homey. On top of the food being delicious, they are also so well presented that I just put the plate straight onto the table. You can definitely tell that it’s all made with love. Will definitely be ordering from them in the future, highly recommend the same!“
“My boyfriend took me here for Valentines Day and it was spectacularly Beautiful! From the food, to the drinks, was top notch, as well as the service. This is a great place to get away and enjoy some delicious entrees and some delightful sweets. Beautiful atmosphere and a top tier classy Restaurant.“
“GALLO'S has some of the finest seafood in all of northeast Philadelphia. A nice bar setting sets off the main dining area. My wife & I moved & we hadn't been to GALLO'S in 5 years. It was our " go to Friday in Lent " restaurant. When we finally had the opportunity to go back we were not at all surprised that the quality, friendliness, diverse menu & specials HAD NOT CHANGED ONE BIT !!! It's ideal location on Roosevelt Boulevard & Holme Avenue makes it an " easy-to-get-to spot ". If you're looking for excellent seafood & excellent service in a perfect location ... You Need To Try GALLO'S !!!“
“One of the best pizza places around! Longhitano's is a small restaurant that has seating, and good service for dining in. They also have a huge take out business. They may not have as many pizza choices or specialty pizzas as other places but you don't need them. Longhitano's is one of our all time favorites.“
“Nice refreshing change to the everyday lunch. Server was knowledgeable and helpful and patient with my inexperience and questions. She allowed me to sample the marinated tuna, which was nice. I chose the chicken and spicy tuna, and it was enough for 2. I will come back to try the other options next time.“
“Our first time. It was a good experience with polite and congenial people. The food was good . I had the best burger ever there. It was tender and full of flavor with the bang bang sauce. Crab fritata was my husband's choice he loved “
“Stopped in after not being in the neighborhood for many years. This place is still one of , if not the best, local spots to catch a game or have a beer. Tons of TV's, huge bar, ample dining area, and clean bathrooms. I was here pretty early afternoon on a Friday, so not very busy, but the staff was busy prepping for the weekend. I watched them wipe down nearly every surface. Very clean, fresh, nice atmosphere.“
“If I could give more than 5 stars I will, I left the place and was more than happy, the food ,tea , and dessert was perfect. The waitress Delara was so helpful and so was the owner, they were kind to us the whole time. The best I ever tasted ?good luckKid-friendliness: They were so kind with the kids and were playful with my son“
“I’ve been going there for the past three years the food there and the breakfast is delicious. The people are real friendly. It’s a good place to go to with the family. I definitely recommend it to other people.Kid-friendliness: They interact with the kids speak very nice. Specially the gentleman that works here the tall guy. I forgot his name but he’s still unblock. Very nice guy.“
“Cool time hitting up the original Chickie & Pete's! Like the older, smaller, dive bar feel much better than the more modern large scale restaurants. Could be in my head, but the fries seemed fresher and crispier than other locations. Had the roasted pork sandwich - wow, huge and delish! Even grabbed a sweet Chickie's Eagles tee for my girlfriend while there. Oh, and free street parking on Friday early evening was a breeze.“
“Very laid back chill Quiet atmosphere great hospitality and peaceful very much relaxingKid-friendliness: The atmosphere was family kid friendly such a cool spot for everyone plus it's BYOB IF WE CAN HAVE WINE I'm coming EVERY TIME ?“
“Being an Indian, I've tried a lot of Indian/Pakistani food throughout my life. Living in NE Philly brings us a new Indian restaurant every once in a while. Kazi's Tandoor & Grill is a restaurant/caterer that keeps things simple. At least that's what Kazi says. However, there is something addictive about the flavor in their foods. The food seems so simple, yet it's delicious. The secret is the imported spice mix that Kazi uses for his dishes and keeping everything else simple. The restaurant is currently best for takeout and catering orders. The only issue is that the location has no parking, and there is very little room to dine in. The food is priced perfectly for the quantity and quality received, so it attracts so many customers. I usually keep my orders simple by ordering the chicken biriyani, tandoori naan, and chicken tikka masala, but I have tried other entrees, and they are also delicious.“
“My friends and I love coming every month to the wine pairing dinners. Chef comes around and chats with everyone making sure that we are all enjoying our wine and dinner. We’ve been doing this for about a year now and would never miss a month, we really enjoy coming for this event and will continue as everything is always so wonderful making this a full experience each and every time“
“I've ordered from this place a few times now since I moved to the area. It's hard to find decent Chinese food in bucks county, so I was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The food is always good and the things I order are always flavorful. They give you large portions as well. The prices are good too. I have never eaten in this establishment, only take out. So I don't know how the service is.“
“Authentic, delicious, affordable! Fresh, hand-battered shrimp tempura is a rarity these days. The batter is light, crispy, and savory. The house blend tempura sauce is sharp, savory, and enhances the flavor of the tempura. Most other places just fry up frozen tempura or frozen panko breaded shrimp. It's alright, but it can't compete with the authentically made version.Musashi is the real deal. I've been to many Japanese restaurants that are just Chinese restaurants larping as something else. I'm glad Musashi is so close by. Gone are the days of having to drive two hours or cross state borders to find a good Japanese restaurant with Japanese owners. I'm excited to try everything else on the menu!“
