“Great local place! Excellent food! Our server Brian “Flintlock” was the best server ever! He had all our needs met! He even ended up doing the floss dance and the worm for a dance challenge with my kids. What a blast! Beautifully renovated, clean and orderly restaurant. We will be coming back for sure! Homemade Ranch dressing and fresh, hot Philly Cheese Steak. Great wing flavors! Family friendly and fun! Go here!“

“I had a nice evening at Insurrection AleWorks with my family. This place is almost hidden from the main road, and parking is down the road behind the restaurant. The ambiance is dark and a bit underwhelming -- we sat on the patio area that is enclosed with a big plastic tent. However, the food was really delicious. The menu is quite small, just a few pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and wings, but we were all happy with what we ordered. The double-burger was particularly delicious and complimented with chips & salsa on the side. The beer menu just featured four house-made brews, and a few local options on tap and in cans, as well. Overall, the service was pretty good and the experience was nice.“

“One star off for a very small food menu. I'd add fries and flatbreads. Rest was really perfect. Good cider, mead and beer selections. Their own ciders range from extra dry to sweet and provide plenty of variety to make a flight worth it. Friendly service and a usable terrace make it nice for a date night or evening with friends. Prices are reasonable and parking was not an issue on a Thursday night.“

Outdoor deck area for smoking you can bring your drink on the deck just don't walk off the deck with your alcohol. Plenty of parking available and usually a decent crowd.“

“Just started going to the Theme a couple of weeks ago. We were looking for a change of pace and more for our money. The Theme did not disappoint, great drink specials & daily specials. Food is great especially the sandwiches and pizza.“

“When I first started coming here many years ago, even before I actually lived in Pittsburgh, it was my go to coffee shop. The owners really took pride in the shop, it was always clean and the owner and employees were always smiling and knowledgeable about the coffee - not your typical "I'm a barista, so I know better than you" that one experiences in many coffee houses these days. And the coffee was always top notch, obviously the most important point. Fast forward a few years later and it's become a true cafe. A very good menu that changes depending on the season and even day to day. Decided to stop by for brunch because Croque Madame was on the menu. There aren't a lot of tables so it can go fast, but luckily we found a spot at the bar. Even though the cafe was at capacity, it wasn't noisy, and it felt comfortable. I'd usually a great image to come and chill with e coffee. Yes, one can chill with a hot coffee! The main attraction - the Croque Madame - really was amazing. The quality of the cheese and the preparation/cooking were just right. Very much like the time we ate it in Paris many years ago. Full disclosure - I am biased as I've come here for years, except not as much recently, and this is the first time I've actually dined here - always just a latte either to go or sit and read. Been making too since they added a cafe menu, but better late than never! If you come to this cafe you won't be disappointed. I recommend checking the menu first as it does change. But if you see something you typically like, I feel confident you won't be disappointed.“

“The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed. The food was amazing. We had wings, a steak hoagie, and onion rings. The Wings were cooked just right. The bartender and cook were very friendly. Drinks are not expensive. We met the new owner. He thanked us for trying his place out and even bought us a drink.“
