“Been hitting Louie G’s the last couple of weeks and the cheesesteak is on point! Well seasoned meat on an Atlantic City roll! A little crunchy to hold the abundance of meat. The fries (nuggets) are miniature potatoes wedges that are delicious!“

“Fantastic sandwiches and great service! We came in for lunch on a weekday and it was busy. Cash payments give you a discount but they do take card, and there's an ATM inside. We got an anti pasta meatball and two sandwiches. The Paesano (I think it was called? Brisket sandwich) was delicious and mouse but could have used arugula imo. The chicken cutlet special of the day had a fat slice of cheese and vodka sauce and it was sooo good. We were told that the special sandwiches in the winter are a bit heavier than those in the summer. I thought the meatball was really good, tender and not too salty. The sandwich was a little salty. Would definitely come back.“

“We visited Hershel’s East Side Deli which was recommended by Somebody Feed Phil. It was one of our favorites among the trip to Philly. They sliced the meat in a sense of urgency, stacked it with huge amount and it looked extremely satisfying. We had a Our Famous Reuben Sandwich, Daily Soup and Salad Platter Sampler. The portion was huge with reasonable price. There are 4 options for Our Famous Reuben Sandwich and we had Corned Beef. It was satisfying when we saw how thick it was and the texture was pretty moist with refreshing pickles.“

“Great Italian Hoagie spot in the heart of the neighborhood. The Chicken Cutlet is the real deal. They have just enough crunch to it on a worthy Philly hoagie roll. The people here- including owner- are warm and responsive dishin’ out these beauties. Pricing quite reasonable.Thank you guys for breathing fire into an area that needed a for-real hoagie spot. Now easily on the rotation.“

“Mike & Emm’s is a family institution in Delco. The best meatball sandwiches around ( made fresh by hand every day they are open). You can tell they take pride in their work because every sandwich is made with love. My family has been going here for years and it shows because the owners remember you always. They never disappoint!“

“It didn’t taste the same as how they used to taste to me. It’s been a few years since I’d been there. It was missing something. I remember the hoagies being so so good. I don’t know. But it just wasn’t mouth watering like I remember. Service was great. They were nice and friendly. But I’m not giving up that easily. I’ll be back and try them again.“

“We ordered this for our team when we traveled to Philly! They individually packaged the meals and delivered. The service was excellent (right on time, easy communication), and the food was delicious! We will be using them for team orders in the future!“

“Very nice cheesesteak at Big Joe’s! First time here but an instant fan. Generous portions, good quality meat and cheese ratio and very nice people serving things up. And very fair prices. A solid little mom and pop joint near the airport!“

“Anna's is a Ridley landmark. Great sandwiches, great people, enormous portions at very reasonable prices. I see it's up for sale, I wish I could buy it. Cause I'd keep it the way it is and who knows what's gonna happen after it's sold. Get in there to experience it now.“

“I've been here maybe 5 times. They usually take cash. This time a short latina said they "don't take cash, only online".Don't patronize this establishment until they stop discriminating against the unbanked. Terrible service.*Update*Today they took cash so I bumped them up two stars to ? ? ? ? I hadn't come back since the bad service and decided to chance it. Hopefully they will continue to accept cash. ✌️“

“We walked by this cafe and decided to go in for lunch. The sandwiches were tasty and came out fresh, hot, and fast. It is a sandwich cafe, so nothing fancy, but my experience was solid. Think diner food. Also, the people were super nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.“

“Manayunk’s best kept secret deli. I eat in, nothing fancy about dining area (thus the 2 stars). I have only purchased subs & steak sandwiches, both served on the best darn rolls found in Philadelphia I believe. They bring to your table. Both have plenty of meat and or cheese with just the right amount of filler as you ordered. Tucked under the SEPTA overhead tracks, known only by the locals. I found it by pure accident riding the SRT one day and not wanting to be hassled with a long wait to find, be seated, € be served at one of the many restaurants located on the main street. After all, I am only passing through on my bike.“

“Great hole in the wall sandwich shop. It also is like a mini grocery store which is nice. I ordered two subs: one with roast beef and the other with grilled chicken, and both were exemplary. Not S tier subs, but damn near close. The bread was particularly amazing.“

“Was looking for somewhere with breakfast and while they did have a breakfast sandwich I saw the cornmeal crusted fish and fried potatoes on the menu and needed to try it. It was delicious! The fish was cooked perfectly, crunchy on the outside and still juicy on the inside. The potatoes were also great, kind of like chopped up potato skins. Overall very delicious. One recommendation would be to add more sauces to choose from, I was not a fan of the stock sauce.“

“My coworkers and I visited Human Robot and Poe’s Sandwich Joint on a recent work trip to Philly (we have a brewery in Baltimore). Everything was fantastic! We ordered a few sandwiches to share, and they kindly cut them up in smaller portions so we could share more easily. We also got a few orders of loaded fries, which were great for the table. The Italian pork and cheesesteak sandwiches were great, but the Seoul Girl fried chicken sandwich was out of this world. Great combo of flavors and textures. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere! Human Robot also has a dynamic list of both traditional and more more modern beer styles that really hit the spot.“
“This is the first review I've ever written, on any platform! But I feel the insuppressible urge to say this:I bought the Honey Maple Turkey Sandwich.I took a bite.I knelt, I smiled, and then I cried.P.S. The kneeling down part is obviously an exaggeration, but everything else is true. This sandwich... man... it works great wonders. I've never thought I'd write a review for a freaking sandwich, but here I am. And I hope you will too.“

“Excellent! Cubano is one of the best I have had and I tend to get one whenever I see it on the menu. It has been a while since I have been in Ybor but definitely at that level. The gumbo was excellent too. Good flavor, not overwhelming heat. I will be back when I am in town!“

“No one makes a better hoagie or cheesesteak. Anywhere. If they served crinkle cut fries it would be better than the ones they have. But it's a sandwich shop, so can't really go wrong grabbing chips instead. The sandwiches are the absolute best I've ever had.“

“Old school! In from NYC on biz…had looked this place up. So much better than most of the Philly center tourist traps. The large cheesesteak was enough for 3 meals, and the meat was so good and cooked perfectly. The meatball sub was damn good too! Dreaming about that cheesesteak! Nice staff too!“

“Durrel from the Microhotel at Ridley without hesitation recommended this place to us. He did not disappoint. Staff there is great. Super friendly. Helpful since we had never been there before. Seems like the hut was recently renovated. Oh the subs are packed with meats I got a 12 inch Italian. Could only eat half of it saved the other half for the next day and I am a not a small eater. Thanks from central Pa.“

“I've been eating at Rybrew for the past several years - it is by far my favorite sandwich and bottle shop in Philly. A variety of vegetarian options, gluten free bread, and fresh soup every day which has never let me down. Their salads are a meal - even a traditional hoagie eater like me didn't mind eating my greens here! They have an excellent selection of beers/ciders for any palette, with rotating specials/deals/favorites to help guide you.Their baked goods are great, too. That carrot cake cupcake is well worth the calories.Vegetarian options: Veggie sandwiches, salads, soups and a veggie alternative buffalo chicken sandwich which is great. All sandwiches can be made veggie.Dietary restrictions: Always handled our gluten allergy well - will isolate your sandwich on the panini press.“
“I've come to Bubby's for many years for breakfast and lunch until my job moved to another section of the City. Now I so miss everything Bubby. I happened to be in the area for a meeting and said I just had to stop and get one of my favorites from Bubby's - the chicken cutlet hoagie. You watch the plentiful cutlets being breaded on the spot before being fried and placed in the hoagie roll with any trimmings and cheese you may want. They also do awesome Philly cheesesteaks, hot sausages, hot dogs, and you name the breakfast sandwich and he can probably make it. They also have the sides like fries or onion rings. Or maybe oatmeal or grits. The homemade lemonade is the bomb. Bubby's is so much better than any Wawa. The place is super small and there's no tables...just enough room for about six to wait standing inside the sliding glass door if it's cold and windy or rainy. You have to be patient as lines sometimes get long, but moves quickly. Prices are very reasonable. CASH ONLY! Boy, do I miss Bubby's. I wish he opened up near me! That homemade chicken cutlet hoagie was superb. Yum!“

“Haven't eaten in here in years and other then the name change, I would say they are pretty much the same.As always, the breaded chicken cutlet was delicious... the sharp provolone makes it. Our cheese steak (Whiz, mayo, with) was awesome... and that's even with letting it sit for 20min till we got home. I imagine eating it straight away would only make it better.Price wise they are about average. The two sandwiches plus a side of SAUCE not "gravy" ? was about $30.The only thing we both noticed was they seemed to have changed their roll vendor. It was ok... but not great and that's something I definitely remember being exceptionally good years ago. That said, I did notice a sign saying they offer fresh baked seeded rolls so might give that a go next time.Obviously the cheesesteak debate has been going on in Philly forever... If your from out of town your going to hear that places like this (including Pat's, Genos etc.) are just for the "tourists"... that real Philly folk only eat at "x"... and while there definitely are great places out there... I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss these popular spots as they are very good. And that's coming from someone born/raised who has been eating steaks since the 70's... back when Pat's use to put down sawdust to keep the pigeons away!So... yes, give Tony Lu... err, Tony & Nick's a shot.. def recommend.Added bonus: They have a nice enclosed type area where you can sit down and eat that's fairly warm during the colder weather. It's well lit and safe.“

As someone who doesn't often go to places like this, I highly recommend it and will be going again before I'm gone!Parking: It's by the front of a Home Depot, so unless it's a particularly busy day for them, you'll find parking easy.“

“We went on a Saturday and loved the place and food. The next day we went back to get more because they are absolutely amazing but they were sold out. My recommendation is that if on Sundays they have a great demand, they should prepare more to please all costumers. Sadly are flying back tonight and we won’t get to have our last taste.“

“Ordered our Thanksgiving meal after seeing a post on Facebook. Everything was incredible (sorry, no pics but trust me!). The whole process was super easy from ordering to pick up. The entire staff working the day before Thanksgiving were nothing but sweet and helpful. I even ordered some lunch to go when I picked up our dinner. Just a simple egg salad wrap and it was amazing. This was my first time coming to Wayside and definitely not my last. Thanks for helping make our Thanksgiving a little less stressful and a lot more delicious!“

“Excellent sandwich stand in the Reading Market known for its roast pork sandwiches. They didn’t disappoint - get it with provolone, broccoli rabe, and peppers. Admittedly it was a touch dry in spots and could have used more au jus, but the wet spots were amazing.“

“Good GOD!! Was walking home and needed a quick lunch to bring back with me. Such an unsuspecting place - but probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had lol. Got the avocado caprese sandwich on ciabatta, added turkey & got a bag of chips. Paid $10ish plus tip! Speechless at how perfect this sandwich is I had to take a video haha. Will absolutely be back here, found a new regular spot!!Vegetarian options: So much variety!!!“

“Always loved this place...it was a staple growing up and I crave it whenever I visit the old neighborhood but TWICE now the bread has not been fresh. I called and they just said that's what they got in the delivery. HELLO, you still picked it up and served it. That represents your store. You made the decision and the choice not to correct it. They also stopped carrying the yummy jarred pickles.“
“To be honest, I was skeptical because the prices were so low.I ended up ordering only the Cheesesteak, which was a bit bare on the meat, but for $7, it wasn't bad at all, and the flavor of the Cheesesteak was actually pretty good.I think I would go back and try their other options.“

“Best cheesesteak I've ever had! Most are under seasoned and the meat is dry from being overcooked to hell. Falls Deil does it right. Cooked to order so the meat is not over cooked, nice and juicy. Plus it's actually salted unlike some places... Yeah, I'm looking at you Dalessandro's, salt your freaking beef!“

“I got the vegetarian sandwich and usually a caprese style sandwich gets soggy or has too much balsamic... not this sandwich. The bread was perfect and not soggy. It was definitely a lighter sandwich, but i would definitely get the is again.“
“A lifeline of Jefferson Hospital! Egg and cheese hoagie for 7:00AM breakfast and tuna salad sandwich for lunch. The prices are great for a student budget, too. The owners are very kind and get to know their customers. Sam's Fresh Spot is the perfect pit stop. It's why I keep cash on me.“

“The staff here are amazing and so welcoming! You really feel at home. Coffee tastes good too. Only reason why I'm not giving 5 starts is because when I got there wifi and plugs to charge phone were broken. Nothing was working so I had to cancel my subscription since I was looking for a place to stay studying all afternoon. When management fix that, the place will be perfect then!“

“Old Nelson never disappoints. Had a turkey & roast beef hoagie and it was fulfilling. Hoagie Ana Lemonade total, came to $11.50. Hoagies are typically 8.50.
