“Cannot say enough about the food and the service! I've been going to Mo's for years! And somehow, I'm just now making a review.
Love the fried catfish! Best I've ever had! Today, we ordered chicken tenders, and they did not disappoint! My youngest child said they were the best he ever tasted!“

“Springhouse Tavern: The casual, atmospheric below-ground Springhouse Tavern at the Dobbin House is our favorite restaurant in Gettysburg. Whenever we visit Gettysburg, this is the one restaurant where we must dine. Its food quality, hospitality and authentic historic environment are consistently wonderful no matter how much time has passed. This time we were here with friends. We enjoyed cocktails on their outside patio while waiting for our table. The service and hospitality on the patio as well as in the Springhouse Tavern was efficient, delightful and helpful. The food was delicious, as always. The crab cake was especially delicious. This place is timeless Gettysburg. ACCESSIBILITY: This is a 248-year-old building on the National Register of Historic Places; needless to say, there isn’t a ramp or elevator to the below-ground Springhouse Tavern. However, other than a couple steps at the top and bottom, the stairs have railings on both sides, the step height is moderate, and the walls are close enough to put a hand on if needed. Even though I have mobility limitations, I was able to access the underground tavern. Once downstairs, there was adequate space for me to get around with my walker.“

“We had such a wonderful experience in every way - from menu recommendations, to great service and exceptional food! Our sweet server, Sara, offered helpful suggestions including a favorite, Montepulciano wine, an antipasto salad, customized lightly breaded entrees and desserts! The limoncello cake is not one to miss! We have family coming to visit soon and we will be sure to bring them here!“

“We were seated and then ignored for over 15 minutes. We left and no one noticed.“

“This inn was amazing! The rooms are huge, the decor is amazing battle of gettysburg themed. The staff is so nice! I genuinely felt like the staff enjoyed talking to us. My name Erin, means Ireland. The front desk worker saw that and put us into a room that had a huge painting depicting the ‘Pride of Erin’ or the Irish Brigade. It was beautiful, fun and lovely. The pub in the building was delicious, the wait staff enjoyed chatting and gave great service. They told us all the best places to eat and gave us tips for visiting. When I come back into town, I don’t want to go anywhere else!“

“Went to dinner Sunday nite. Had a great server Stephanie. Good was good. When we were leaving we ask to speak to the manager on duty to tell her what a great server we had. The girl that had sat us came back and said the manager was to busy doing inventory but she told her the reason we wanted to see her. We believe in telling management when the have a good person working for them but obviously the manager needs to take lessons from her server! Very rude!“

“4 of us came in from Chicago on a Sunday night. 2 of us had the special which was a grilled swordfish with rice and asparagus. It was absolutely delicious!! 1 of us had the crab stuffed salmon and he said it was the best he ever had! My wife had the snow crab legs and they were also very good! We had carrot cake and a chocolate cake for desert and both were awesome! Our server was Jim and we couldn’t have asked for a better server and as a bonus he was very knowledgeable of Gettysburg. If you have a chance run don’t walk to this restaurant!! Thanks again Jim you were awesome!!“

“Great stop on our way through Gettysburg. There were several options so everyone could get something they wanted.“
