“We had an absolutely wonderful meal at Hillside Cafe this evening. We decided to eat at the bar and Richard took very good care of us. I had a berry punch that was so delicious I had to have another. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday so we splurged. I got the House Special of a filet mignon (cooked perfectly) and a crabcake. Their crab cakes can not be beat! My husband got the T-bone and added a lobster tail he said they were both cooked perfectly. We could not leave without their peanut butter pie, so we got it to go. Hillside is our go to for fantastic food.“
“Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about their products and services. They took the time to listen to my needs and preferences, ensuring that they could provide me with the best possible assistance.Throughout my visit, I was consistently impressed by the attention to detail and the level of professionalism displayed by the staff. Whether it was assisting me in finding the perfect product or answering any questions I had, they were always willing to go above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction.Additionally, the efficiency of the service was remarkable. Despite the establishment being busy, I never felt rushed or neglected. The staff managed to maintain a perfect balance between attending to multiple customers while still providing each one with personalized attention.“
“I called ahead to see if they could accommodate our party of 17. We had a bunch of baseball players and parents hungry after a tournament. They were super kind to fit us into our own private room in the saloon. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic. The menu is extensive and unique. I had the surf and turf Caesar salad which was delicious. My husband had the poltergeist wings. The kids had the huge pretzel as an appetizer and burgers for their meals. It was hard to find parking on a Friday night but they have overflow parking at the business next door and lighted stairs to get to and from the parking lot.“
“We had a family event here with about 25 people. I had never been here and we booked it based on the website and on-line reviews. We had an excellent experience and I would recommend this place to all. The food was excellent and the service was great. It was nice to have such a pleasant experience having never been here.“
“gave this a try around 7:30pm (30 min before closing) and they were SO nice, so excited for us to try their food. We had the jhol chicken momo and pani puri! Both were so delicious, really hot and fresh which was perfect for our to-go order. Mango lassi was delicious and pretty good sized cup! We can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu and enjoy the traditional seating area!Kid-friendliness: Food friendly options for all ages to try Nepalese cuisine“
“What a fantastic experience! I rarely ever leave a review but I was so motivated by such a wonderful evening that I was inspired to leave one. Staff are knowledgeable, super personable, and the gentleman who I think was perhaps the owner stopped by to chat and tell us about some dishes, such as the salmon he cut himself that morning. Food was outstanding, the salmon was delicious. Beautiful fresh ingredients, everything was great. Low key warm atmosphere. Will absolutely return.“
“Great experience here at First Watch with friendly staff and great tasting food. I'm glad my neighbor suggested it. Lillian was my server, such a sweet young woman. Manager Jos was just as awesome, she checked in to make sure everything was ok. It was more than OK. It was perfect! Thank you to everyone. I felt completely at home. I Will be bragging about this establishment for a while.“
“Forry's is the best! The food is absolutely delicious. The cheeseburger sub is arguably the best around. Definitely, sit out back in the grass on the picnic tables. You can't come to Forry's without getting some ice cream, though. It's the best! All the soft serve flavors are fantastic. They don't make restaurants like Forry's anymore, that's for sure.“
“Had a delicious meal here last night with my sister and cousin. We all had the grouper sandwich which was very good. The french fries were the best that I have had in a long time! Our server was friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely be back!“
“First time dining here. I'm very hungry due to a lack of breakfast in the hotel... smh. All things work together for good, however, as this breakfast at Titos was worth the wait. Pleasant atmosphere, timely service. I believe I had my meal inside of 7 minutes from seating to service. Sizeable pancakes and condiments are plentiful without the need to ask. More napkins would be great, but then they had honey for my hot tea (a rarity)! Overall, I'm glad I came, now ready to complete my tasks... ????“
“Bryce (I hope I spelled it correctly) was our server today and was super friendly. He was quick with filling drinks and taking away dirty plates. He went out of his way to get my mother-in-law some peach jelly (I recommend this!). Great place and will definitely be back! Thank you Bryce!“
“Great spot with a fantastic group of employees. It's family owned and it shows. I'd eat here before the one down the road by the McDonald's any day.If you have kids, there is a choo choo train and horse that they can ride out front. Son goes nuts when he sees us pull up- he loves them.“
“Today I stopped at this location to get a treat for my granddaughters. The incredible selection of special donuts they offer was so much fun! I went with the lucky charm St. Patrick’s theme. The service I received was INCREDIBLE! The young man behind the counter and cook in the back were efficient, friendly, considerate, and VERY understanding when I messed up my order!!It truly felt like the “good old days” - aka before Covid - when the customer was the top concern. The egg sandwich I ordered was delicious too. Take a minute, grab your kids or grands, and please consider doing business with these amazing people!“
“Food was great , hot, tasty, plate presentation was very well done. The server was right on time, she was spot on for everyone's needs, can't say enough for the server, she was the best! I highly recommend this restaurant for food service and the atmosphere was rustic but very clean and spacious“
“This was breakfast on a very rainy Saturday around 9:45 am and the place was packed!I had Eggs Benedict which were okay. My friend had a vegetable omelette which looked delicious. Service was prompt and professional. We had to circle around the block to find parking.“
“Pickle brine chicken sandwich was delicious…didn’t actually taste like pickles but more like a spicy chicken sandwich…yummy none the less! Milkshake martini was a delicious desert drink! No reservation was needed around 1 pm.Parking: On site“
“Ridiculously good 'pub food'. Black bean quinoa burger was one of the best I've had and the fruit side was full of fresh, sweet fruit. Decent craft beer selection as well! Cannot underscore value. For what you get, this is VERY affordable.Vegetarian options: Yummy!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu“
“It has been some time since we stopped by Reeser's--I think we were coming back from a tubing trip--so we were all hot and in good spirits from the days adventures. We saw a sign for ice cream--smashed the brakes and whipped the Honda Pilot into the parking lot. We were thrilled by what we found--the sundaes(?) were creative and I recall lots of fresh fruit. We love walk up ice cream spots like this... will return if we are in the area.“
“Best diner in the area. I've been going here going on 10 years I believe. The staff is always pleasant. The food is fantastic and you can't beat the prices. It gives you a mom and pop feel eating here and those are some of the best experiences when dining if you ask me. Highly recommend.Parking: This place stays pretty busy so parking is usually scarce and you may need to park on the street if the lot is full.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Me and my now 5 year old comes here every other weekend.“
“Had a burger that was just wonderful. Cooked to perfection just the way I like it. It was very juicy & flavorful.Service was excellent. Our waitress was attentive without being smothering. The restaurant itself was spacious, well lit, and nicely appointed.“
“We have lived in the area for a couple of years now, and I've been wanting to try Hershey Pantry for a while. We finally went for breakfast, and weren't very impressed. While we loved the feel of the outdoor heated patio, the seats were difficult for our 2 year old to sit in with the booster seat and the food was bland. Our daughter ordered the chocolate chip pancake, my husband got the steak and eggs, and I got the breakfast skillet. I don't often salt and pepper my food, but I did this time. My husband and I felt that both our dishes were very basic in taste, like they didn't season it at all. We probably won't make this our regular breakfast place.“
“We stopped in after going to Hersheypark. Our local Fuddruckers is closed so the nostalgia kicked in. The service and food were on point. I had a large burger with bacon, fried mushrooms and fried onions. I love the fact that you can get your own toppings and condiments from the self serve bar. The hot cheese is a plus for my fries. I'll stop in again when I go to HP.“
“i had an issue where the server charged me for two sodas and an iced tea with my meal. i only ordered the meal and a water. i told her before she ran my card, and still she messed it up. my card was charged for things i didn’t order or eat. i called in and it was made right by Randy. he was very polite and a pleasure to deal with“
“Stopped in to grab a casual dinner. It’s reminiscent of an Irish pub with dining. They even have a little fireplace in the back- it may be electric but still a nice touch. My server Ari was so sweet and attentive. She took great care of me. It’s customer service like this that makes me come back and tell others. I ordered the Cesar salad with grilled chicken. It was a large portion and tasted great. She even sold me to bring some house made berry cheesecake with me for later tonight. Pricing was reasonable, service was great, and the vibe was great. What’s not to like?“
“The locally renowned crab cake was as good as usual for my wife. The lobster roll was amazing considering I have tried them all over the United States and it ranks in the top three! Top notch waitress with good memorization skills and very timely.“
“For years I have passed by this place and never stopped in . This morning I got to try O'Reilly's and went for breakfast. I didn't know they even served breakfast until this morning when my friend suggested we give this place a try. I always thought it was an Irish pub only severing lunches, dinners and bar food / drink stuff. Well, they also serve a good breakfast! The place is very nice and clean. The food was very good, I had the fresh fruit pancakes & my friend had one of the breakfast sandwiches w/ roasted potatoes. We both enjoyed our meals. I am definitely coming back again for breakfast and I would love to try the dinner menu. Our waiter recommended the Chili and the some of the smoked meats. 4.5 stars to our waiter! (sorry I do not remember his name?) I will update my rating once I try the dinner menu.“
“This family owned restaurant is quite a statement. At the first glance no one would guess what treasure it is...All their food is cooked from scratch, right there, on the spot. Delicious dishes, very well presented. The tomatoe soup was garnished with pesto, giving it a fantastic refreshing flavor. The octopus was tenderly cooked and served on a bed of potatoes and capers. Very original...This stop was very rewarding and refresing, and for this reason I would like to give credit where credit is due.“
“Stopped in while in town on business not knowing anything about the restaurant. On a Wed eve they were packed but they found a spot for me as a single diner. It did take longer than expected for waitress to come to my table, but it was super busy. She was very pleasant and checked on me often. I ordered the chicken milanese and it was fabulous!!! I wish I lived in this town as this would be my frequent spot! The only negative was it was extremely loud. To the point that if I had someone with me I would have had to talk very loudly.“
“I enjoyed my experience here last week. Our server, I believe Kelly (blonde/purple hair) was on top of everything and took great care of our large party. Food was delicious! Perfect variety on menu, and beyond reasonable prices! Easy parking as well. I would return, and I highly recommend to anyone in/near or passing through Harrisburg!“
“Very friendly service. Sub rolls were exceptional. Turkey was tender as well as great quality pickles for sub. Pizza had quality ingredients, didn't taste anything off, crust is thin, easy to eat, got a good amount of air pockets in the dough so nice and crisp.“
“This place is awesome. They have a little bit of everything. Great food, pool tables, live DJ, comedy nights, and nightly specials. Natalie and Allison really take care of their customers and provide top notch service. Definitely recommend getting a drink from them at the bar. Always a great time and good crowd every time I go. The steak blows me away every time.“
“Such a wonderful diner. We were so excited to find this place after Crave on Rt.22 closed down. Same owners same wonderful service! The vibe is different than Crave, but that's as expected because this is a diner. We just love it here! We pop by after church while our kids are doing their Sunday School classes. So if you only have an hour you can still get your food and enjoy it.We've also ordered online and just gone to pick up and the service is fast!“
“This place has some of the best pizza in the Harrisburg area! The subs are also great and the Philly Cheesesteak is awesome! The large is absolutely massive! It also has one of the cleanest kitchens you will see and I had worked in the restaurant industry for years.“
“Picked up my wife at Harrisburg Airport and we were both hungry. This place was convenient and we had great food. I got brisket tacos and my wife had the ultimate grilled cheese with tomato soup. Service was great and beer was cold. A great local pub atmosphere. We would go back.“
“We had reservations for Valentine’s Day dinner and the experience could not have been any better. Our server was friendly and attentive. The drinks were very good. The food was absolutely delicious. I had been here before and knew the food was good so I was expecting that and was not disappointed. We would have tried dessert but we had other plans. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Parking is in the street or across the street in a city garage. Check Harrisburg parking authority for days/times/rates. Stock’s ownership also owns Carley’s Piano Bar around the corner so be sure to check them out as well.Dietary restrictions: I’m sure they would accommodate any requests zParking: Easy parking on the street or in the garage across the street. Check Harrisburg parking authority for days/times/ratesWheelchair accessibility: No stairs to get in and there is plenty of space to maneuver a walker/wheelchair but I would call to confirm.“
“From their creative menu to their top tier ingredients, Black Gryphon is a must visit spot for any locals AND out of towner’s. Their fantastic “Chocolate Hot” is extremely noteworthy. From the several dishes I’ve tried, each one has been a home run. Be sure to get your burger “Super Saiyan Style”! Beautiful spot/people, will be back!“
“A very tiny deli with a limited menu and the traffic of customers were endless. They only have 3 bar stool tables inside and two outdoors. A corner location across from the capital. Staff friendly and helpful as I told them I have never been there before. I had the corned beef and had it just as recommended on menu, very good.“
“Me and my family ate their for my Grandma's Birthday today and the food was good, the atmosphere was beautiful and the service was just so good our waiter was really nice and i plan to come back here with my family again. Thank You for a good time!“
“A hidden gem in the City of Harrisburg. Excellent service and food. Highly recommend the crab dip appetizer. It's out of this world and you'll be fighting over who gets the last bite. We have been here on several occasions. Also the Tangler Burger and fries are awesome. Our most recent visit was for Easter Dinner. Our family plans changed on the Friday before Easter and the staff at Dodge City was more than accommodating with getting us a reservation spot on their already busy schedule. Thanks so much! So, if you are traveling or a resident in Harrisburg... check out this hidden restaurant on Paxton Street. The food and service are excellent and the prices are reasonable.Parking: Parking lot with plenty of spaces.“
“Great food. Great location. Great owner. Everything is fresh. Solid breakfast and lunch menu. Best breakfast sandwich I can find in downtown Harrisburg. I would have never thought putting Mayo on a breakfast sandwich would work but it is delicious. Especially the herbed Mayo. Try it out. You won’t regret it.“
“Best sub I’ve ever had… gave it a second try just to be sure… the bread is perfect and the sub is filled and booming with flavor.. the employees were pleasant which goes a long way as well.. I wish they operated at longer hours as it hard to get there for most because they work during the day but if you get a chance. It’s worth the stop“
“Wide variety of shops. Ice cream, subway, laundromat, Joey's chicken shack, tmobile, leather surplus, vape shop, dollar general, Chinese food, bar/restaurant with live music, hair salon, nail salon, yoga studio, and others. Very well maintained and pleasant plaza to visit.“
“our server, Ken, was absolutely phenomenal. he provides excellent service to his tables. he makes the whole experience delightful. if you visit here be sure to request Ken for an awesome experience and delicious food. you will not be disappointed!!“
“Went with a friend on a Thursday night. Personally haven’t been to a Friendly’s in years but I wasn’t expecting anything bad. Food was absolutely phenomenal. I feel bad for forgetting our server’s name but he was super attentive and very kind. The atmosphere was calm and it was very much a nice place to quickly dine in and get some ice cream. Definitely want to come back again soon.“
“Really fun little bar, staff and clientele are great not to mention the owners who go out of their way to make you feel like family. Great entertainment regularly and affordable good food, every town needs a Kadilaks'! Also as a non-sympathetic former smoker, they must've upgraded their smoke eater system as everyone was smoking and I really didn't notice the stench! Also, I had the Italian pit beef sub with fries and both were outstanding!Parking: Parking in the rear and on street“
“Great place for a few beers! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious!Kid-friendliness: The kids menu had a lot of different options on it, no problem finding something for even the pickiest eater. A whole menu full of craft sodas too!“
“Combo of 2, but very little chicken. This might just be due to it being a Saturday night- we ordered pickup a bit before 9 pm, and they close at 10, so maybe they were running out of chicken. Either way, they more than made up for it with the large slab of BBQ ribs. Since we hadn't tried them before, I wanted to try both. The small amount of chicken was very tasty- and the ribs were delicious. There was more than enough of them to share, and the smoky taste with Baby Ray's sauce is a winner. I'm hoping we can do a regular sit-down soon and there's enough chicken!“
“We waited an hour but it was worth all the hype we had previously heard about this place! Their mushroom appetizer is delicious! Most importantly, we were lucky enough to have Ameenah as our server! She was fantastic and she was always on top of things and kept us informed! If we ever get back up here which I hope we do, I hope we will get the chance to have Ameenah again! 5 stars is a direct reflection of her service and how she was with us! She is fantastic!!“
“Came in on a random Thursday night, traveling in from out of town. Looking for a spot to get some good Indian food and beer(s). I can say the lamb jalfrezi was on-point. Spicy and flavorful. Slow cooked in the way that’s hard to do from a microwave. Ingredients were clearly fresh. Full bar and decent selection of draft beers and traditional bar food. Seems like a fun neighborhood hangout spot. You’re probably going to need to park on the street or walk. Will return.“
“I'm so happy to have found Hogan's Bar & Grill. My military son was able to come home for the holiday. This was our first visit to Hogan's and part of his Christmas gift. We were impressed with the food, cleanliness, service, and atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy entrance from the upper lot and an elevator easily accessible from the larger lower parking area.“
