“Had 2 weeks work stay in the area and the first things we were told is the place is like "Cheers". They were right! By the time our stay was up we were being greeted from locals across the room and everytime we entered we felt more than welcomed. Everything is reasonably priced and the specials were excellent everytime. It is 100% worth the stop and worth coming back. I could say so many great things about my experience and I thank them for the memories. We hope to be back.The RR boys“

“Everyone there was very courteous and our server was great. The pub portion of the restaurant was quite dark as you would expect a tavern to be. The patio in the back was completely different and had its own, great vibe. Lots of natural light, a few fireplaces, greenery on the ceiling, etc. We had the “famous fish and chips” and it was delicious! The fish filets were huge, the breading was thick and substantial, crispy and delicious. The chips (fries) were very good as well. The drink menu was enormous and had tasting notes for many of them. A lot of great food at a very reasonable price. The service was outstanding. The Trail Rider and Lazy River beers were top notch. This was our first visit and we will be back!“

“In the area to see a Sight & Sound Show. Took a bike ride near Marietta and stopped for a late lunch. We shared a salmon dinner with fresh broccoli and seasoned rice and a house salad. Can't say enough about how delicious it was. The bartender made me a wonderful orange slush..so good I had 2. Everyone we encountered here treated us like we were regular customers. So good we're going back after our bike ride tomorrow!!“

“This was a yelp find that ended up being a total diamond of a find. The drinks were well made and not overdone. The Brussel sprout appetizer is the best I have ever had. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu, but the burgers are just amazing. Finally, dessert is just.... Wow. True creme brulee, made the way it was meant to be and in such a perfect abundant portion. We could not be more thrilled with our experience. The waitress we had, Heather, was just a font of information, she gave fantastic recommendations and made sure our first experience was just above and beyond. We will be back.“

I would recommend the chipped beef . Its phenomenal ?.Also taking home a quart of Daryl ham nd bean. “A great gem of a restaurant tucked away in Landisville. We were greeted by Matt, who seated us and was our server. We discussed the cocktails and ordered. I had the steak tips sandwich and fries -- very good. I liked the mushrooms and Swiss cheese on the sandwich. The fries are batter dipped, but lightly. They were great, not greasy or soggy. My husband had Chicken Marsala over risotto. The flavor and texture were excellent. We will definitely return. The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. “*Edit* The burgers and ice cream were delicious. My daughter loved the Cookie Monster ice cream.No indoor seating still. They just use the inside for storage. When asked they said they closed down for COVID and just haven’t opened yet… it’s 2023. It was over 100° and with babies in tow it made for a very unpleasant experience.“

The biscuits are delicious & filling, the portions for the price are amazing and I had the best chocolate chip pancake I think I ever had in my life! The pancakes are big & fluffy. The side of meat was two pieces of scrapple which was wonderful as with most places you only get one piece. The toast was pre buttered & yummy. I just can't say enough good things, I am just happy that this place is so close to us & that we were able to get takeout before they closed at noon. Waiting for our food bags we enjoyed taking in all of the diner decor, the place is so adorable & hasn't changed since I was a little kid, I just regret not coming back sooner. Tasty bbq sauce options on the table to add to your dinner selection if desired. Really nice atmosphere and interior with plenty of beautiful natural finshed wood and live edge accents and tables. New is the Harvey's Brew Pub options with micro brew beer, wine, several cocktails and even a guest brewer tap. Crowlers are available for takeout. When the weather is nicer there are nice outdoor seating options. They also offer takeout options. “We came here for our honeymoon! After traveling from Philly, we stopped in Lancaster and asked a local what food they recommend. This was their first pick and they did not disappoint! It looks small, but there is a lot of space inside! It was packed but still had loads of seats to choose from so we could sit around people or find somewhere secluded. There were so many families, it warmed my heart. Our server, Jordan, had great energy, was fast with refills and had so many great recommendations. Our food was hot, fresh, and legitimately the best food we have had in the entire honeymoon. I had the French onion panini and my husband had the crab cakes, and we split some onion rings with spicy crab soup. It blew us away, and they were just the sweetest group ever! If I settled here I know I would end up being one of those couples there every Saturday night because it is worth it!“

“Whenever we're in town for AAU games at spookynook, we make sure we stop in for dinner. It's a no brainer! The staff is cool/chill ?, very pleasant. The food is great.... prices are fantastic. I love the tuna tacos. I met one of the owners, she was so cool. It was refreshing to see an owner mix it up with customers. For watching sports...there are no bad TV angles. Everything was excellent - from the time we walked in til we walked out. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn risotto starter was absolutely delicious. I could order just several of those and be happy. I had the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi - it was so good, I was sad when it was gone haha. My wife had the seafood manicotti. Another fantastic dish we'd order again. The dessert was a light but mouth watering cheesecake. We can't wait for a little warmer weather to dine outside. The view of the river is great from inside but even better when we walked out to the patio.“

“Everything I've tried has been delicious and fresh. The only exception would be the steak. I've tried several dishes with steak (tortellini, tacos) and often the steak is chewy where you have to spit it out because you cant chew it.“

“Wow we had a fantastics experience here! Our service was phenomenal we have never had a server care so much about his job. Jack was our server tonight and to say he was one of the most genuine and sincere servers we have ever had is an understatement. He seemed to care about our experience as well as answering all our questions on the menu. He ran around tending to every table he had and I think he made our experience better being our server. The food and drinks were fantastic as well as the atmosphere this is definitely bucket list restaurant to try and we cand wait to share with friends. “Always love their food, worked there years ago back when it was crazy fun , but the food is still really good was craving my favorite chicken quesidillas and surprised my daughter , always easy to order and pick up if you don't have time to dine in . Plus they serve breakfast all day and all night long. “1st time visit. The dining room is very big and bright. We did an early Friday dinner to get the AYCE fish fry. There seemed to be a lot of idle employees. Our waitress was extremely nice and efficient. The food was hot,good portions and tasted great. We did ask questions of 2 different waitstaff that neither could answer. We plan to come back so that's a good thing.Parking: Parking is right behind restaurant. It is tight but do able. The lot was full but restaurant wasn't. Don't know if employees also use the lot.“

“This is one of our regular breakfast location spots. Bring a jacket, especially on cold days because there seems no way to avoid the draft. Also, don't sit near the bar door because sometimes you smell smoke wafting in which is unpleasant. All of this said the wait staff is friendly and prompt. The menus are on the table. Sometimes the specials are fantastic but I'm a huge fan of their unique omelet menu. Huge fan of their taco omelet, which is just what it sounds like.“

Breakfast is my most often eaten meal here, but also eat here at least a couple times a month on nights when we don't get around to cooking early enough. “We love Stony Run Brew House! Our “go to” place for great food, atmosphere and prices. Recently saw they have a small banquet space and booked it for a surprise birthday party with over 30 guests. They knocked it out of the park! They could not be more accommodating and so many people who live in the area commented they can’t believe they’ve never been there and they would be back for sure! “Steak is always excellent here . 2023 April Update we went there a party of five the place was full. I bought my usual a sirloin steak mushrooms and the rest anyway all of our food was barley warm. I said something to the waitress that ask if I wanted it heated up I declined it was already dry and tough this is the second time in a row food was way under my standard the time before was in 2022. I used to look foward to going there . Today I made roast beef and it was so tender it melted in my mouth and the beef came from Walmart and it blew your steak out of the water 10x better and not dry tough or cold.Shame on you for charging premium money for 2nd rate food.I wanted to say something to the manager but my girlfreing did,t want me too. Even if we did get gift cards guess what someone still worked hard to pay for that gift card and I am asking for gift cards from somewhere else from now on. The word is out you don't care. Signed honest customer unbiased reveiw. Update this place always has new employees. But we just went there on 4/26/24 and everyhing was good. The steak fries were getting cold though. “We didn't know CB did breakfast! It was ok. We both had the Old Timers Breakfast with the Hash brown Casserole side which was yummy! The gravy for the Biscuits and Gravy was not very flavorful but just ok. There was an upcharge on putting cheese on my scrambled eggs so be aware of that!“
