“Our family had a nice evening here! Overall it was a very good experience. I had the fried haddock and would certainly order it again, in fact, it was recommended by my son (who couldn't make it) and we came here specifically based on his recommendation. It did not disappoint! I could see us go here again, simply to order that item. It consists of two huge planks of fried haddock that were perfectly battered and with the tartar sauce, absolutely delicious. The rest of the family order items to their specifications and simply is pleased. Only hold up from five stars, was there seemed to be a miscue at the start of our experience as we were waiting for a solid 10 or 15 minutes for anyone to come over. The hostess eventually realized we were still sitting, I took care of getting the server to come over. The server overall was good, personable, and worked to make connections with the kids in particular which was nice. So, maybe just a bit of disorganization somewhere. Oh, I should mention the dessert we ordered was phenomenal! Peanut butter pie is to die for.Kid-friendliness: They have two sections here, a bar / lounge and a dining area. I'll give them credit, they actually have two separate entrances so that you can either go into the family friendly side or the bar lounge side. Also as I mentioned in the review, the server did take notice of the kids and make an effort to specifically connect with them and make them feel noticed and important.“

“Lunch was excellent. Usually you'd expect fair or less quality food from a pub but perfectly done, hot on arrival, and quality meat (hamburger) and a fish sandwich. Would go again just for the food. Service was just as good and the atmosphere / music was very comfortable. A real surprise of a place.“

“I happened upon this place on accident, but I'll make sure to return on purpose. I just needed a sports bar to watch the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship Game, but I got the "National Championship ?" wings which are by far the BEST gold ? ? ? I ever tasted and the BIGGEST I've ever eaten.“

“Service is impeccable. You feel like you've stepped back in time with your ancestors and are dining with them. The period costumes help take you back in time. Food was excellent! All is delicious but I must point out a star in the menu. The hearty onion soup (actually thick like a stew is the best I've ever had! It's been several months since I've been there and it's still remarkable in my mind. I find myself comparing every French onion soups to this one and they cannot measure up to this one!“

“Absolutely wonderful experience!! I'm so glad to have found this place while on vacation :) Our waitress Malaya was phenomenal! The atmosphere was very welcoming, and there are wonderful menu options/ specials & deals on drinks ! We went to play pool, and it was free at the time, which was another incentive on top of their comfy outside warmed smoking area! This place is a definite must go if you're in the area and looking for a friendly, awesome, excellent restaurant, bar, and billiards !! We will definitely return when visiting the area again!
