“I ordered my husband's birthday cake from Ann's Cake Pan and it was delicious. It was a chocolate cake with hazelnut filling and vanilla buttercream. Bill was extremely helpful with taking my order. I am making this my birthday cake stop for now on. I'm sad that I lived in Warrington for 6 years and didn't know this tasty establishment existed. I'm going to refer everyone here! “If I could rate Costa Deli 100 stars, I would.I was greeted immediately by the owner, Dave, as he was joyfully chatting with his mother, and he directed me to the counter to take a seat for a meal. I then met Steve, the chef and culinary genius behind the magic that is, Costa Deli.Per Steve's expert recommendation, I ordered a classic Italian hoagie with sopressata, provolone & capicola, hot peppers, sweet peppers, lettuce, tomato, onion, oil and vinegar, and hot pepper flakes. This was easily one of the best hoagies I've ever had. The flavors were so balanced. The bread was so fluffy and light, yet robust enough to easily hold the ingredients of the sandwich. The meats and cheese were so flavorful and of the highest quality and freshness. The peppers, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions were all prepared to perfection and also incredibly fresh and juicy. I could tell Steve was not only great at what he does, but he also loves what he does.In addition, I naturally ordered a chocolate milkshake and an order of French fries. The milk shake was delicious and hit the spot. Steve fried the fries to perfection and they were lightly salted and crispy, just how I like them.Towards the end of my meal, I met Jack, another chef, who kindly asked me how I was doing, let me know of the incoming rainstorm, then got right to work building more of the famous Costa Deli hoagies for several online orders. The kitchen hummed along and David, the owner, humbly stepped in to assist the line with anything they needed. I really admired, respected, and appreciated Dave's teamwork and care for his staff.To end my lovely time at Costa Deli, I spoke at length with Dave about how contemporary society has drifted away from the mom-n-pop style restaurants and stores and towards corporate consumption of big name stores. We discussed how much we appreciated the sense of community provided by and created through corner stores in small towns just like Costa Deli. We all need to support small businesses whenever possible because one's like Costa Deli make you feel like you've walked in from the outside world and stepped right into the home of the Costa family.I will most certainly be back and I highly encourage you to sit at the counter and watch Steve, Jack, Dave, and the rest of the Costa Deli staff go to work.“

“whenever I am in Chestnut Hill I always say that I am going to try this restaurant. Well today I did and It did not disappoint OMG…. The restaurant is quaint and cute. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I ordered the broccoli quiche with turkey bacon on the side. That quiche is like none I have ever tasted, flaky crust and the filling reminded me of soufflé but much taster. I also brought 2 cups cakes carrot and coconut to go. I’m sure they are just as good. I can’t wait to go back because I hear there is a different quiche each week. This is my new breakfast place for sure.“

“Came here the day before Thanksgiving, it was very packed but staff did a great job moving the line. Ordered 4 of the second smallest sized cakes they offer to try a few out and was very satisfied with them.The double chocolate chip and snickerdoodle were amazing, one of our favorite desserts especially in the area.We are saving the other two for Thanksgiving to share tomorrow...if they make it that long!Definitely recommend checking it out.“

“There are not enough good things to say about Cathryn’s. My twin sister told me about the bakery. It truly feels like family every time I visit. They know which twin is which by now (LOL). I have referred family and friends to Cathryn’s. In fact, the last time I visited, I went to an event later that evening saw one of their cakes at my friend’s event. Professional representation always and wonderful aesthetic. And I agree with the comment regarding the packaging: very polished down to the details. They make Philadelphia proud!“
