“Awesome place for a brewski and some good food. The brew selection is very appealing and, I enjoyed several different IPA's. I also had a lunch special that was spot on. The pastrami sandwich was appetizing and the French onion soup was delicious. I also got some takeout for dinner later. My food was done quickly, and I enjoyed every bit of it.“
“Awesome experience. Very clean, open and overall fantastic. The dogs had plenty of room to roam and were pleasant. Both the waitstaff and management were fantastic and the food is amazing. “As a vegetarian, I often struggle to find meat-free brunch options that can compare to traditional items. Sidecar Bar is the best brunch i’ve had in Philly! I got the Hippy Benny and it was PHENOMENAL!!! The ingredients were fresh and the potatoes were incredible. I went with a large group and some other favorites were the pancakes, the breakfast flatbread, and the Texan Benny. The atmosphere was fun and upbeat while still remaining casual and family friendly. Had a side Caesar which looked like a large Caesar dressing and lettuce were fresh and cold. I haven’t had dinner in there in a long time but I remembered it was always good used to go for all u can eat spaghetti and clams or mussels a must try hidden gem to enjoy a nice dinner“
“The staff was absolutely amazing, Annie was super friendly and kind. Our first time visiting Philadelphia and she recommended several places to check out in brewery town. This place has a great selection of beer and lavish cocktails. The food was amazing, I really loved the pork burnt ends. The pho was delicious, fish and chips were nicely battered and tasty. “We stopped by after the Philly Love Run for a much needed brunch. It wasn’t full and we had a nice table upstairs by the window. The bartender is awesome! He made a perfect spicy Bloody Mary and was funny and helpful. Thanks for making out lunch great!!The menu online isn’t exactly what they have (at least for brunch) but what we had hit the spot. The biscuits and gravy is a huge portion. Served with eggs and delicious crispy potatoes. My friend got the burrito sans tortilla. Also great. So glad we tried this place. Would definitely go back!“
“I visited on a thursday with my buddy who goes often. Being a workday night it seemed pretty active yet still a relaxed environment. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive, additionally the wings were great. Will definitely return.Parking: It is south philly so obviously parking is a bit challenging, but I was able to find plenty of spots about a block and half or so away.“

“We've always enjoyed coming here with the whole family. We came looking to make a reservation for an upcoming event. Manager Zee, Michael-owner, the chef, and all staff were all fantastic. The place has really been revamped since our last visit. The ambience is beautiful, the lounge is cozy, the bar looks very well set up, including the fireplace. “4 stars for great food, but... I don't think it is worth the prices. I had wings, salad, and a cocktail and the price was $50. I'd expect this level of food prep to be more about $30-$35. It is a hotel restaurant, and the service level from staff was a bit slow. There were a lot of hotel guests crowding the hostess area so much that I couldn't find it, so it took extra long to find someone that could seat me at a table.“
“We were traveling 4 generations deep following the San Diego Padres on an east coast trip. We did all the research we could on a nice B&B, with proximity to a bar and the stadium and we ended up a block away from this place. The neighborhoods vibe was safe and friendly, and the people inside this particular bar were cool and classy without a doubt. Shot out to the cool Martin who didn’t disappoint with anything he made. But in general, it's cheap.It's only a Dollar or so to eat dinner, relax for parking. If you go after the meter time which is dinner late, there was an problem but check.“
