“I've ordered different things from here several times and EVERY TIME...IT WAS PERFECT! The Smashbugers, Salads, Cauliflower Crust pizza, Cheese Steaks and Tiramisu are the some of the BEST I've ever had! The atmosphere and people are very welcoming. I highly recommend this establishment.“
“Came here on the recommendation of a friend. 20 min drive for us. Wow I was not disappointed in the least. Excellent and I mean excellent wings. Nice size, meaty, juicy and cooked to perfection. Perfect sauce. I had the hottest, they got hot around 6 for me….Fresh delicious celery and blue cheese out of this world. Beers were great and served fast…..Our server/bartender Courtney was awesome, attentive and just awesome….so were the many others behind the bar helping….I will be back. I do Understand it is a family business but my only complaint would be please keep the minors from behind the bar, they just don’t belong there. Excellent food, service and atmosphere and highly recommend.“
“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)“
“We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. Everyone was super friendly, food was amazing and we even got to briefly met Chef Von. Highly recommended. Get there before he wins next level and you won’t be able to get a seat.“
“I decided to give this place a try after reading some reviews and had a craving for a poke bowl. I went with rice, broccoli, brussell sprouts, chicken, and tuna poke. I really enjoyed the rice, broccoli, chicken, and poke, although the poke upcharge was pricey and the brussell sprouts were tougher than I expected. I got takeout, which was super convenient with online ordering and quick pickup service.“
“Amazing food with a very relaxed atmosphere. If the food wasn't as great as it is I would still come just for the service. They really make you feel as though your almost family the owner is on the ball and always there working with his team . To me that means a lot and says much more about a person's devotion . Great restaurant“
“We were there for breakfast this morning! The breakfast wrap is delicious! My husband had the steak and mushroom eggs Benedict also delicious! My sister in law Margaret starting working there and we decided to try it! We were definitely not disappointed and we will be coming back! Honestly we didn't know it was there. So happy we do now! ❤️❤️“
“I love Frank's Place, I always stop by for a meal when I am heading home from the Wayne County area. First off the place is huge but given how it's laid out it feels intimate, the food is always great and it's a real gem for that area. If you are thinking of going out don't hesitate to check this place out. I travel out of my way to go there because it's so good.“
“Best place I've been to in Scranton!! The price is definitely worth it!!! They serve you A LOT! So just have that in mind. It'd be best if you have someone to share. The chilaquiles ARE spicy so beware. But man, they are good! The chicken and meat are absolutely perfect. Other places give you old meat where you can taste it has been sitting for a while. Not Yankee Taqueria. The eggs were fried to perfection. The muffin and bagel were toasted so beautifully. I'll try their technique when I get home. The Cecina in the platter was very juicy and tender. Rice was very fluffy. The burrito, I could barely finish half. IT IS STUFFED!! But as it is fat, it's delightful. Again, their meat tastes very good and fresh. I wish I had known of this place before. I'd definitely visit this place evert time I come to Scranton! The service and food is unbeatable. The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. You HAVE to try this place!!“
“Had a great dinner here after a basketball game at holy rosary. Those who got burgers enjoyed them and the house fries were delicious. Tater tots were very different from store bought and not a hit with kids (looked more like hush puppies). I sincerely appreciated that they had GF items labeled on the menu. The rice bun was very cool- felt like eating a sushi burger! Server was great! If I could give 4.5 I would!Dietary restrictions: Very GF friendly“
“We stopped in about 7:30 for dinner and it was fabulous. The service was excellent despite the lateish hour and the food was fantastic. We had pumpkin ravioli to die for as an appetizer and I had chicken parm that was so tender and flavorful. My side of vodka linguini is a new favorite! So good! Hubby's chicken strips and penne was also great. I also recommend their strawberry salad. Always a great place to eat!“
“Super friendly staff. The restaurant itself was clean and thematic. The food was fine. I had the grilled octopus, fried cheese, and the gyro. I'd recommend them all. I've had better but it was a solid Greek restaurant. Definitely more than a diner.Kid-friendliness: We brought our daughter. They had a kids menu and the staff was friendly and accommodating.“
“One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in my life. The meat and cheese they used, whatever they did, they do it extremely well. Our waitress was super nice and it’s a cute little place. What people call the “dated” places are so often some the best food places in the area. It’s a hidden treasure in Scranton.“
“Stopped off the highway on the way home from a road trip. The S.O. was born in the area and his uncle is friends with the owner and his cousin had worked there growing up, so we wanted to give the support. Great little unassuming spot. Grabbed seats at the bar. Drinks were perfect. Had the cappelletti to start-cant find those in central NY so that was a special treat. Tuna melt special for me hit the spot. If only we lived closer, this would be a regular spot for us.“
“Excellent staff. Seated immediately. Service, outstanding.Scallops wrapped in bacon. Best I had in a long time. Cooked to perfection.Salad topped with Grilled Shrimp.Apples, pecans & a perfect medley.Fussy ...very impressed by Pete's Place.Enjoy and have an amazing week!!Live life to the fullest..❤“
“I don't want to dump on Scranton, (It is after all a depressed coal belt city) and I was only there for a few hours. In my limited experience with "The Electric City," this is far and away the best thing about it. Great service, great chili dogs, and if you're passing by on RT 81 or 476, a fairly easy detour to make if you're a Hot Dog aficionado, or maybe just Scranton Curious. Ask for directions to Schrute's Beet Farm B&B and the Dunder Mifflin Paper Co. tour. ;)“
“Great place for vegan comfort food. Any time I'm missing the taste and texture of a super cheesy quesedilla, this is where I go -- its close enough to the real thing to quench that craving. Hubby loves the Wild Wild West burger and we both LOVE the smashed potatoes. The smoothies/shakes are freaking delicious too.“
“This is a great restaurant and bar. The inside is a very comfortable atmosphere. Dim lighting which I love. If it’s cold out the fireplace might be roaring and the tables near it are a hot commodity. The food had always been good and they have a big selection on the menu. There’s lots of space and I have even hosted a birthday party here. The bar is separated from the dinning room enough to forget it’s there and close enough if you want to go in, plus there’s a pool table. The staff is great and the building has a lot of history. Worth a try if you’re in the area.Parking: Plenty of parking. Would never be an issue.Kid-friendliness: Good menu for kids.“
“This is a hidden gem in the town of Carbondale. Such a warm and welcoming atmosphere in here. The food is amazing and the chef really loves what he does. They do a trivia night which I didn't participate in personally, but I had so much fun just drinking coffee and having dinner while listening to the trivia night take place. Eric personally comes up with all of the questions and is interactive with all of the customers. I recommend trying the Guinness stew , it's out of this world!! I left there full and with a smile on my face! This is the kind of place you can bring the whole family. I highly recommend The Chip & Stone!“
“Stopped here for lunch on recommendation of Paul, the florist next door. We were bicycling the nearby rail trail and wanted to stop at Forest City.We ordered an Italian sub and a meatball parmesan sub. Ingredients are high quality Boars Head cold cuts and homemade meatballs and sub rolls. Two of us split to try them both.Service was friendly with both our preparer and the owner Janine conversing with us. Excellent quality at reasonable prices. Also try their other restaurant nearby, K & J' Kitchen. A great find.“
“The service is wonderful! The food is delicious and there's something for everyone on the menu. The bar services is good. The table service is good. It gets busy and they don't take reservations so go early if you don't wanna wait too long it's worth the wait though.“
“Found this little gem when my husband was working in the area. I picked it based on the reviews and so glad I did. The place was hopping with customers and the bartenders did a fantastic job of keeping the drinks full. The owner helped us find a seat as soon as we walked in and the service from that point on was incredible! The young female bartender reminded me of myself in the “old days”. She had lots of energy to match the atmosphere and was speedy with your next beverage, served with a big smile. We each got wings and shared the garbage fries, which was all delicious!! Big crispy wings with crispy celery to match and they were not skimpy on the Bleu Cheese either.Hopefully our travels take us back this way because I’d love to visit again!!“
“The service here can't be beat. Once they refused to charge us because our meal took too long. (so we just tipped the amt of the meal lol). Once we arrived not knowing they were closing early and they let us come in and insisted on us not rushing. The specials are always interesting and their corned beef hash is one of the best I've had. We can't recommend it enough and we come here every time we are in town .Wheelchair accessibility: Back door“
“Quick turnaround on your order. I would definitely stick with steamed dumplings vs. Fried. Crab Rab appetizer are medium size not very large. LO mein was delicious Snrimp Egg foo young ..delicious ask for flat not chucky. General chicken good. I wish they offered the General shrimp on delivery menu . We pick up bi weekly or monthly from here yet I hv not asked if they can do the generals shrimp in a brown garlic sauce as that is fabulous and my go to. If I don't stick with veggies. Try and Enjoy! Send feedback if you have a favorite!! Stay warm and as always have a positive day!! Let your thoughts be moving forward. No looking in the rear view mirror.. leave the dust behind. ❤ Spreading love and critiques of local places!!“
“Service friendly and fast. Portions are huge for breakfast but unfortunately for pancakes they do not have real maple syrup just the generic one in the bottle. The eggs were a bit overcooked to my liking and potatoes needed more seasoning, prices are fair.“
“Cheers with breakfast food someone said. Um, yes 100%! While we just found you on Google while we waited for a car repair...it was truly a pleasure. Breakfast was plentiful, the omelet was great, pancakes were on point. ☕️ tasted perfect. Small, comfy, clean, and relaxing. The locals inside were kind to us and had a very positive banter back and forth with one another. Wish I lived closer!“
“Sandwiches so good we went two days in a row! The clerks at the counter were very helpful in making suggestions for us on our first visit. My daughter and I followed the recommendation and shared the steak & cheese hoagie and were not disappointed! My son-in-law had a tasty chicken parmesan hoagie. Went back the next day to try the sausage & peppers and roast beef hoagies, while my son-in-law did a repeat of the chicken parm. All were excellent and were a great value! Will have to be a go-to spot when I’m in town!“
“Cafe has the best method for getting takeout, very fast easy and straightforward. Menu is online and very easy to order and pick up every item is packaged perfectly for takeout. They have many options for each item so you can customize your food choices accordingly. Very easy to make selection, upgraded family meals. Very affordable prices. Food is also very delicious and well worth the trip to pickup.Vegetarian options: Menu is designed so a person can choose a vegetarian option for most items.Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerance can have many options.Parking: Church parking lot that’s always open.Kid-friendliness: Options on menu have small portions for children.“
“Prompt and attentive service with reasonable pricing. I liked my chicken pot pie soup, but there was sugar in the pie crust, that was really, really weird. The chicken strips with butter and garlic and garlic bread were fantastic! No room for dessert and a takeout container to bring home.“
“I can only tell you about my experience at the bar because I've never sat at a table for dinner. Food is excellent. I had chicken Parm last night which was fantastic. The red sauce is delicious. Not too sweet like some places. Bartender is awesome. Very attentive. Good selection or top shelf bourbon and nice wines. On the downside, it's expensive, and during the week it's pretty dead. Most definitely go there for the food not the bar experience.“
“This place is awesome! Very classic diner-esque corner spot with a breakfast bar. It’s a modest place with super friendly and personable staff. The prices are low and the food is great! My fiancée and I come for breakfast or order delivery multiple times a week. Their coffee is AMAZING and honestly never had a bad experience. Ally, Rob, and Chris are some of the nicest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! Will continue to enjoy our breakfast from this spot for many times to come.“
“The first time I saw this place, I thought it was a private club. Stopped by one day and it turned out to be a great place to eat and drink. Food is great and lots to choose from. Drinks specials and food special weekly. Service is good and it will get busy, they do their best to provide the best service.“
“I've lived around the corner for a year, but never tried their place 'til last night. Got a pizza for my upstairs neighbor and myself to split. It's unique, and for 5$, you can't beat it. She and I (mostly me) almost ate the whole 12 cuts too!“
“The place was extremely crowded, and we had to sit in the bar area. And our waitress never brought us our waters we asked for. She never came to the table to ask us how everything was. And we were never asked if we wanted dessert. It was my sons birthday dinner with his girlfriend, and I felt bad, his birthday dinner wasn't that great.“
“We ate at Keystone Restaurant and ordered the meatloaf from Mothers Kitchen. One of the best meals I’ve had here. The mashed potatoes and gravy was nice and creamy and the meatloaf was a big portion and had a great savory and sweet taste. The chef came out and even spoke with us, telling us other meals to try when we come back. I will definitely be back not only bc of the food bust bc of how nice he was to stop and talk with us.“
“This is a good feel, classic American diner sort of place that I wish I tried earlier, and also now wish was open at hours I could enjoy on my work days.Went here for breakfast, a vegetable omelet with cheese, home fries with gravy on the side, sausage links and white toast. Don't think much other description is needed. Just a top notch breakfast, everything done to near perfection. Home fries were personally not quite where I'd like them, but my desire for crispy home fries isn't an absolute right way to cook them, just a preference is all. They were very soft while not soggy, held their shape, and were certainly tasty. Just like them crispy myself.Incredibly friendly staff, the most classic of American breakfast food done great, fantastic experience here.“
“A local sports establishment with tasty bar food and cold beverages at a fair price. Lots of televisions for all your sports watching needs. Jukebox playing some music when needed. Staff/bartender is very welcoming. Low key, friendly, and relaxed environment.“
“OK, I've been to Crotti's a few times now and they've never disappointed! They have an amazing bar chef that makes some of the best bar food you'll find in the area (I got a burger and the beef was so fresh and juicy), the drinks are great, and the atmosphere is prefect for the live performances they have! On the live performances note, they get, by far, some of the best groups around! I personally go there for their blues/funk performances and they're beyond incredible! I truly can't recommend Crotti's enough!“
“They are a legit creamery. We stopped in on a hot summer afternoon and were greeted by a friendly lady and the smell of cows in the back... their ice cream is so fresh and delicious. Great flavors. I have carrot cake and butter pecan. Chunks of carrot cake and creamy delight!!!“
“Delicious homemade food and drinks at reasonable prices. Great welcoming atmosphere from owner, staff, and patrons alike. Hometown feel with olden decor and seasonal decorations as well as a few newer things such as casino games, mechanical dart board, and flat screen smart tvs. Weekly food and drink specials. It's a great place to visit with friends and acquaintances daily or for special events.“
“Everything about Noir inside the Ritz theater in Scranton is top-notch and impressive. The food is amazing! The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. The drinks are tasty and made with high-end alcohol. The atmosphere is unique and comfortable. We’ve already been there multiple times.“
“We had a nice night out when our friends invited us to the VSpot The staff was really friendly and made us feel right at home, which added to the atmosphere. The steak they served on steak night was absolutely delicious. The music lineup was great, the sound quality was top-notch, and the new stage setup was impressive, making the whole experience even better. Oh, and we also got to check out the release of a new song called "Violet" by a popular local artist named Ivy. Overall, it was an awesome night, and big props to everyone involved for making it so memorable!“
“Wow! what a hidden gem!the food and service were excellent, the bartender (Cameron) knew exactly what I wanted!could use a little more "atmosphere" in the dining room, and a sign outside would be helpful!definitely not the "other" place (next door) not a chain, they know what personal service and connection is!gonna eat there lots! I especially liked the Harris Reuben Flatbread and the Irish Onion Soup!I also heard that the Chef is a total dish, and he enjoys long walks on the beach with that special someone..... and Cake.“
“This has become our Sunday breakfast place to go to. The staff is excellent, extremely friendly and they go out of their way to accommodate special requests. It’s wonderful to walk into a place that the employees are cooperative and they work as a team and not cut throat.Awesome family atmosphere and the food is always hot ( when it should be), tasty and served quickly.Definitely recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.“
“Always a fun night out at Tiffany's! You can't go wrong with any of the appetizers. I recommend the Wasabi Shrimp. Bourbon Street Chicken is one of my favorite dishes, but sometimes can't pass up on their creative nightly specials. Save room for dessert, or at least share one. Soooo good. Service is always great, and the staff and owners are so friendly and welcoming. They also have a separate room in the back for private gatherings and plenty of parking.“
“I was pleasantly surprised at the delicious meal I had at the BistroThere were 4 of us in our group and we all ordered something differentGenerous helpings and good pricesANGIE was very very nice and made us feel welcomeExcellent 5 star !!!!!“
“shout out to Benny's. placed an order tonight, well after the time advised for delivery, no food. Somehow our ticket was lost. they went above and beyond, made fresh food and delivered piping hot and with a smile. And the food was phenomenal... thank you Benny's !!“
“Located in a newer built strip mall in the highlands, it has plenty of parking so it is easy to get to. The deli seats plenty in their dining room and option for outdoor seating as well. Staff has been friendly consistently every time we have been here. We usually order takeout, all without any issues. Plenty of food options and weekly specials. Food tastes good and prices are standard. Would certainly recommend to others.“
“It might seem like this restaurant is sketchy, but that's absolutely wrong. The place offers incredibly delicious and high-quality food. We, a group of friends, tried various options, and most of them were a delight. The host is exceptionally nice and patient, providing detailed insights into the restaurant's history. What stands out the most are her valuable recommendations for the food.Wheelchair accessibility: Street level restaurant“
“I stop by Longworth’s every two weeks or so to have breakfast. The service is great, the food is excellent, and the overall atmosphere is very welcoming. If you are looking for an amazing start to your morning and enjoy supporting local small businesses, this is the place for you!“
