“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)“

“We stopped in about 7:30 for dinner and it was fabulous. The service was excellent despite the lateish hour and the food was fantastic. We had pumpkin ravioli to die for as an appetizer and I had chicken parm that was so tender and flavorful. My side of vodka linguini is a new favorite! So good! Hubby's chicken strips and penne was also great. I also recommend their strawberry salad. Always a great place to eat!“

“I love Frank's Place, I always stop by for a meal when I am heading home from the Wayne County area. First off the place is huge but given how it's laid out it feels intimate, the food is always great and it's a real gem for that area. If you are thinking of going out don't hesitate to check this place out. I travel out of my way to go there because it's so good.“

“We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Pronto! I started with a chocolate martini which was delicious! I got the chicken Pronto, my husband got chicken Dijon, my friend got veal marsala, and the fourth person got fish. All four of us enjoyed our meals very much! That doesn't happen very often! “Classical Italian dishes never a disappointment in all of my trips here. Have been both with small group and large group functions. The antipasto combinations have a variety to suit any palate. The pizza is a pleasant departure away from chain restaraunts. The warm fresh Italian bread is a must.“

“I usually go here for lunch but found out they do breakfast recently. I got it yesterday morning it was so good I had to get it this morning as well. Definitly one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the area (as well as lunch spots). The waffle breakfast sandwich is awesome! Keep up the awesome work!“

“Wow our first and surely NOT our last visit. From the time we walked in, we were greeted by Cathy our server who was very pleasant and asked if this was our first time visiting...so we advised yes. From start to finish the food and service was as if we were back in New York or even better back in Italy. Even Angelo the owner came out of the kitchen to introduce himself to us and sat and had a very nice conversation with us - ironically a small world coming from New York and Stroudsburg area as well as us. We started with the fried calamari and it was excellent. Dinner came with a choice of soup or salad...we choose the soups--both homemade and made to perfection. We ordered the chicken/eggplant combo with broccoli and the homemade ricotta gnocchi-both again were as if we were eating back in New York or in Italy. If you want a great, cozy, family restaurant then this hiding GEM a is definitely the place you would want to visit. We really can't thank Angelo and Kathy enough.....we will be back real soon for sure.“

“I can only tell you about my experience at the bar because I've never sat at a table for dinner. Food is excellent. I had chicken Parm last night which was fantastic. The red sauce is delicious. Not too sweet like some places. Bartender is awesome. Very attentive. Good selection or top shelf bourbon and nice wines. On the downside, it's expensive, and during the week it's pretty dead. Most definitely go there for the food not the bar experience.“

“Not a place to stay and eat , but there is a table or 2 so you can eat your pizza there. Pizza has been in this valley ever since I can remember. It's one of the most favored pizza in the valley. “Couldn't be more exquisite! I just went to dinner there so I can't comment on rooms. I say the location is excellent because they have outdoor dining overlooking the lake. But if you're just going for dinner it's about a 35 minute ride from Scranton, but well worth the drive, as there is no other place like it locally.The staff is utterly attentive. It's also beautiful overlooking the lake while the sun sets. Most importantly is the food. There was a group of us getting together as we went through school with everyone. We chose a five course dinner. Each dish was excellent. Served in a perfectly timed manner. There were several meat dishes which were extremely delicious. All dishes we had were as well. The cost for each of us was $90.00 for five courses. Very fair price for quality dishes.Also, it's so refreshing sitting outside close to the water. It creates a beautiful environment while dining. We ended up staying quite a long time, it may have been past closing, yet they never made us feel uncomfortable and never rushed us. If I had to choose among other restaurants, I would choose dining there above all other places. Perfect for special occasions.Food & drinks: As I stated, the food is five stars. There is also a bar on the deck so you never had to wait.Noteworthy details: Again, dining outside overlooking Crystal Lake is simply outstanding.“

The side salad was tiny, but the creamy garlic dressing was great. The chicken Parmesan was just okay, and the sauce on the angel hair pasta was so bland. At $30 for my meal alone, I expected much more.“
