“First time here for breakfast and had a wonderful experience. Friendly service, cinnamon bun pancakes were amazing, as well as breakfast sandwiches and home fries. Found out they are moving soon , but we look forward to following them to their new place. Prices were very reasonable too.“

The BlackWatch cafe is adorable, cozy, so unique. The selection is so innovative so it has a lot more to offer than just coffee. They definitely have a foam art and they do not disappoint here. They have smoothie that people rave about as well! But can we talk about the building itself? The roaring fireplace at the entry is perfect for a winter’s day or Autumn night! It's loaded with history and decorated with classic literary and fan pieces, interesting conversation pieces, and fun works of art. “Great place for vegan comfort food. Any time I'm missing the taste and texture of a super cheesy quesedilla, this is where I go -- its close enough to the real thing to quench that craving. Hubby loves the Wild Wild West burger and we both LOVE the smashed potatoes.The smoothies/shakes are freaking delicious too.“

“Back Burner Cafe provided catering after a family member passed away. I live away from the area and reached out to this business to deliver. The owner responded promptly and provided suggestions. The food was prepared and delivered the following day. Relatives reported that the food was delicious. It arrived hot and packaged well. I hope to stop in at the restaurant sometime when I am in the area. Highly recommended. A big plus is that it is woman owned and operated.“

I just wish they were open later in the day, it's hard to come here with the hours they have and wish there was more parking. “I wanted to try this spot for more than a minute. My boyfriend finally took me and I enjoyed it very much. The chicken pastina soup was simple and tasty and the little mini cupcakes were the perfect bite. The lemon scone was a little too biscuit tasting for me . Still yummy just not sconey. My boyfriend liked his soup and sandwich as well and we enjoyed our Java's. The only reason I left a star off is because you do have unpredictable waiting times. I received my coffee quickly but then they had to brew more so mine was almost gone when he got his. UnderstandableI'll go again for sure.
