“A restaurant full of history.Incredibly fun to walk through antique shop, fascinating treasures, interesting artwork, each room had a unique flavor and ambiance.Now, the food...Great authentic German cuisine experience. Pretzel-like bread was especially delicious. Great variety of different schnitzel and German meats. Didn't order and beer, but many different options available. Fresh and made right there in the adjoining kitchen to dining area. Feels intimate and as if you're enjoying a home cooked meal.Special recognition to the experience and atmosphere. Owners are great hosts and make you feel like family.”

“Saw some negative reviews so I wanted to set the record straight, this place is amazing! Not only is the staff always kind and great but the food is always awesome I always get the pizza as well as the chicken fingers and fries, in my opinion the Chicken fingers are some of the best I've ever had! The wings are pretty awesome too and always a speedy delivery. I don't have a problem with them changing around the menu or even the dining area because I always order out and if you wanted to you could still eat there, there's a back deck. This place is a staple of the area for me and will continue to always get my business whenever me and my family are around! Thank you Rollys, You are the BEST! 10/10 recommend for a quick bite!”

“My wife and I visited this place for the first time. There are not a lot of tables in the place and a lot of space between them. We were invited to sit, later they told us the table was reserved, but later they told us (again) that we don’t have to move. They apologized for the misunderstanding.Other than that moment, everything else was good. The food was good, the service, the wine and the salad.I got the pasta with scallops and I liked it.The prices were aceptable as well. No complaints on that.If I am around, I will visit again. Salute!”

“One of the best dining experiences in the area! The ambiance, service and food were all top notch! The marinated octopus and white bean appetizer was tender and delicious. The venison osso bucco was served over a dreamy cauliflower puree. A lot to choose from drinks to dessert!”

“We went with friends to enjoy dinner and discussion. The food was fantastic! And there was so much of it we took it home for dinner the next night which made the value even greater. Our server was on top of everything from drinks to special requests. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 for the atmosphere is because we were seated in the bar area versus the dining room. I prefer the dining room as it is less busy and noisy. Overall, The Ridge made it a wonderful evening with our friends!”

“Real Italian deli in Honesdale. Who would have thought. Great everything from sandwiches, pastry, soup...you name it. Have been going here for years, but moved out of the area. Now live in Brooklyn and this is on par with the local Brooklyn delis. Just went back to Honesdale for a visit and dropped by for lunch. Nothing has changed and it's the best deli for miles around.”

“The staff was very welcoming. She told us what food they were know for, she was definitely right!! Their cheese steak special is delicious, you get half a cheese steak and 6 wings of your choice.”

“The green beer certainly was flowing yesterday. The brewery was packed and standing room only for a while until the table cleared up, but there are plenty of alcoves and places to set your drink while you're pleasantly waiting. Nice touch with the Cousin's Maine Lobster food truck available for food with your beverages. Had a great time! The food and the beer were delicious.”

“Lowest prices, highest quality, and community oriented makes this ice shop a one of a kind place. Why else would 100 people wait in a line when other local ice cream shops are open. All of Honesdale ice cream shops are good, but no ice cream business within 100 miles can compare to Gravity Ice Cream!!”

“One of the most fascinating places I have ever been... from the barman to the chefs it is a succession of emotions... rarely is it possible to drink and eat so well in a place that you consider "far" from home. “Such a fun spot!!?Make sure to get the soft pretzel app; the homemade mustards are out of this world!! Side note: if you get a side salad, I recommend the house dressing because it is also made with the delicious mustard. All of our entrees were delicious and made with love. My personal favorite was the pork schnitzel with capers, but the tilapia was juicy and well-seasoned too. Also, the portions are generous, and they have an awesome selection of beer. We also got the Black Forest cake, which was pretty tasty and the right size to split with the table.But possibly the best part of Nurnberger Bierhaus? The staff!! Everyone was SO friendly and kind. Shout out to our awesome waitress, Bonnie, for making the experience. She had excellent recommendations! I will definitely be back to grab another beer and a brat :)”

“First time at Pauline's, and it was a pleasant surprise.Went to check out the hotdogs, and also tried a chicken cheesesteak with some fried.Everything was very good. The fries were delicious, the cheesesteak was good, and the hot dogs were great.There is a little arcade with pool tables, skeeball, a pinball game, air hockey, and several other games.Note: you use dollars to buy a refillable card to play the games...they don't take cash or quarters.Overall, worth stopping in for some good food if your in town.”

“This place was amazing! We left Kalahari to have dinner in town, and we came up on this fun restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious and they had many desserts to choose from, but the best part was all the activities that they have for the kids. They were a few bouncy houses/inflatable's, rock walls, ropes, and a large gymnastics/tumble mat. The service was very pleasant. I would highly recommend this place for anyone, especially with the family!”

“A little bit pricey but the coffee is really darn good. They have some pastries that they source from a bakery that are pretty tasty as well! Definitely the best coffee in the area. Also very nice decor inside.”

You could certainly tell who the regulars were and they too made us feel welcome. This place will continue to be in the rotation for fun while at the lake.”

“Wrangler BBQ Pit "season" is my FAVORITE time of year!! Car shows every Thursday & the best BBQ'd flesh since Kundlas. And I don't give that compliment out lightly. And Amy makes AMAZING margaritas!!! Extensive, beautifully maintained grounds with multiple levels, each containing dining &/or lounging areas with impressive natural features like wooden bridges with delightfully babbling brooks &there's even a large stone doorway to... who knows? Lol A true community treasure :))Parking: Very large gravel parking area by the restaurant. Car Show nights, when that fills, there are like 3 or 4 additional big fields to park in”

“I ordered my food to go. I got the yaki udon, seaweed salad, crab Rangoons, and Thai fried rice. Everything was really good. I really like that they have a wide variety of different dishes. And I especially love that they have seaweed salad and udon! Definitely worth the bit of a drive to go pick it up. I’ll be ordering from here again.”
