This was my first time at El Serrano, and from the outside, it looks intriguing. The atmosphere inside is nicely decorated even with a large faux stone statue (the kind you'd see in an Indiana Jones movie). The chairs are very heavy, almost clunky and not very comfortable. El Serrano is also a solid place to grab some Peruvian cuisine. Historically they did not take reservations, but you can make reservations through open table now. The service was excellent, atmosphere is always good. Food has gone down hill a little bit over the years, but still worth a visit. This is a beautiful restaurant and the service was perfect but it was so loud my husband and I had a hard time hearing each other.PS The drinks from the bar that we got, one of which was a strawberry margarita were perfect!
