“We absolutely love this place. The food is fantastic, very flavorful. I do wish they would bring back the roasted peppers. Wish they would try salmon sushi tots along with their tuna tots. Love their wait staff, they provide excellent service. The ambiance is nice, you can overlook the golf course, sit out on the deck or stay inside at the bar or tables.“

“My wife and I have eaten at Gibraltar many times and have always been impressed with the food and service. Last night my wife's fish entree was somewhat over-cooked (something we have never experienced at Gibraltar) and when she shared this information with the waiter, he immediately offered my wife another meal. Then the owner came out and apologized for any inconvenience. I am impressed with the level of customer service and they exceeded our expectations.“

“I had a wonderful solo experience here at the bar! Food was excellent, the wine was delicious and the staff was super friendly and engaging. I had a lovely conversation with a woman I met at the bar who turned out to be the chef’s girlfriend and got to meet him too. Such a lovely couple and his skills in the kitchen are amazing! I have come here for brunch as well and no matter what you order you will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!“

“This place is the spot for good home cooked comfort good. They have a great grab and go case , full meals and home made ranch dressing to take home . Baked goods , local chips and sodas , it's just great !!Parking: It's a bit tight but adequate. I was there 2 days ago and about 20 motorcycles fit easily , big ones . I have been coming every week with my mentor and awesome friend to get caught up and to break bread together over the past year. The owners are so kind and friendly. “We had amazing experience here! Jennifer, our waitress was funny, kind and attentive! This would have made our meal... BUT, the food was exceptional. My husband and I had duck, which we only eat out since I can't find to grill at home. However, on the Jersey Shore duck dishes now range from $42-$52. Our dinners were ONLY $25 and even better than our best restaurants. The house salad with balsamic was out of this world! I've never tasted such savory dressing. And dessert(s), apple pie and lemon sorbet... DOUBLY DELICIOUS! Oh! And a great bottle of Cab for $40! There are many great places to eat in Lancaster. However, this experience was truly memorable. My husband and I came at the suggestion of an inn keeper as we were in town for a show. I sheepishly told her that we don’t drink beer, only wine. So… we order a lamb burger and a fish & chips sandwich with…wine! And what a meal it was!!!! This place could teach the Jersey Shore a few things about a phenomenal culinary experience at a brewery! Look, there are many great places to eat in Lancaster. However, this experience was truly memorable. Thanks for an amazing lunch, you made our afternoon before went to the show. “After numerous people recommending John Wright, my wife and I decided to give it a try for our anniversary dinner. We did make a reservation. Everything was excellent - from the time we walked in til we walked out. Our server was very friendly, attentive and knew the menu well. The crab and corn risotto starter was absolutely delicious. I could order just several of those and be happy. I had the crab stuffed Mahi Mahi - it was so good, I was sad when it was gone haha. My wife had the seafood manicotti. Another fantastic dish we'd order again. The dessert was a light but mouth watering cheesecake. We can't wait for a little warmer weather to dine outside. The view of the river is great from inside but even better when we walked out to the patio.“

“I am absolutely impressed with this place. I’m currently pregnant and really struggling to find things that I enjoy to eat. Meat has been one of the things that I’ve been struggling with. I saw the balsamic glaze chicken on the menu and decided to ask the waiter if it was good and to describe to me what it tasted like since I worried about it being dry and me possibly wasting my money. The waiter mentioned my situation to the chef, Nestor, and the chef proceeded to come out, and asked me exactly how I would like it. He made a glaze and came out with it to let me try it which shocked me. It tasted AMAZING!!!! When they brought out my meal, it was the most I’ve enjoyed meat in weeks, it was so tender and full of flavor!! Thank you Nestor for you’re attention to detail. “1st time visit. The dining room is very big and bright. We did an early Friday dinner to get the AYCE fish fry. There seemed to be a lot of idle employees. Our waitress was extremely nice and efficient. The food was hot,good portions and tasted great. We did ask questions of 2 different waitstaff that neither could answer. We plan to come back so that's a good thing.Parking: Parking is right behind restaurant. It is tight but do able. The lot was full but restaurant wasn't. Don't know if employees also use the lot.“

“Really good food from this place. Pizza is always tasty and they give you giant jalapeño poppers instead of the tiny ones most restaurants use. I usually get delivery through grubgub but calling in your order I think is best. Had a delivery snafu recently that customer service fell well below expectations, but the managing partner Grant called me and fixed everything, which was greatly appreciated.“

“We came here over the weekend to enjoy cocktails and good food. Our server Alandra was wonderful. She had excellent recommendations and vert courteous manners. The espresso martini she suggested was the best I've ever had. We were very impressed, it was smooth with a very complex flavor profile. We ordered deviled eggs, the pepper bisque, scallops and burger. All of our food was exquisite, seasoned and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is the restaurant was cozy yet very modern, we enjoyed the renovations very much.
