“My gosh, with the loss of every Jewish Kosher deli in LA, tp experience an authentic old time Jewish Kosher Deli, it was a real joy.The food is more than excellent, and so delicious. Decided to try to the steak egg and cheese bagel for breakfast and when i first opened up the sandwhich and saw the cheese oozing out i knew it was gonna be the best steak egg & cheese bagel i ever had and it was. Almost hidden in the Jewelers' Row District is a small, hole-in-the-wall sandwich shop that will have you leaving with a big impression: their hoagies are just fantastic! I ordered a 10" roast beef hoagie with lettuce, onion, tomato, hot peppers, provolone, and mayo, and almost had difficulty finishing it because the sub was packed! Everything tasted fresh, and I was pleasantly surprised that the hot peppers actually had some heat to them.Pam, who rang me up, is a very sweet person, and the shop is run by her and Joe. “The meat on the sandwiches was sliced thin, which was great.The wrapping paper wasn't tight enough, and one half of a sandwich fell.Service was quick and friendly.Napkins and wet wipes should be provided for customers, especially since the food and drink are placed in paper bags for easy transport.I rated the atmosphere 2 because it was claustrophobically crowded, and overly warm.Kid-friendliness: Even my picky eaters could find a sandwich they liked.“

“This place rocked on lunches for when we were fixing up our new home, I guess you can say I'm a regular now. Coffee is the best corner store coffee I ever had. I have a coffee pot, but I prefer theirs. Snacks are always fresh, never stale, and lunch meat is awesome. Great prices, very clean place, great people that welcome you in, and they have my favorite coconut mexico popsicles that are fairly priced considering. Great place. I'm not crazy about their ATM machine though. I havnt been able to figure out how to bypass the balance check, and unfortunately I get charged a fee for that, plus withdrawal. Comes out to be $7 to take money out from that atm. Just make sure you go with cash. Other then that, the place is great!!“

“Great little place in south Philly a few minutes from I-95. Parking is a little tough. There is a small lot nearby. The SMALL steak is HUGE. $20 for a steak, coleslaw, and a drink. Cash only. I was there mid-afternoon and there was a line. Food came out fast. There was a picture of Babe Heffron and Bill Guarnere (101st Airborne) over the counter. When I said something, the entire group became incredibly friendly and shared a few stories about them.“

“4 minutes ago NEW Today I ordered a hoagie through grub hub, but when I received my order there was a mistake. After a quick call to the deli I was able to speak with one of the employees (who was very nice, professional and apologetic even though I know we all make mistakes and there were no hard feelings) but she and the manager were able to correct the order and even redeliver themselves! When I received the correct order and opened the bag they had a very sweet message with a nice treat to enjoy later. I rarely leave reviews and I feel as though most people focus on the negatives but this time I wanted to really highlight GREAT costumer service and their delicious food! Kudos to this great local deli!“

“Civera's is one of the best delis I know! I have ordered their Roast Beef, Pepper Ham sandwiches, and their cheese as far as food. They were very good. I think their side dishes, or "appetizers" could be more varied. They consist mostly of fries. I like everything else about Civera's. Their sandwiches are great, and their beer selection is good.
