Long long south philly resident but dont think ever bought their hoagies! My mom use go for grated cheese etc Well did order today & hoagies are delicious the old italian & the tuna just right as to spices bread awesome… BUT my negative they paid no attention to specifics & notes on order!!!! I’ve been going to Mancuso’s since the 70’s.My GM and my brother and I would take the train up to visit my Aunt. We would walk down to buy groceries, and we’d always get Scamorza (we called what sounded like Scumoats) with a salt bath! I still go frequently for it! I can’t wait to try the Hoagies! I met Jake and he will surely pass on Phillip’s legacy!Great place!

We ordered a sandwich platter for our wedding party to snack on while we got ready this past December. They got to the venue easily and quickly and the food was great! The sandwiches garnered the approval of all the old cranky men and that’s no easy feat.
