“The outdoor seating for this cafe had a lovely view of the pool and a bit of the mountain. The service was prompt and very friendly. The bar area had plenty of options to choose from, including a couple beers on tap.The food was definitely lacking, especially for the cost. The quesadilla was the highlight, with good seasoning and plenty of chicken and cheese. The green salsa that came with it was delicious and had just enough of a kick. The nachos were lackluster, and kind of felt like something I could make at home in the microwave for a third of the cost. The spring rolls were ridiculously small for the $13 price tag - easily eaten in one bite, and not outstanding taste-wise.For a dining spot in a pricey resort, we found it incongruent that we were served on plastic plates and with plastic utensils.When we had the option of eating here again the next day for lunch or driving down into town to find someplace else, we chose to go elsewhere. However, I do want to reiterate that the waitresses were very attentive and kind.“
“Went there for the first time on Friday night. We knew they didn't take reservations and were prepared to wait. We put our names in and were told it would be about 15 minutes which was fine. We were super excited as the restaurant looked really nice inside and we had heard the "ghost stories" so we were looking forward to the whole experience. Sadly the waitress came up and told us she was going to seat us in "the other dining room" which is just an extra room they use for small events and such. NOT the same ambiance as the main room for sure. Plus if you need to use the restroom you have to walk outside and back into the main room which is inconvenient. She should have asked if we were ok not being seated in the main dining area as we would have gladly waited a bit longer for that to happen. Our waitress was delightful and our drinks were very good. Food came out too quick after our appetizers....we literally had just started eating them when our food was there. Waitress did apologize so it was nice she realize that was a negative. Food was 8/10....would certainly come back and try other things!“

“Probably THE.BEST.BREAKFAST I have had in a very long time. The saltiness of the halloumi with the creamy, perfect poached egg and freshness of the pesto was a match made in heaven. And honestly, that is saying a lot for me, because I am not a huge breakfast fan, but I would hands down order this again, and again and again. I don't have much else to say. Out waitress was great. We didn't have a reservation (which I don't recommend on the weekend... this place is POP.U.LAR) but the hostess gave us a table if we could be done in 75 minutes, in time for an 11:45 AM seating. Despite that, they did not rush us. The place does appear to be a neighborhood haunt, just about everyone who came through the door seemed to know, what I presume is the owner or manager, as well as the staff. So there was definitely a nice, casual vibe to the place. I honestly need to come back for dinner, if breakfast, a meal I generally don't care about was this good, what other surprises await?!?“

We started with some drinks, both of us ordering martinis. I had the high octane espresso martini and my friend had the pumpkin martini. They both were extremely delicious and strong. I was all giggily by the time the food came lol. For our main course we ordered the tomahawk, with potatoes and broccoli for sides. The sides were delicious even though simple very complimentary to the star of the show. The steak was FANTASTIC!!!! The price for this tomahawk was extremely reasonable it was a 10 out of 10. Because we got a tomahawk we were given an $11 deal for a bottle of wine for later. It was the most prelude to an amazing evening. They were some of the largest wings I have ever seen! Full of meat. The sauce had excellent flavor but fell short on the heat for my taste. The wings were cooked through but flaccid. The skin was not crips and was just on the other side of boiled. I mentioned this to the server and she explained the cook wasn't in today and the owner was cooking. I very politely suggest they need more time in the fryer to get crispy. If these wings had crisp on them they would be excellent! I cannot complain too much because they had a half price special today and were only $6. The bleu cheese served with the wings was very tasty and I enjoyed it. I thought this was a tremendous value. “The Cooperhead is great! If you live in the LV then you have more than likely been to one of their two locations. It is like Applebees or Fridays, but way better. My wife and I have been here a dozen times and we are never disappointed! My personal favorite is the mozzarella sticks as they are house-made and huge! I also love their tap list as they have many beer varieties and you can always find something good (sometimes local). Their burgers are good, sandwiches are good, salads are good, etc. They have healthy options as well if you are looking for something light. Portion sizes are good as well and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!“

“It does not matter how many places we try, the Catty Corner is our go to neighborhood restaurant. It is not dark and dingy like Race Street, there isn't a young bartender with severe control issues like Hammerhead (she is really MEAN), and you don't feel like you are in a loud cave like Grove Street ALL while being ignored. The employees all say hello and smile (ALL ~ kitchen and counter staff, drivers, waitresses and bartenders, the owners). They consistently work together to ensure a satisfying experience and the food is great. Even the outside dj's are personable and bring a positive energy. More places should model the Catty Corner.“

“Initially I was going to give 4 stars. But it was really a 5 star experience. First of all the service was fast and friendly. Second the place is super clean. I also appreciated the precautions they are taking at this time. There was a partition and you pass your money but placing into a tray and they give your change back through the tray. It also seems they take cards. Now I to the food. I had the 2 dog lunch special. I had both with chili, mustard and onions. While I got the standard valley dog shop toppings there are a lot of other toppings to choose from. I definitely want to try some other combinations. The dogs were quite good. However I felt the chili was a little lacking. Not a lot of flavor to me. But not worth taking off a star. I had my lunch special with a bag of chips and a can of soda. The bags of chips are really big for a lunch special. You can also get potato or macaroni salad. That's for my next visit. My dad had the sausage sandwich with peppers, onions and marinara sauce. He enjoyed it. It seems as though the sausage was stewed in the sauce with the peppers and onions. He said the sausage was very tender. He also had a bag of chips and an iced tea. All in all a really good experience and I will most definitely come again.“

I'll compare this to a couple NJ restaurants I've found the be outstanding, Bernardsville inn and the now defunct Chef Michael White's Due Terre(Osteria Morini) and Due Mari.Always wanted to try this place but opted out due to no online reservation. (me being lazy and not calling) Well it was the wife's birthday and even though we already did dinner at Melt yesterday today being her birthday and a last minute whim was able to get seats at the bar. This restaurant topped everything I've visited so far in PA since 2013. I wish I came here instead of Melt and I love Melt. We even sat next to a couple from our old home town of Piscataway NJ. Small world. The other patrons at the bar (locals, regulars) assured me this was "the place" The food was amazing. Best calamari appetizer ever. It was not the traditional breaded and fried. This was sautéed with spinach, red peppers and gnocchi. Absolutely delicious.The lamb chops and the filet was cooked to perfection. Drinks outstanding. The bartenders were also amazing, polite and accommodating. I am disappointed I haven't tried this place sooner.This will be in the regular rotation from now on.“
