“We celebrated my husband's birthday at Casbah yesterday. It was a wonderful dinner. Our server, TJ was absolutely wonderful--- professional, friendly, funny. “I visited Bar Botanico roughly 1 month ago. I entered the building and almost turned around out the door because it looked crowded. The host politely shouted out "we have room for two" so my partner and I returned back. He let us know he could get our drink order while we waited for a two top table to clear which he assured us would happen soon. My partner has severe peanut, tree nut and shellfish food allergies and the host asked us immediately about our allergies. While my partner got beer (allergy comfort zone), they ensured my drinks were made in a separate shaker and let him know that he could try them if he wanted since they made them separate and left out any allergens. This was a lovely place for someone with allergies and it was really unexpected and wonderful. I will definitely be back. Oh I forgot to add the drinks were delicious, I enjoyed watching the bartenders work. We did not eat here so I can't speak to the food but very happy with everything else we experienced.Dietary restrictions: Very allergy friendly/accommodating.“

“Tried but couldn't get a table at Piccolo Forno - owned by the same folks as Grapperia Bar Classico. Instead, we ordered take out from Piccolo Forno and ate at the bar. The bar staff were awesome! They provided us plates and silverware and were very welcoming. They have a good wine selection and an even better selection of different varieties of grappa and amaro. Definitely give Grapperia Bar Classico a try when you're in Pittsburgh!“

The music was good late 80's and 90's Hip-Hop. They understood what, by definition, is a Mixtape. Google it and see of Indi-pop pops up... Nope! There were soft openings that advertised Indie Pop and David Bowie? Not to knock either, but at Mixtape? The new owners found old plans that made Mixtape a dance lounge, so now you can dance there? “Nice bar with a dj, and a small dance floor. The place is cool, and the music makes you want to dance. The beer and drink selection is good with a neat combo menu (beer and a shot) on the wall. The only negative is that it is small, so on weekends it is normally packed. Overall, good place though.“

“This is a very simple place. They offer burgers and fries. And they do burgers very well. The smash burger was fantastic. And I loved the sauce they put on it. It was not over cooked and dry. I would highly recommend it as one of the better burgers in the city. All ordering is done via a QR code at a table or at the bar. It is inside of a coffee shop so you can also order coffee or tea. And they have a small selection of canned/bottled beer available as well. I believe they also will deliver over to Row house cinemas and Bierport if you are there as well.“

“While on a biz trip to Pittsburgh I had a chance to visit Lawrence hall. This unique eatery offers several counter style restaurants, a bar and plenty of indoor seating. I was informed the restaurants close from 3-4p. The bar, called Dear James was open and had a nice selection of craft cocktails, beer and wine. I chose a French 75 made with botanist gin and St. Germain. The drink was soooo good! One of the best French 75's I have had. We did not dine at any of the restaurants but the food from La Palapa looked really good!“

We walked into the first restaurant we saw not having high hopes just looking for somewhere to eat and not have to wait for hours. We chose the right place! The wait wasn't nearly as bad as we thought (only about 25 mins) and the service, food, and atmosphere were perfect. Everyone was so kind from host and hostess to the wait staff.
