“They definitely gained my business and respect.Tonight ( 1 /19/24 ) roads were terrible, snow kept coming and was falling fast we weren't risking going out. We found them online and figured we would try it out and see if they'll even deliver.They clocked us around 45mins to about an hour. I was fine waiting however long they needed given the conditions of the roads.Less than 30 minutes they pull up an everything was perfect. Toppings weren't all over the place, everything was evenly cooked and then they risk everything delivering in under the estimated time.Excellent service and great job to everyone there tonight. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. “Food is incredible! Truly, one of the South Hills hidden gems. Will definitely be back. Lots of people ordering pick up also, so that’s always an option. “I have had the good fortune to be a customer of Fioris for over 40 years! My ex husband worked at the Brookline location when he was a teenager and Fiori and Pepino were family friends. I have lived in several places and have tried hundreds of pizza shops in my lifetime and I can honestly say that nothing beats Fioris, not even Via Napoli at Walt Disney World! My personal recommendations are pepperoni pizza (they put the pepperoni under the cheese) and a meatball sub "my way" which simply means extra sauce and extra cheese. “We went there for take out on Sunday night for dinner. Tried a small babaganus, regular falafel, one assorted aladin special kebab platter and one seesh kebab platter. The platters comes with buttered rice. Some of them comes with salad as well. The food taste really great. All the kebabs were very well cooked There, flavorful and tender. Babagsnus was very tasty as well. There was a pita with one of the above dishes but not sure with which dish I got the pita. My complain is about the quantity. The platters cost anywhere between 17 and 21 dollars. Given the price the quantity was not what I was expecting. Also the dips like tahini sauce or garlic sauce were not free which was kind of wired. They will change you 75 cents for that. The ambiance looked ok to me. There were one one couple eating in the restaurant when I went to order. So not sure if it gets busy during some other time of the day. There were ample parking available. The shop also sells cakes like carrot cake tiramisu and baklava. The service was really good. I ordered upon reaching there. It took them under 15mins to hand over my order“

I ordered a small pizza for $8, and was ready in 15-20ish minutes. “We were fairly regular customers and always had great service at the bar - that ended about a month ago, and we haven’t been back since. I wouldn’t recommend going on a Sunday and sitting at the bar if there’s a Lisa there. She gave us an attitude from the beginning and explained that Sunday was “her Friday” and she was tired - also told us that she wouldn’t be chatting. Another server came over and said that he wanted to speak to “these two gentlemen” to which she responded, “They’re not gentlemen”, and lied when I brought it to her attention. After she dropped off our food - literally - she went back to the kitchen and totally ignored another gentleman at the bar. We spent a pretty good chunk of change here and ALWAYS tipped above most, but we haven’t been back since. I know I should have brought this to Management’s attention before this, but life happens and she really meant nothing to us. So, Lisa - congratulations! “Been going here for years as a Rennerdale resident and the Corner Store is a neighborhood institution.The pizza is fantastic, especially the buffalo chicken ranch (BCR). I can actually remember when it was under previous ownership when I was a little kid and people a joked about the corner store pizza but ever since maybe 10-15 years ago it has been excellent. The owner is really nice and seeing her friendly face helps to keep Rennerdale’s Mayberry feel. We’re very proud to have the Corner Store as our local spot.Their hoagies are also great! Haven’t tried every item but if you’re around, definitely order a BCR - and get a large size; you’ll want a few slices.“

“We visited Anthony's on the recommendation from a work colleague. Upon entering, we made our way to the bar had a seat. It took a few minutes for for the bartender to greet us, at which point we were already ready to order.My coworker remarked that this would be a good place to bring a group of people after looking around and seeing the rather well-kept dining room. A quick look at the bar area told a different story, though. Granted, it's a bar and prone to spilled drinks, which are often sugary. I got the sense that a thorough cleaning of the bar area wasn't management's top priority. This was confirmed when our food was brought out.I ordered an appetizer of the garlic knots, which were amazing. Good size knots that were well cooked, with plenty of garlic, butter, and salt. They had a good color on top and very crispy, but the insides we're neither overdone nor underdone. It was enough garlic on top to really enjoy but also question if you were going to regret it later. After only a few minutes of sitting there, several small flies seem to appear out of nowhere and start flying around the food. This is what caused me to think that the bar cleanliness wasn't quite Management's priority.Main entrees were brought out and did not disappoint. My colleague got the coal-fired wings and, upon taking his first bite once they had cooled (they seem to have been cooked in a nuclear furnace), declared them to be the best wings he had ever had. I got the coal-fired chicken sandwich which was honestly overcooked. The focaccia was dry, but still fluffy. The chicken was definitely overcooked as well cup of with some corners of the piece almost impossible to bite through. I let the bartender know of the situation, and she immediately asked if I wanted some additional vinaigrette, which I agreed it needed. It was brought out within seconds and helped make the sandwich a little more manageable to chew. I ended up taking some garlic and butter from the garlic knots and adding it to the focaccia which only increased the enjoyment factor.Overall, I give the restaurant four stars. The constant issue of flies hovering around our food really soured us to the whole experience. The wings were amazing, the garlic dots were amazing, and the folks at the bar next to us had a pizza that looked really amazing. I would go back, but definitely not sit at the bar. “This is my review from Yelp for the new CASTLE SHANNON LOCATION. The pizza pops! I mean that in a great way and wanted to start the review out by saying so. I was excited when I saw the 'coming soon' sign. I've never had their pizza before but looking at the website, the pictures were enticing. I even called the number for the CS location. I got Greg who was in there doing last minute stuff. He told me when they were opening, he was really nice about it. So let's get to the pizza, shall we? It's square. The crust is light, crispy and flavorful. The sauce is ZEE best (See how I did that there). I love square pizza and I go to other areas to get it because we haven't had good square pizza since Jim's back in the early 90s. Now we have Jimmy Z's and I couldn't be more thrilled. Having grown up in the city, it was a staple and a treat to go to another pizza place. I won't say the name, but it sounds like Leedos. Where they have square pizza and cold cheese on top. I would go there despite the numerous times they were out of pizza (Yep no lie) and the staff just needs to attend "Sunshine is Us' school of customer service. But I put moody teens aside and trudged there. Now, no more. I don't have to. I get better pizza from Jimmy Z's and ... and I get service with a smile. They are so polite and welcoming. I also tried one of their Zoagies. If you get one, get it with everything. They're absolutely ZEElicous. When I find a place I like, I am like an old faithful dog. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were out of soups. Hard to park with small lot size. All and all it was ok I guess.
