“I stopped by here on a Tue night for an early dinner with my husband after hiking nearby on the Fossil Cliffs trail. We found it on Google and decided to try it based on Google reviews. We both ordered burgers with the house chips and shared an appetizer of Mac n cheese bites (menu posted on here is not up to date), and the food was excellent. Everything we had was super good. There were about 15 patrons here with only one server/bar tender, but we felt the service was pretty good given there was only one person working. The server came to our table fairly soon after we sat down and food came out fairly quickly. My only service gripe was that the appetizer was served as the same time as the entrees which kind of defeats the purpose of ordering an appetizer. Food was very reasonably priced and on the cheaper side for dine-in of this quality. In terms of atmosphere, this place was very divey with few windows, but it was nicer than we expected compared the dumpier look on the outside. While it's clearly in an older building, the place was very clean and clearly has been remodeled somewhat inside to be more modern for a dive bar. My one complaint would be the chairs and stools were a bit cheap and dated looking with some chair backs having rips on them and a few wobbly tables. The place also had a faint musty/smokey kind of bad smell when we walked in. My nose got used to it pretty quickly, so it wasn't too bad, but was noticeable when walking in. This place also has a number of gambling machines and a pool table in the back which gave a divey feel, but would be a plus for those into those things. In terms of parking, there's ample street parking outside.I'd give the food here 5/5 and would definitely recommend this place for good burgers and bar food and cheap drinks. The only reason I gave overall 4/5 was bc of the cheap/old ripped chairs/stools, a few wobbly tables, slightly musty/smoke smell, kinda dark inside, and the appetizer not be served prior to the entrees detracting a little from the vibe a bit. This is a great place to stop for lunch along the Panhandle Trail.“
“We’ve been saying for years that we are going to stop here and eat sometime. Today was finally “sometime” and now I regret not eating here sooner! It’s a great hole-in-the-wall type of diner. Food was delicious, service was friendly and warm. It’s a small menu with all the right choices plus a couple of daily specials. Lots of food for a great price. I had to take half of mine (half shown in the pic) home with me. We left saying, “see you next time!”“
“Dustin was our server & he was absolutely amazing! We almost left because we prefer to sit at the bar, but the bartender Ronnie did not even look up at us or acknowledge in anyway shape or form, but then we found Dustin and sat in his area & he made our experience well worth it.“
“I have to say I was impressed with the young man that took my order…Dave! He was amazing. If I asked question about the spiceness of a food, he immediately grabbed me a sample. AWESOME! I was able to make my order easily after that and the food was great! I’ll definitely be back! This is a put your in and find yourself a seat type of place. I liked the set up!“
“I got a standard breakfast and it was good. Served by owner Jojo who is supernice. Nice diner atmosphere. Looks like she’s been in business a long time. The only feedback I would give is to please please please do not wear perfume. To be clear, I should not smell my server in anyway at all. I shouldn’t smell their body odor, nor should I smell what is covering up their body odor. Nothing. Completely neutral. No smell at all. That means their body or their breath. Nothing.Please.“
“I love the burgers at twin peaks. I recently started going here, and I fell in love with the hangover burger. I buy the billionaire bacon as well, sooo good. I like the fries as well, but they have a bit too much seasoning for me. I also enjoyed the blonde beer. The staff is also pretty cool never had an issue with them. And I can't wait to go back and get another hangover burger.Vegetarian options: Salads and they have bean burgersDietary restrictions: Just ask them to take whatever off or exchange the meat for beansParking: A lot of parking just a tonWheelchair accessibility: There's a ramp in the front, I believe.“
“We stayed the night at the hotel before our morning flight and decided to get something to eat at Caroline’s Restaurant and it did notDisappoint. The coconut shrimp special was delicious and the service was great. Brianna was very attentive and friendly- wonderful waitress!! Will definitely be back!“
“Billie Ann's was a great experience. Our waitress was very friendly and quick to attend to our table. Food was really good. I absolutely think they should keep the fresh cut fries on the menu. I got the pancakes and my wife got the French toast and both were very good. All the food came out in a timely manner. The true Hallmark of a great establishment is when the owner comes out greeting and busting tables. I would recommend anyone to go. Get there early it fills up fast.“
“Downey’s House is a local spot with a LOT of charm and amazing food. The Italian rolls are early the best thing on the menu. Service is always great and the bartenders keep the place running with their excellent service and friendliness. “
“Was served by the owner, very kind, conversational and was unfortunately out of rice. So he compromised and gave me a massive plate of fries. A cheesy example of putting the customer first. Incredible food and incredible service, no wonder why they’ve been around for so long! Thank youDietary restrictions: I have celiacs disease and DID NOT have a reaction when eating the fries. For those who have gluten related issues, this place was fine for me!“
“My girlfriend and I are recent regulars. It has quickly become our favorite brunch spot in Pittsburgh. The food is consistently amazing but what ultimately keeps us coming back are the people. They truly care about their customers and they quickly feel like a second family. I wish I could give this place more stars.“
“We were passing through and ordered two apps at half price and a burger medium rare. Apps were great but when we took a bit of the burger, it was raw inside. The waitress was nice and had our burger remade. Good burger but we were charged for the raw burger as well as the one we ate. It could have been accidental but maybe not. Good place for food but recommend checking your receipt.“
“Food is incredible! Truly, one of the South Hills hidden gems. Will definitely be back. Lots of people ordering pick up also, so that’s always an option. Probably one drawback though, to making sure in-house customers are taken care of promptly. There were a decent amount of people, so expect to wait a little bit. I believe they’re hiring servers though! So, check out Bee’z Bistro; you won’t be disappointed. And, ask for their specials menu!“
“We chose to have my daughter’s birthday dinner at Cracker Barrel. She loves the tips, chicken,&shrimp. As do I. When our food was delivered, the two of us were very disappointed in the quantity that we were served of the trio. It was like they made one order and then split it between the two of us. We couldn’t even eat the steak tips. They were so over done. You couldn’t cut them with a knife let alone chew them. The restaurant was extremely busy. We did wait an hour for a table that was only supposed to be 20 minutes. This is the first time we have been disappointed in this Cracker Barrel.“
“Hands down some of the best service and food I have had in a very long time. The impossible burgers that my dad and I had were cooked to perfection! My mom lived her crab cakes. She's gotten them before and absolutely loves them! You seriously cannot go wrong. Our waitress was wonderful. The young man who brought us our food was awesome as well! We will dine here again without a doubt! Thank you for making my birthday a good one!“
“Have been a customer for a very long time. The service has always been very good. The food as well as the environment are amazing. I have had the fish sandwich, off of the lent menu, three times already this Lenten season. It is really good, and comes out very hot. Everyone should give it a try!“
“This is a fantastic place to eat! We had an awesome breakfast that more than fill the platter for a very affordable price. The waitress was very nice and has a great personality. The cook was very friendly as well and very accommodating by asking how some of our items we wanted prepared.“
“Central Diner & Grille is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places! Family-owned and operated, it has a welcoming atmosphere for any occasion. My favorite is the Mediterranean Omelet but I have not had a bad experience with any dish. The food presentation is always picture-perfect. The servers and all staff are polite and efficient. If you have never gone, I recommend you try them today!“
“Our first time at this location. We started with sangria and a long island ice tea. The sangria was excellent, so I had two. The long island ice tea was good not great. Then we ordered Cesar salads - they are large, not a side salad - but good. Then we had the half rack of ribs with a baked potato and the 12 oz ribeye with fire grilled corn on cob. The ribs were just warm. The baked potato was excellent. The ribeye was a perfect med rare - excellent, and the corn was good. Overall a good meal. However the entire place needs a good dusting - don't look up. We may try again in the future.“
“The most unique menu in the area and best experience I have ever had from Miami to NYC and in between. Even including international dining - I would choose Hyeholde first, any day. Personal, family, business events…the consistency is unbelievable! A hidden gem that has no equal.“
“Food and service was all great. Typical price for a meal was roughly $15. Friendly staff and the place was very clean. Only issue I had was, given their extensive bourbon list, they didn't have cubes or balls for the bourbon. Too many little ice cubes watered down the drinks too quickly (I've been told the South Side location always serves over large cubes)Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Kid's menu and kid friendly options/atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and large open restroom stalls“
“This was our 1st visit after reading many online reviews. And we are so happy we stopped. It has the best staff, and a cute and clean restaurant The food was amazing. We had wonderful pizza with a prefect thin & crispy crust, tasty sauce and the right amount of toppings. The hot wings were outstanding! Best fried mushrooms and our take home slices of red velvet cake were great! We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Perfect for kids. Lots of choices.“
“Out of the many gastropubs that have been popping up, this has been my favorite! The menu is diverse in both food, beer, and cocktails. They have daily and monthly drink specials, the monthly beer special is a great way to try a certain brewery. The food is fantastic tasting and is a great value for the price. The atmosphere is fresh and fun. Great location with lots of parking.“
“Breakfast was so good. This is my first time here. I had a meat and cheese omelette with potatoes and rye toast. It was excellent. The portion was so big I had something to take home. Excellent! First experience. I would definitely go back.“
“I always enjoy stopping by the Walnut Grille in Robinson. Kara and Kelsey C took care of me and my friends tonight, both were very friendly and attentive even when it was very busy. Manager Meagan stopped by to check on us. The whole staff is great. Love the Potstickers.“
“My mom has an autoimmune disease, which means we still need to be careful when going into public places. When I called the manager at DeeJays Collier location to explain the situation and how I wanted to have a birthday party for the first time since the pandemic, he was immediately accommodating. We were going to try to make the outdoor patio work for my mom’s safety, but sadly the weather did not cooperate that day. No worries because upon arriving at the indoor party room he reassured us that everything had been disinfected and throughly cleaned. He also had the Pens game up on the TV for us so that was an added bonus! In addition to Nick’s incredible hospitality, our server Trinity was a trooper! When she first came in to check on mom and I she kept her distance to be respectful and was so kind to our entire party. She was so efficient with providing additional customer service and we were so lucky to have an incredible experience there. That day was made special thanks to Nick & Trinity, so I want to shout them out for making my first birthday party in over 4 years so special for me and our family & friends!“
“This is our “go-to” place any time we don’t feel like cooking. The wings are always fire. We share them every time and usually get our “regular” things. Rarely do we stray from the menu- but tonight we tried the seasonal menu. Mark W was our server, and when I hesitated about ordering the Street Torta, he gave me his seal of approval. The sandwich was DELICIOUS and I would love to see it on your year-long menu. Also, not sure I would have tried without Mark recommending! So, very grateful for always speedy, reliable, tasty dinner. (the beer selection is obviously above average too!)“
“Some of the best wings with adventurous flavor choices with the classic options. It's awesome.Kid-friendliness: It is a bar. Please remember this is a bar. But they do offer take out. And you can call, order and pick up. The burgers are dope too.“
“Been wanting to come here for years. Finally made time to stop by. Only suggestion I would make is service. The pizza takes awhile which is understandable however the check was brought to the table while we were still eating. Would have ordered more drinks and dessert if offered. But that was okay Dairy Queen is right next door.Did appreciate getting a Wednesday special discount even though I thought the pricing was fair to begin with.“
“We had not been to a Texas roadhouse in years. We were in the Bridgeville area and decided to grab some drinks and lunch. Everything was perfect. Nicole the bartender was friendly and attentive. The food was great. My chicken fried steak was huge, tasty and tender. This was a good pick.“
“I was craving a gyro and someone suggested this place. It was Delicious! I only did pick up so I can't say much about the atmosphere. It's definitely not fancy but I'd rather they keep focusing on food over atmosphere. I'm now a returning customer.Parking: Located in a tiny strip, parking is convenient in front of the building and right off the main access road.“
“A large group from Hockey tournament went there on Saturday afternoon. We were expecting a long went but they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food was great Turtle soup excellent. We had young kids with us that were excited and loud. No one seemed to mind. The food came out fast hot and good. We will be backKid-friendliness: Excellent they treated the kids great“
“Wow! This place is welcoming, cozy and the food is delicious. The wings are something special. You get full wings with sauce on the side for dipping or dousing. The picture doesn't do justice to how good they are. Can't wait to go back!Parking: Parking is tough, easier to park on the street“
“It was a great experience. At 1st I went to the bar a cross called Penn Brewery but they took forever to serve me so I walked over. The bar tender “Tee” was quick and welcoming. I had a great time, food came out quick just like the drinks. Made my flight wait alot easier.“
“Tried this place last night for the first time since they were having 1/2 off wings. I got 10 hot honey and 10 whiskey maple bbq..the hot honey ones were the best although I enjoyed both flavors. Service was just ok nothing exceptional the dining experience was ruined in my opinion by an extremely loud gentleman at a nearby table. Most likely we will not go there again as my boyfriend was not as impressed with the wing flavors as I was.“
“Let's just say after hearing about Primanti Bros. All weekend , and now finally getting to experience this amazing place and the history they preserve thru the amazing food and the story behind it . Let's just say I am an instant fan of Primanti Bros. And there delicious preservation of history. Equally, I'm a fan of Amy, the waitress who took the time to go over the history behind Primanti Bros. She is such a delight, an add bonus to the whole experience.“
“Tuesday, 12/26: Started calling at 915pm.. they never answered.. Drove by, saw they were open.. husband walked in at 940pm, young kids standing around.. kid #1 looked like a deer in headlights.. kid #2 said they "ran out of dough."If you're open until 10, why do you stop answering the phone so early?? Obviously, this happens on a frequent basis, usually on Tuesday nights. The kids stop answering the phone earlier & earlier each week (yes, we try to order weekly). It went from 930, to 920, now 915?? If you don't call before then, no one answers!!If the hoagies & pizza weren't some of the best around, we'd discontinue our patronage..“
“Heard that they had a good fish sandwich so of course I had to try em. Plenty of parking and seated promptly. The waitress was on top of things the whole time and very pleasant.I had the fish sandwich and it was a home run. So good that I would put it up there with the Cupka's 2 (on a good day), and the greats of the past like Neid's (Lawrenceville) and Armand's (Bloomfield). My girlfriend had a buffalo chicken salad and gave it a 8/10. She loved the grilled veggies they include in it.We tried some wings that were cooked well but could've used more sauce for sure.Portions are impressive and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.“
“We Have Experienced The Restaurant And The Bar. We Mostly Utilize The Bar Area.Always A Quality, Welcoming, First Class Experience. If You Enjoy An"Old Fashion" As Far As I'm Concerned Nowhere Does Them Better.Quality Food/Outstanding Service“
“Came in from out of town and found this place. I wish I could take it home. Dione was fantastic and made us feel welcome even though we tried to close the place down every night. I would recommend this place to anyone rather local or from out of town fantastic service, and good food.“
“Super super friendly staff very fast with drinks and our food came out pretty quickly as wellAlot of food I got 12 wings big wings and decent amount of frys and it was karottate no I didnt sing but great place to get something to eat and or drinkParking: Big parking lot“
“Overall good service but with a mishap for my friend and long wait time. I came with a few girlfriends for brunch. The meal that I ordered (pancake, potatoes and sausage) was great. However we all waited at least 40 mins to get our meals. Not only that the waiter messed up one of my friend's order and gave her the wrong food! But they did apologize and gave her a gift card. I would come back for the food but not during peak hours.“
“This place was pretty fun. I randomly went here with a friend because we saw it was DJ night. Once we got there there are 2 separate areas. One for the dance floor and then the bar. If you wanted to order any food or drink during an event, you have to go to the bar to do so. The food was fairly priced and I loved their cheese fries! They use queso blanco!!!! And their burgers are huge! It overall was a cute place to go to listen to music and have some good vibes“
“Best food, best service, awesome vibe. My new favorite breakfast place. Picky teenager approved also!*Have to edit* for some reason it didn’t have an option for the eggs Benedict on the reviews but it should be!!! Best traditional eggs Benedict I’ve ever had!!!“
“8 of us after work stopped in on February 24th around 9pm and our waitress was named Morgan. She was a rockstar, very friendly and fast and efficient. Everything we ordered from appetizers to our meals was spot on and cooked properly. We never ran out of our refills or rolls, which were hot and tasty each time they arrived. We had 8 separate checks and they were all in order on the table pay tablet to make us paying and checking out so much easier and convenient. Morgan is a valuable asset to Texas Roadhouse. I would highly recommend sitting in her section.“
“We visited Anthony's on the recommendation from a work colleague. Upon entering, we made our way to the bar had a seat. It took a few minutes for for the bartender to greet us, at which point we were already ready to order. My coworker remarked that this would be a good place to bring a group of people after looking around and seeing the rather well-kept dining room. A quick look at the bar area told a different story, though. Granted, it's a bar and prone to spilled drinks, which are often sugary. I got the sense that a thorough cleaning of the bar area wasn't management's top priority. This was confirmed when our food was brought out.I ordered an appetizer of the garlic knots, which were amazing. Good size knots that were well cooked, with plenty of garlic, butter, and salt. They had a good color on top and very crispy, but the insides we're neither overdone nor underdone. It was enough garlic on top to really enjoy but also question if you were going to regret it later. After only a few minutes of sitting there, several small flies seem to appear out of nowhere and start flying around the food. This is what caused me to think that the bar cleanliness wasn't quite Management's priority.Main entrees were brought out and did not disappoint. My colleague got the coal-fired wings and, upon taking his first bite once they had cooled (they seem to have been cooked in a nuclear furnace), declared them to be the best wings he had ever had. I got the coal-fired chicken sandwich which was honestly overcooked. The focaccia was dry, but still fluffy. The chicken was definitely overcooked as well cup of with some corners of the piece almost impossible to bite through. I let the bartender know of the situation, and she immediately asked if I wanted some additional vinaigrette, which I agreed it needed. It was brought out within seconds and helped make the sandwich a little more manageable to chew. I ended up taking some garlic and butter from the garlic knots and adding it to the focaccia which only increased the enjoyment factor.Overall, I give the restaurant four stars. The constant issue of flies hovering around our food really soured us to the whole experience. The wings were amazing, the garlic dots were amazing, and the folks at the bar next to us had a pizza that looked really amazing. I would go back, but definitely not sit at the bar. Overall, do recommend.“
“Hidden gem with great food and staff. Husband and son always stop here when they are in the area. Young lady behind the bar quickly sat us down, gave us the option of sitting in bar area or dining area, and service was great. Don't pass it by!“
“We got this for the first time over the weekend. We got it to go. The fries are so good I couldn't stop eating them. They dump the extra they make in the bag so it was full of fries. So many we couldn't eat half of them. The burgers are really good too. You pick your toppings. I got a little cheese burger, which idk why their called Little when it's regular size. It was really tasty. I'm not a huge burger fan but I am of theirs now. They make them while you wait so you know their frsh. My dog had a $6 jot dog, no bun. He enjoyed it. Wanted more.So yea a bit pricey but we'll worth it. We spent $46 for 2 ppl and the hot dog. 2 burger and 2 fries. Give it a try if your in the burger mood.Parking: Parking iffy. You can find a place but it might not be in front.“
“I love rough cut the food is amazing I’ve never had any complaints until tonight. :( my burger was a little to done, we barely got any good fries it was all the scraps and the soft pretzel was hard:( maybe it was just a off night but I hope it’s amazing the next time I come like it normally “
“Wife and I shared a small salad, fried clams appetizer, and a veggie calzone. Food, service and value was excellent. Wife and I felt the atmosphere was pretty poor though for a few reasons.1.) The entrance seemed very backwoods bar like. Good for a bar, bad for a restaurant.2.) The entrance smelled of smoke coming from the separate bar area, but once we entered the restaurant area the smell of smoke disappeared. We will definitely eat there again. If they improved the atmosphere we would eat there often.“
