“I didn't like the first plain/traditional slice I had since they were taken from the traditional pie which just came out of the oven. They were both floppy (cheese fell off). After some time, when I asked for pepperoni and cheese slices, they were both really good. I believe when they reheated the slices, they were no longer floppy and cheese remained on the slices. Their sauce is a little sweeter so I had to compensate that with pepper flakes but overall slices were fresh and good. Service was very friendly. Cash only.“
“Had lunch for the first time in years on 3 /20..Had a very nice server Maria .Did an excellent job.We ordered 2 apps and a caprese salad to start.Arancinni And the meatballs.Came out quickly and were excellent.Nice portions, cooked pefectly and hot..Then ordered ravioli which again were delicious and nice portion..Will be back “
“This location has always had great pizza. I’ve never had to wait for my order. The only downside to this location to be the parking lot but when you go in the evening, there’s not many cars there. I also only order online to be picked up in the store and they have never incorrectly made my order. Not to mention the two pizza deals are great value and plenty of food.“
“A Pittsburgh classic, worth experiencing at least once. My sandwich (double egg and cheese) was excellent, the fries so savory and the cole slaw so crisp. Will definitely be back.Vegetarian options: Not a lot of vegetarian options, but my go-to is the double egg and cheese classic sandwich. They used to have an impossible or beyond burger, iirc, but I didn't see that on the menu this time around.“
“My wife, our son Declan, and myself stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Saturday. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and mad it was my first time there after living in the area for over 20 years.Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating to our son, giving us plenty of napkins, plates, and some crackers to snack on.“
“Omg the food is sooo GOOD my 10 year old son and I started looking around the neighborhood to see if we could spot an apartment to rent ! No joke !! Delicious !!!!!!! Please bulld where i live.. Western NY ! Im writing to shark tank players on Twitter to INSIST they help franchise this gemstone of a restaurant ! lol. ?“
“Amazing pizza and wonderful staff!! So far, my favorite is the white pizza with sausage. Highly recommend the grandma pie dough. I also really loved the calzone #1 with sopressatta and hot honey. Looking forward to trying more items there. Keep up the good work guys - Bravo! :)Wheelchair accessibility: There is a free parking lot right next to the store. The sidewalk leading to the front door is in good condition.“
“This place was well worth the visit and I hope to go back soon!!Dietary restrictions: They were very great when I indicated that I don't eat certain foods to keep mine separate.Parking: Right by a bus stop!Kid-friendliness: My 4 year old loved the quarter machines and surprised me and tried new food here!Wheelchair accessibility: It's got narrow spaces and the bathrooms aren't accessible.“
“Amazing pizza! I have been wanting to try this place for a while, and I had a real big craving for margherita pizza and wow! I’m a huge Mercurio fan, and I liked this even more because it was never soggy. The New York style was amazing as well, and the salad was delicious! We’ll definitely be back!“
“Stopped in the Driftwood Saturday morning and bought an outstanding selection of their pastries. The raisin bread was still warm and I could have eaten the whole loaf! I can’t remember tasting better, fresher, raisin bread. Totally worth the trip!“
“Can’t rate this place high enough. Every time my family has dined in we are treated like family and leave with full bellies and happy hearts. We love to come as large groups and order from their Family style menu for larger portions to charge. The Roman pizza is unique in the area and we love it. The homemade pasta divine is our favorite. The espresso martinis are made with in-house vanilla infused vodka and real espresso! 20 drafts on tap! Wine on tap for Prosecco floats?! We always make sure to save room for the best gelato in the states! So many tasty options. We recommend the Wild Italian Cherry and the Orange Julio with candied oranges. The sweat cream topped with espresso affogato style is to die for ? The whole team are rockstars. Reservations are easy to make and change online. We love the clean open kitchen and the vibe of the dining room space as well as the bar.Kid-friendliness: Foosball table!Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple entryways, ramp to bar“
“Top Notch! When in Pittsburgh, especially if you're near Carlow University or Pitt, you need to stop at Sciulli's Pizza. While Pizza is in their name, there is so much more on the menu. However, the really should be considered "The Best in the Burgh!" Can't say enough about how good this place is...I only wish I lived closer so I could order more often. Great work guys!“
“What can I say… what can I say… that has not already been said about the cathedral of pizza that is Pizza Bosa. Upon walking in I was greeted with the smell of fresh pie and was handed the menu with a friendly greeting from the man behind the counter. Got 12 Hot wings which came out beautifully presented on a paper plate, they tasted just as good as they looked. On my next visit I plan to order the Seafood Salad, which I’ve heard is a Pittsburgh hidden gem.“
“Found this hidden gem today on my way to work. I had the Italian sub with chips. It was both delicious and filling. The owner is a real nice down to earth gentleman I had the pleasure of conversing with as I waited for my meal. I ended up eating the whole 1/2 sub, which is rare for me. I will be back for the Tuesday special as I was delighted to see they have Michelob ultra light on tap verses in the bottle. The waitress was also very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place ❤️“
“First time here, atmosphere and food was amazing! Definitely will be back! And I forgot his name, but if you see a bartender with a hat that reads chafing pavement, take his advice on the beers, and the pizza!! And always get a side of Buffalo sauce for the crust!“
“This place is the type of thing that can only have been thought of by a passionate player setting out to correct something that was missing in every game space. BravoVegetarian options: They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options that made me and my partner very happy :)“
“Pastoli's is our go-to for delivery pizza and wings, we order from them regularly. We appreciate the variety of pizzas and the wings usually come hot and well sauced. The zucchini planks are also a hit in our house. I would recommend Pastoli's to anyone looking for good pizza. Also, we've gotten their gluten free crust a few times and it's nearly indistinguishable.“
“We did takeout and this was some of the best pizza in the area. The calzone we ordered was also delicious. I was hesitant to try the cheese steak, since I love a Philly style cheese steak, but was happily surprised at how good it was. This will definitely not be our last time ordering from Crust.“
“Started my Pittsburgh foodie adventures in this adorable little sit-down pizza restaurant in Shadyside! We tried the Pizza Del Re (white pizza) and Pizza Della Casa (red pizza), and both lived up to the hype! Pizza Del Re: - White pizza with mozzarella, truffle spread, & prosciutto (it comes with mushrooms too, but we got it without because my boyfriend doesn't like mushrooms) - A super rich truffle taste that was so yummy - Loved the thin crust, but there were parts that tasted a little too burnt Pizza Della Casa: - Red tomato sauce pizza with mozzarella, grape tomatoes, arugula, prosciutto, & parmigiano - I love the combination of prosciutto & arugula and it was a plus that the arugula tasted so fresh & wasn't bitter - I personally prefer red sauce over white sauce, so I liked this pizza a little bit more To top off your meal here, make sure to get their gelato for dessert! I got a small size with 2 flavors -- tiramisu and hazelnut. Both flavors were super rich and yummy and definitely satisfied my sweet tooth.“
“Hands down the best pizza in Robinson…possibly in all of Pittsburgh. Their prices are reasonable and their free breadsticks deal is unmatched! Idk how they do it, but you’ll know what I mean by the first taste. Customer service is on point too, Rindha is always smiling and friendly when I come in to pick up my take out order. Quality spot all around ? (p.s. they have tiramisu!)“
“The Bulldog is an all around lovely experience. The food- absolte 10/10. Staff 10/10. Drinks 10/10. I'd like to keep this a secret but it's too good to not share. Not to mention, the owner is a gem and deserves every bit of the business.“
“So my fiance and I stumbled upon this awesome shop while walking. We were walking back home. I was going to cook dinner but we could smell the pizza outside. My mama always told me if you can smell the food out the door then it's probably good! Boy was she right! We ordered a Hawaiian Pizza and it was amazing. I told the owner that we relocated to Millvale recently and he gave us two complementary slices to try. The service was great. The restaurant was clean and cozy. This is def my new pizza spot. Sooo good“
“Food is incredible! Truly, one of the South Hills hidden gems. Will definitely be back. Lots of people ordering pick up also, so that’s always an option. Probably one drawback though, to making sure in-house customers are taken care of promptly. There were a decent amount of people, so expect to wait a little bit. I believe they’re hiring servers though! So, check out Bee’z Bistro; you won’t be disappointed. And, ask for their specials menu!“
“Ordered a white pizza with tomatoes and traditional pizza with sausage and pepperoni. Both excellent pizzas for a great price. The white pizza actually had a good amount of tomato on it. That rarely happens at other pizza shops. Keep it up Pizza Al's!“
“I have had the good fortune to be a customer of Fioris for over 40 years! My ex husband worked at the Brookline location when he was a teenager and Fiori and Pepino were family friends. I have lived in several places and have tried hundreds of pizza shops in my lifetime and I can honestly say that nothing beats Fioris, not even Via Napoli at Walt Disney World! My personal recommendations are pepperoni pizza (they put the pepperoni under the cheese) and a meatball sub "my way" which simply means extra sauce and extra cheese. Thank you Fiori for coming to Pittsburgh from your beautiful country and gracing us with both your exceptional food and engaging personality...I fixa you up! ;)“
“It was cool to see this place transform from Howard's Pub to Harold's Haunt. The small little changes are great and made the space feel very inclusive. They have a small beer selection with some good choices. There are also rotating cocktail and mocktail menus. There's an outdoor patio in the back that's nice. The food menu is on the smaller side but had some nice choices; the five dollar grill cheese got the job done when we needed to refuel. Good spot to stop at before or after a show at Mr.Smalls.“
“Amazingly delicious no-frills neighborhood pizza joint. It is a treasure! When you factor price and taste (are there others?), Eddie's has the best pizza in Pittsburgh. Really, it's that good!!! Give it a try. I promise you'll love it.“
“I hadn’t eaten here for a long while, and stopped on a whim. I’m incredibly happy with the food, the service, and the whole experience. I will definitely be a returning customer! The new owner asked us about our experience, which was a nice added touch! We will be back soon!!Kid-friendliness: We had our 6 month old infant with us, and we were comfortable the entire time. That doesn’t happen at very many establishments! Incredibly happy!!?“
“Absolutely loved this place! There was quite a line up on a Friday night but we were seated quickly and the host was lovely. It had a wonderful atmosphere and a small but enticing menu. Loved the chalk board display for all of their craft beers. We ended up trying a wood-fired pizza and it was some of the best we've had. Good location and absolutely worth trying. Highly recommend trying the Calabrian pizza.“
“The pizza here is absolutely delish and so is the service. Mr and a friend checked it out and split a bottle of wine. They have specials on certain days where it's like half off pizzas and I'm here for it. Can't wait to check it out again as the ambiance is top tier.“
“We just got Arleos for the second time and unfortunately all other pizza places may have officially lost our business. My husband is a pizza snob from NY and thinks all pizza in the Pittsburgh region sucks but he is raving about Arleo’s. The online ordering is so easy and fully customizable with many options. Delivery guy was timely and so kind. Thank you Arleo’s from your newest loyal customers!“
“What a charming little place. My friend and I dined here for a little “girls’ night out”, and I’m so thankful that we did. Our server, Kelsey, made us feel so welcome from the moment we sat down. The atmosphere is cozy, bright, and inviting. Both of us got seafood pasta dishes, and I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing so I could have leftovers! The tiramisu was delicious…and a very hefty portion size of it, too. We split a bottle of wine from their shop next door, and Kelsey brought it to our take for us so we didn’t have to move. Generous portion sizes, excellent food quality, and a very reasonable price point. The service was excellent. I can’t say enough good things about this place. There are a lot of good Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh, but this is one of my favorites already! Can’t wait to go back.“
“Come for the tasty pasta, stay for the excellent service and homey vibes. My boyfriend and I love places like this. We live just down the block, and really, there isn't enough local eats that still feel a bit dressed up, even though casual wear is appropriate. We've gone twice now, and both times, our servers have been lovely. On our latest date on Thursday, our server was there to greet us and ask about beverages not a minute after we sat down. She was super attentive, very fast, and a total sweetheart. The food has some hits, but it's all up to preference. I love the cheese ravioli. My boyfriend had the steak hoagie and we both agreed that while the steak was perfectly cooked, the sauce was a bit on the sweet side for us. That said, it was well made and presented, and we still left with full bellies. Carbonara's is fast becoming a regular date spot for us, and I haven't been disappointed yet. And those portion sizes? Perfect for work lunch leftovers! Yum!“
“Tried to post this on Grubhub but there's some systems problem so I felt I just had to post this here. After ordering from this place 3 times I gotta say it's become my favorite place to order from. It does something that I think few other places these days care about that is so fundamental. They do the basics, they do them right, and they do them at an agreeable price. The menu is small and got a lot of classic options you'd expect from just about any other place but the quality for the price is unmatched. Everything I have eaten from this place was perfect. $10 large cheese pizza is a no thrills menu option to most people but consistently quality every. Single. Time. The burger was flavorful and fresh, the chicken sandwich was both delicious and plentiful, but the pizza is what keeps me coming back.I'd give more stars if I could. These people running this establishment clearly care about consistency and the customer. So many other places kind of just slop together these same kind of items lazily just to turn a quick buck but Alex's Corner Pizza Shop serves you pride. Everyone should go to/order from this spot.“
“We went there for take out on Sunday night for dinner. Tried a small babaganus, regular falafel, one assorted aladin special kebab platter and one seesh kebab platter. The platters comes with buttered rice. Some of them comes with salad as well. The food taste really great. All the kebabs were very well cooked There, flavorful and tender. Babagsnus was very tasty as well. There was a pita with one of the above dishes but not sure with which dish I got the pita. My complain is about the quantity. The platters cost anywhere between 17 and 21 dollars. Given the price the quantity was not what I was expecting. Also the dips like tahini sauce or garlic sauce were not free which was kind of wired. They will change you 75 cents for that. The ambiance looked ok to me. There were one one couple eating in the restaurant when I went to order. So not sure if it gets busy during some other time of the day. There were ample parking available. The shop also sells cakes like carrot cake tiramisu and baklava. The service was really good. I ordered upon reaching there. It took them under 15mins to hand over my order“
“Ordered up a chicken kebab pizza and it was fantastic. Perfectly cooked and very filling. It was ready in about 20 minutes, friendly service and the location is pretty convenient, right next to route 28. They have a huge menu, probably 100+ items.“
“We tried Antonio’s for the first time tonight. We ordered a deep dish pizza with pepperoni and the general tso’s chicken pizza. Both pizzas looked and tasted amazing. I don’t find many places that put fried chicken on pizza, so I appreciate the unique menu items. This style and quality of food is exactly what we were looking for. We will definitely be back.“
“Eager and extremely willing to take my order without huffing and puffing like other places around millvale. Once food arrived it was to order as well as hot and cooked to perfection. Will be doing much more business with foxes ; happy to be able to not waste money any longer on junk and attitudes!!“
“my delivery driver Scott was absolutely AMAZING !! my total bill was $52.70 & i tipped him $10 cash ! he had a great attitude & texted me & called me when he was on his way as well as when he was here !! also as far as the food it was DELICIOUS !! me & my dad got a large pepperoni half bacon pizza & 20 wings half garlic parm half mild & everything was absolutely amazing !!! amazing service & great food !!! <3“
“The sweet scents immediately hit you upon entry. The lemon cello cookies are to die for! I am so glad that I ordered a dozen of them. Even though they are known for their biscotti's I did not order any this time. But I certainly will on my next visit there.“
“Go order a pizza here now! Harry’s is the best pizza in the area! We drive 20 minutes from Washington, PA (where there are plenty of pizza shops) to get this since it’s our favorite! Literally the best tasting pizza I have ever had! How can it be so good? They have the best quality ingredients, perfectly cooked crust (crunchy and on the thinner side) and also exquisite service. They also have super high quality cheese and pepperoni in addition to a seasoning that they add to boost the flavors. I can’t say enough about Harry’s!“
“Wednesday night at Hog Head's Bar for trivia was a blast! We spotted it on Facebook and thought we'd give it a shot. It was so much fun that my group and I have officially declared it a weekly tradition. The categories kept us on our toes, and the music was spot-on. Who knew Wednesdays could be this entertaining? Hog Head's will be our midweek haven, giving us a reason to look forward to hump day! Can't wait to get friends from work to come and join! Kudos to them for making trivia nights the highlight of our week!“
“Was looking for a new place to try and have heard great things. Called and spoke with Leah, explained that it was my first time and wanted to know what she recommended. Gave me recommendations. Decided to order the meatball hoagies and the pizza bread, both were great. I wish the meatballs had extra sauce, but I'll order extra next time.“
“Originally tried to place a large order at recognized pizza places in the Strip and North Side but they were too busy so on a whim, tried BF. Great NY style thin and tasty (not greasy at all) pizza. Surprised everyone how good. A large barely fits through a normal sized door. I am not sure if they deliver.. their menu is pizza only as far as I could see on the chalk board sign. Def worth the trip to the South Side - next to Carmellas. Go Bennys!“
“This is the best wedding soup I've ever had. Not only is this soup savory, succulent, perfectly balanced, and delicious...it gives you feelings of grandma in the kitchen with her secret recipe. This is by far the best soup I've ever had! The beef melts into your mouth before you can even take a bite and the broth is just perfect, it's beyond words! The ziti pasta and meatballs are delicious but I would order all the wedding soup until it was sold out if I lived in the area! I am immediately going back to buy a quart before finishing the pasta. Please do not discredit the other food items. I LOVE SOUP! This brings me goosebumps and warm feelings to how delicious it is! Wonderful job! (1 hour later) I did go back right before closing and ordered a quart to go and could not resist the pizza. I'm glad I didn't stop myself. I met Vito, the owner who makes his ingredients fresh every morning, and praised him for his love that he pours into his food. He's a great person and the friend you'd invite to every family gathering. I've traveled all over the world for work and this is the BEST SOUP! Last week I was in Paris, and the French Onion soup was delicious but could not even step close to how much mastery that's ingrained in this soup. If I could choose one thing for the rest of my life to consume, it would be the Wedding Soup!“
“Country Style Pizza is still the same as it was 20yrs ago because that's how long it's been since I had it and they didn't disappoint...we had the meatball pizzone which is still fire ! The guy's working are super nice and the place is clean....it's worth the trip for dinner ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐???“
“Excellent service, excellent food, and compassionate staff that reintroduce a universally paramount ingredient that seems to be difficult to come across now a days - LOVE. They love what they do, and you can taste it in their food. 10/10 definitely recommend! You can even order online for delivery or take out through their website!Vegetarian options: With this being a kosher dairy location , no meat or meat products are allowed on premises which makes this location 100% vegetarian. The devil that they use for their fresh baked breads as well as their pizza is 100% vegan with no eggs or any other deal breakers in the ingredients.“
“As most would, I expected to be entering an average Fox's Pizza to have an average meal. I couldn't have been more wrong. I was greeted by the friendly ( and equally as handsome) owner who literally transported me to Italy with his unmatched skills in the kitchen. Each bite was better than the previous, and I truly think this Fox's Pizza may have the best pizza in the entire world. You have to go for yourself to try this tantalizing and beautifully made pizza. I truly love the owner Matt and his endless wealth of knowledge surrounding the culinary arts. 10/10.“
“We had a wonderful evening with family and friends. PA market is an excellent place to get together and enjoy many different flavorful dishes and drinks. The service is always outstanding. We had the arroz con pollo (rice with chicken) and it was delicious. Pizza is always well liked as well as the burgers. Highly recommend.“
“Easily the best pizza I've had in Pittsburgh! I'm from NY and I've been looking everywhere for the perfect slice. This is it. Ingredients are all made in-house and it shows. We just finished our order and I already can't wait to go back. I don't review much on yelp but you all need to know about this place!!!“
