“*Available every Friday* The fish sandwiches still as delicious as I remember growing up eating them. Now the word is out .. my coworkers are down too. The sandwich is so good you get into a zone while eating it. My current way of eating it is cutting it in half and eating one half with hot sauce and tarter and the other half with ketchup or cocktail sauce. Its a messy sandwich but oh so good .. life changing sandwich.“
“I love this bar. It's so casual and low-key and everyone is welcome and made to feel like you're at home. The only issue I have with it is their bartender named Scott who works on the weekends. He's kind of a dick and I don't like him. All the other bartenders are awesome and make me feel very welcome and I love my time here.“
“I am so glad I found this place! It’s a neat little bar with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and great music. As soon as I walked in, the owner greeted me and took the time to help me pick out a cigar. He made suggestions for me based on what I normally smoke and the cigar I chose was excellent. Most folks in there seemed to be regulars and we all had great conversation. In my experience, some cigar bars can be a bit pretentious or intimidating but this place is quite the opposite - it’s got a Cheers bar feel and everyone is down to earth. It’s not very often you sit down and chat with the owner of an establishment. Whether you’re a regular cigar smoker or a newbie, this bar is the place to be. The prices are phenomenal as well. Definitely will be back!“
“Seems like a really great bar. I've only been here once, we stopped after a show at Mr Smalls theater. Many of the people from the concert ended up here, so the music was somewhat of a continuation. Looks like they have a nice outdoor setup for the more pleasant weather. Follow for more...“
“My coworker and I decided that a night on the town was much needed but wanted a different scene than the norm. Jekyll and Hyde was exactly what the doctor ordered! I loved the decor and the drinks were fantastic and quite affordable (I had spooky juice and my coworker had their signature, the Jack-O-Lantern). I also enjoyed the live karaoke and will be back soon for some good ole spooky fun!“
“Awesome bar, good folks, good selection on the jukebox. I only get to that side of town for my dart league so I only know the one bartender Miss Diane and she's a rock star, keeping the bar clean and glasses full, always smiling. I'm sure the other bartenders are awesome as well! And while you're there check out the pizza shop down the street, nothin like a cold beer and good wings to get the night going!“
“Lefty's is a great place to grab an ice cold beer when you need a break from the crowded streets of the Strip District. The beer I ordered was seriously the closest beer I have ever been served at a bar. The bartender was welcoming and the price was reasonable. Indoor seating is available as well as a few outdoor seats in case you want to continue people watching during your beer break.“
“Favorite traditional after work Pittsburgh neighborhood bar....add some of Pitt's best and brightest, a lot of fun.....Trivia nites on Wednesday are entertaining as the crowd is generally younger and the kids have a unique sense of humor....“
“The people here are so friendly and welcoming. This place had everything. It had all the gothic alternative punk rock vibes and I loved it. Larry was my bartender and he was pretty cool. I ended up playing pool with some people in the back and had a great time. This is definitely a go to staple when it comes to dive bars in Pittsburgh. Definitely my #1!“
“Very chill, relaxed environment. Our bartender made sure we had everything we need and wanted. Speedy service and absolutely deliciously delightful wings! More than enough different flavored sauces for wings, which, habenaro honey and hot garlic were awesome. I’m looking forward to trying the strawberry sauce on my next visit for wings! They were cooked to perfection!!! Can’t wait to go back! We went on a Wednesday and there was a decent sized crown of about 20 people! I definitely recommend stopping in!!“
“Went to EATs soft launch and was blown away by Mike’s service. The drink menu stood out and were well made. We particularly enjoyed the mind eraser. Dumplings were good for a late night snack. I would recommend this spot for as an as an after dinner cocktail stop.“
“This review is being written on a to be continued basis.Only parking on the street and not much at that.We went out of our way to get here and try one of their ham sandwiches. Got there around 5:30 on a Friday night to find they just sold out of ham. They had a Friday night fish special on the board, but none of that either. We got a couple of beers out of the cooler, no draft. Extra cold and went down quick. Bartender was on the spot and had another beer opened before I could ask.“
