“We've driven by so many times and finally planned our visit! A small, nondescript place with out of this world food!! Very limited seating. We got there right at 5:30 on a Friday, and by the time we got our food 10 min later, all the tables were full and the line was almost out the door. Plan to go early or get takeout! Friendly, kind service. I loved that there was sriracha, hoisin, and soy on the tables. We ordered 2 sushi rolls - the Angry Shrimp and a California roll! They are good! I got the chicken pho and my fiancé got the shrimp bang mi. He raved about the bread and just how fresh all the components were. The Pho was amazing and a huge portion. Can't wait to go back and try more things and get some boba!”
“I stopped by pierogies Plus about twice a month when I'm over in McKees rocks area they have a walk-up window you place your order you wait for them to complete your order it's usually between 5 and 7 minutes but the wait it is worth it the food is fresh and hot but you must take it to go I really like the hunters Stew.Parking: There's approximately about eight parking spaces in the lot and then there's street parking at the curb”
“Downey’s House is a local spot with a LOT of charm and amazing food. The Italian rolls are early the best thing on the menu. Service is always great and the bartenders keep the place running with their excellent service and friendliness. ”
“Surprisingly great flavors! Every beer we tried tasted amazing. Not overwhelmingly sour so you can try multiple different kinds. Some of the best sour beers I've ever had.”
“me and my boyfriend drove about an hour from beaver county to try shay and baeee's restaurant. the food was pictured exactly how it looks from the pictures online. my boyfriend got the lobster and shrimp. he said everything was fire, only thing he would of changed was to have more lobster meat. I got the chicken and steak, everything was great. chicken was a little dry (nothing a little sauce can't fix) and the cabbage and Mac n cheese was good. cabbage was just a little spicy for me (I'm weak with spicy foods so may be fine to others) go support small business, and hopefully we'll see y'all in beaver county one day!”
“Stopped in this morning with the family. We all got some bagels and I ordered the bacon/avocado/greens on an everything bagel. The sandwich was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had. Good crispy bacon very fresh veggies. Can’t wait to go back!”
“We’ve been a few times and the food is always great. We had a big group last night for Good Friday and they were able to seat us quickly. Our server, Nichole, was amazing! So attentive, fast, and transparent on the pizzas taking a little longer. They were slammed but her friendly, fast service, and smile never stopped. The sushi, fish sandwiches, and pizzas were awesome! If you haven’t been yet, definitely go!”
“Delicious food, good service, fair prices. There are 2 tables to eat in or you can take to go. Had the Jollof rice w/chicken and fried Plantains. The rice is spicy, but not too much for those who like some heat. They also have a veg rice option. The chicken was bone-in and generous (leg and thigh). Also on the menu: fish and goat. Authentic West African.Vegetarian options: You can order rice and large selection of non-meat sides.Parking: Spaces available on street, no meters.”
“We always get "to go" it's EXCELLENT!Food is fresh and plentiful! One original is so stuffed with goodness that you may be able to make 2 meals out it!!FABULOUS!!!”
“Walnut Grill is a consistent winner - particular if you grab a seat at the bar. Kelsey C. is reason enough to come in - super friendly, remembers our drinks (I don't know how), and always offers great suggestions. ??”
“A friend used to say, never eat anything bigger than your head...well, one slice of pizza here was as big and it took me two days to eat it! And it was so tasty. Can't wait to come back and try the deep dish. I also had a yummy cupcake and cinnamon roll, both had icing to die for. Please support this excellent new business!”
“The owner is a total prick. Don't care if he is like 75. He needs slapped. Just relax Sir. You got a great business. Very good food. You don't need to be a jerk. You don't have to rush us. You don't have to scream at us when we are looking on what to get. Just settle. Respect your customers. Especially one's like myself and family that always show a ton of respect for local business. I could never treat anyone like you did if they are showing me respect and spending money.”
“The food here was absolutely delicious! I can't wait to come back to try more options. We were able to be seated right away, however keep in mind that it is a ONE MAN SHOW so there is and will be a long wait to receive your food, especially if it is busy.I can't remember his name unfortunately, but he was so nice!”
“Nothing is fancy about Mama Lena's. Just good food. I discovered this spot during Covid and have been a customer ever since. Love the gnocchi. Portion sizes are large and the staff really seems to care. Hadn't tried the pizza until recently and it was very good. In some ways it feels like I'm in the kitchen.”
“My wife, our son Declan, and myself stopped in for lunch around 1 on a Saturday. Service was great and they were very accommodating to our 9 1/2 month old son, providing a high chair as soon as we were getting seated. The staff was very friendly and engaged us in light conversation. We got a medium pizza with italian sausage that was absolutely amazing and cheese ravioli with meat sauce, also very delicious. The restaurant has a very cozy, traditional feel that we loved. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit and mad it was my first time there after living in the area for over 20 years.Kid-friendliness: Very accomodating to our son, giving us plenty of napkins, plates, and some crackers to snack on.”
