“Food and staff are fantastic and so sweet. I got the shrimp pineapple boat. I got it to go because the music was a little too loud for my tasting but they wrapped it up very nicely. For those complaining that the prices are too high It was only about $3.50 more than Bahama Breeze and so much tastier and better quality plus now I know where I can get it without having to drive all the way to Robinson. They could however use some better advertising as I would have never known about this place if I hadn’t seen a Facebook post.”

“I check the weekly offerings and try to plan a trip when something sounds appealing. I will say that I have enjoyed 95% of the ones I tried. You can't go wrong with the semi-sweet chocolate chip. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. The orange creamsicle flavor was spot on. They recently had a peanut butter crisp cookie featuring Butterfinger. It tasted like the candy bar in cookie form.”

“We do not have an Indian restaurant where I live. It is my favorite cuisine. I have driven to Monroeville more times than I can count to satisfy my family’s Indian cravings (yes even my 7 year old loves Indian food). I can say without a doubt this is the best I have tried in the Pittsburgh area. The freshness and quality is so amazing. The owner is very personable and service is great. I will go no where else but this place going forward. So happy a decided to stop on a whim!”

“A Heartfelt Reflection on Professionalism & Respect I believe in supporting local establishments and building community wherever I go. When I walk into a space, I come with kindness, respect, and the intention to simply enjoy good company and a welcoming atmosphere. Recently, I’ve experienced a shift in service that left me feeling uncomfortable and dismissed. What once felt warm and inviting has become cold and unprofessional through eye-rolling, dismissive responses, and careless service. Respect should never depend on how often someone visits, who they are, or what they look like — professionalism is the standard, not the exception. As patrons, we notice the small things — tone, body language, and how we are treated when we walk through the door. Establishments should remember that every guest is observing, every interaction matters, and every moment reflects the character of the business. My hope is simple: that businesses remain mindful of how staff attitudes shape the entire experience. Because you never know who is sitting in your seats, and you never know who is quietly witnessing the level of professionalism being offered. Respect is remembered. Kindness is remembered. And so is the absence of both. let me add the food is delicious. I have no other reservations but for the one barmaid jess was my barmaid. February 7th time is 1:46 p.m.”

“I love this place! We recently moved to the area and have tried nearly every spot around for pizza, wings and apps. Meglios is by far the best, especially with the pizza. They really season the dough and sauces well so it always taste fresh and not bland. The menu also has a lot of options. I definitely recommend!”

“Yummy! While on our June summer road trip with our kids, we were in the mood for something sweet and decided to try out The Meadows for their famous custard. We were not disappointed! The building is very welcoming from the outside. All painted with ice cream cones and Adirondack chairs sitting around. In the front, you have tables where you can sit outside and enjoy the air. Inside you have tables and chairs in a brightly painted, cheerful room. There is also a life-size connect 4 game where the kids can play. My son and I enjoyed a game while eating our custard. It was a busy day, but the workers did great. They were very friendly. We all went for the original vanilla and we’re very impressed. I loved my waffle cone! It was a very hot day and these definitely hit the spot! Highly recommend! Good for kids! Boosters and high chairs available. *Wheelchair accessible entrance, seating, parking lot and restroom. Offers eat in, take out that you can get through the drive-through window or the walk up window and delivery. Credit and debit cards accepted.”

“The mozzarella sticks are enormous—crispy, gooey, and absolutely a must‑order. The wings were fantastic, served in a super convenient box that made them perfect for taking on the go. They’re whole wings and come with real ranch, which feels like a rare luxury these days.
I didn’t try the pizza, but it looked incredible coming out of the kitchen. Our server/bartender, Madeline, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and never let our drinks run low. They also have a great outdoor seating area.
Run, don’t walk, to get food from here.”

“Great sambar idli/vada, they give a ton of chutney. Most places are stingy with the chutneys. Ambiance is also really good, makes me nostalgic of restaurants I grew up eating at in Dallas. Nowdays places like saravanaa bhavan are nice but more corporate/sterile and less homey than Udipi.”

For every meal purchased a donation is made that feeds three children. I love that❤️ We will definitely be back.”
“First time visiting this brewery as we are always looking to explore places we haven't been to yet.
We saw Pittsburgh Smokehouse food truck was running a bacon and brisket special so that secured the deal for food and beverages.
Squatch is just 10 minutes or so from the heart of Monroeville located in an Industrial park.
The building itself was nice and we grabbed a seat at the bar upon arrival. There was also some additional covered seating outside of the garage door.
We sampled all of the beers and everything was very solid.
If you haven't tried it yet check out their Facebook pages for updated food truck and event information.”

“I love the smoothies! The Bowls are great as well. My only concern is how much sugar natural or not is contained in the products. I really wish there were more smoothies that contained less sugar. Kale, spinach, wheatgrass, beets, carrots. Everything tastes like candy. I want a smoothie/ smoothies bowl that a can be proud of consuming after a workout. Sugar is sugar regardless if it’s natural or not. But I do love the products”

“A poem about the delightful experience I had of enjoying an Indian thali at India Garden of Monroeville, PA, USA. In the heart of Monroeville's bustling scene, Lies a garden where Indian flavors convene. A thali awaits,& Singh could whip up a feast so grand, With lamb and chicken, spiced by Singh’s masterful hand. Naan, soft and warm, fresh from the tandoor's glow, Dips into curries where spices freely flow. Cumin, coriander, turmeric bright, Each bite is a journey, a culinary flight. The sizzle of tikkas, the aroma of basmati rice, India Garden's thali, a paradise of spice. A symphony of flavors, in harmony they blend, A meal to remember, a joy that never ends. I feel this poem captures the essence of the rich and diverse flavors of Indian cuisine. Enjoy your meal at India Garden! I did. Geo Wong”

“Went with my niephling (Nephew/Niece) once before the mall starting closing all of its businesses. At the time, just two people there, very polite and respectful. Amazing coffee and tea, and I am very, very picky on both. Didn't get to go here again because of what the mall is doing, but I have found other locations less far from me. I just kinda liked the staff from here the most.”

“Today was very crowded, as expected, since it was Mother's Day. There was a "special" menu today for a slightly higher fee ($22), but it was to include Crab Legs that they rarely have. Always customer focused, he offers a great selection of lunch options, made to order tasty sandwiches, daily specials, homemade soups and a variety of breakfast treats for those who start the day early. He has faithfully served his customers for more than 20 years, daily Monday through Friday. He is a great example of a hardworking successful independent businessesman and entrepreneur. “Hands down one of the best Burger Kings I’ve been to. First impressions, it’s an incredibly clean and quiet restaurant with friendly staff and quick service. Me and my partner’s food came out in no time, and upon opening my burger, I saw that it was one of the most beautiful burgers I’ve ever seen, (pictured below). Not only did it look great, it tasted great too. The fries were crispy and fresh, and sodas were good as expected. Thanks guys!”

“We enjoy coming to the Coxcomb on Saturday nights for trivia but the set up makes it almost impossible to hear over the noise of the crowd at the bar. Not sure why they don't set up trivia in the back area where tables playing could hear the questions. The food is mostly pretty good although I had the Bruschetta Pasta last time and it had no flavor at all. After piling on salt and parmesan I still couldn't finish even a third of it. Seems like the food is a little hit or miss. My friend had the shrimp and it had lots of flavor but the pasta and the fajita bowl really needed something more; very bland. We'll keep coming back though as we've always liked this location and we love the Saturday night trivia. Service was good.”

“Nestled in a modest plaza at 226 Center Road in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, Big Rig’s BBQ is the kind of place that turns barbecue lovers into regulars. Owned and operated by the warm and welcoming husband-and-wife team of Josh and Susan Toney, along with their talented chef, this local spot has quickly become a standout in the Pittsburgh-area BBQ scene since opening a few years ago. What sets it apart? It's chef-driven smoked meats using a blend of hickory, cherry, and apple woods, creative sides, craft sandwiches, and an unwavering commitment to quality. But let's get to the heart of it—the food, the people, and the vibe that make every visit feel like coming home. If there's one item that defines Big Rig’s BBQ, it's the brisket. This Texas-style brisket is nothing short of exceptional. Smoked low and slow daily, it arrives at your table with a beautiful bark, a perfect smoke ring, and tenderness that rivals the best pits in the country. You can order it lean or fatty (I always go for a mix), and it literally melts in your mouth. Fork-tender, juicy, and packed with deep, smoky flavor, it's the kind of brisket that makes you close your eyes on the first bite. Reviewers from North Carolina to Texas have raved about it, with many calling it the best they've had outside their home states. Pair it with one of their house-made sauces— the sweet house sauce, tangy Carolina mustard, or spicy variant—and you've got barbecue perfection. Whether sliced on a platter, stuffed into a baked potato, or melted into their famous Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich (a gooey, indulgent masterpiece), the brisket is consistently outstanding and the reason many drive from across the region. But Big Rig’s isn't just about classics; their creativity shines in the Burger of the Week, a rotating special that drops every Wednesday and keeps things exciting. Each new burger is a stroke of genius, blending premium ingredients with BBQ flair in ways that surprise and delight. One week, it might be a double smash burger topped with chopped brisket, crispy onions, and a tangy sauce that elevates it to legendary status. Another features bold flavors like jalapeño cheddar, bacon, and raspberry honey mustard slaw on a pretzel bun—sweet, spicy, smoky, and utterly addictive. I've tried several, and every single one has been phenomenal: juicy patties cooked to perfection, fresh toppings that balance textures and tastes, and portions that leave you satisfied but plotting your return. Diners frequently call these burgers the best in the Pittsburgh area, with one declaring a brisket-topped version "the BEST burger I've had." The anticipation for each new creation builds community buzz on social media, and it's easy to see why— these aren't ordinary burgers; they're innovative, flavorful triumphs that showcase the kitchen's talent. Beyond the stars of the menu, the supporting cast is equally impressive. Sides like the creamy mac and cheese, smoky pit beans with burnt ends, sweet vinegar coleslaw, and melt-in-your-mouth cornbread are generous and house-made with care. Other meats—fall-off-the-bone ribs, rich pork belly burnt ends, pulled pork, and even smoked kielbasa—round out platters that feed families effortlessly. There's a kids' menu with favorites like grilled cheese and chicken tenders, making it easy to bring the whole crew. What truly elevates Big Rig’s is the owners and staff, who are incredibly friendly and genuinely passionate. Josh and Susan are often on-site, chatting with guests, recommending pairings, and ensuring everyone feels welcome. The service is attentive yet relaxed, with staff going above and beyond—whether explaining the sauces at the table or accommodating special requests. It's clear this is a family-run operation built on love for great food and community. The environment is perfectly family-friendly: clean, casual, and cozy with ample seating, including space for larger groups. It's not a fancy spot, but it's inviting—think warm ligh”
