“We recently held our company Christmas Party there with around 46 people, they were very helpful in organizing, planing, and answering all my questions prior to the party. We had the Chicken and London Broil Buffet along with the assorted desserts and it was awesome. The service was great the whole night, always making sure we had everything we needed. From there we went over to Clearview for a night of Bowling, again, very accommodating and making sure we had enough lanes for our company and enough time to bowl. This wasnt their first rodeo, they new when we needed to start and how much time we needed for each event. Thank you so much Lisa & Earl for helping us have a such a fun filled evening.“
“Sat within minutes. Confusion by staff. Who was greeting or seating. Saturday night, 9:30 pm. Not packed. Nice booth for 5 of us. Server was there in under 5 minutes. Kind of just stood there for 30 seconds. Said nothing, so I asked for a beer. Caught her off guard. I guess she was waiting to do the usual server greeting. She shot me a dirty look. We all just joked about it. We ordered drinks, soups and appetizers. Crab pretzels were a little dry and tasteless. French onion was really good. Appetizers and soup arrived in less than 8 minutes. Then on to order entrees. Club was good. Chicken pot pie dry. Chicken primavera was ok. Not a WOW !!! But ok. Server got the special requests right. Just not a upbeat vibe. No personality, no fun banter. Maybe she worked a long shift. Nice open dining room. Bar dead center. Lots of TV's. She asked me if I wanted changed as I paid. Never ! Never ask a guest that. It sounds like you are soliciting a tip. Which was over 20% on a $116 bill. Labatt beer was fresh and cold !Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of tables to put a wheel chair, wide isles and door ways.“
“Highly recommend! Very atmospheric and an incredible place! It was our first visit and it won't be our last. The service was great and the food was wonderful! We can't wait to try it in the summer to sit out on the deck by the creek!“
“We stopped in here on St. Patrick’s Day for drinks. I have been here before, but they have somewhat limited hours, so I just try to stop in if I happen to be in the area and see they are open. This place has a beautiful historic atmosphere indoor, a very nice little patio, good prices, and good vibes.“
“We went here for St Patty's and it was perfect. Our table was in the room with the Irish band. Perfect seats. My wife and I both had Irish dishes which were occasion perfect. Our server was amazing. I went to Red Lobster on Friday night and the service was terrible, so our server stood out for his attentiveness. I couldn't imagine a better place to spend St. Pattys.“
“Bartender meant business but in the best way and drinks were great, the only food we ate was the wings which were delicious, crispy and the perfect amount of spice, however, they were some of the smallest wings I’ve ever seen in my life. Must have been some sort of hen or duck-chicken hybrid but tasty non the less. We WILL be back to try the entrees they looked great coming out the kitchen.“
“Great meal in a relaxed, historically preserved building. The pork shank was beautifully presented and tasty served with basic french fries. The Chilean sea bass was perfectly co I ked served with a sweet sauce over garlic mash potatoes. The house pesto vingarette served with the salad was remarkable. Devon was attentive and pleasant.“
“This restaurant is located on the shores of the Susquehanna River. The views are awesome!!! We eat in the full service restaurant. My shrimp and grits were out of this world crazy good. Our service was attentive and they accommodated our desire to eat a slow paced dinner. There is a bar with live music and an outdoor bar with a casual menu... The pizza looked great. I will return here again.“
“Eric the kitchen manager helped me out today. My wife and I tried this pizza for the first time last week. MY GOD THE PIZZA THOUGH..... Ingredients are so fresh, Dave Portnoy needs to review it. We have been all over Lancaster. You want the best they got it. Owners even came out to personally thank me for complimenting their pizza. If you aren't stopping here, anywhere else will be a disappointment. Get the sausage pepperoni pizza, not greasy, made to perfection!“
“This is our favorite restaurant in Lancaster. The food is always delicious, cooked perfectly and even when we doordash it is like being there in person. Jackie was our server and she is always so sweet and wonderful. All of the staff are amazing. We love Tequila mexican grill .“
“From their creative menu to their top tier ingredients, Black Gryphon is a must visit spot for any locals AND out of towner’s. Their fantastic “Chocolate Hot” is extremely noteworthy. From the several dishes I’ve tried, each one has been a home run. Be sure to get your burger “Super Saiyan Style”! Beautiful spot/people, will be back!“
“Everything I've tried has been delicious and fresh. The only exception would be the steak. I've tried several dishes with steak (tortellini, tacos) and often the steak is chewy where you have to spit it out because you cant chew it.“
“We stopped here by chance after a concert at the American Music Center in Lancaster . At first glance from outside, it just looked like a bar, not seedy, but maybe questionable. Once inside, you felt at home , a nice little neighborhood bar. The food was good and the service was ok and the prices were reasonable. I definitely would stop back in if I was in the area.“
“I meet my daughters once a month for lunch. First time we were ever at Elimar. Atmosphere was cozy. Menu had a great variety to choose from. Food was excellent and plentiful (all of us needed boxes). Service was quick, and our server, Shamika, was outstanding. We all agreed we would return!“
“This is one of our regular breakfast location spots. Bring a jacket, especially on cold days because there seems no way to avoid the draft. Also, don't sit near the bar door because sometimes you smell smoke wafting in which is unpleasant. All of this said the wait staff is friendly and prompt. The menus are on the table. Sometimes the specials are fantastic but I'm a huge fan of their unique omelet menu. Huge fan of their taco omelet, which is just what it sounds like.“
“The store clerk was very kind ✨I wonder if it's Jimoti's popular restaurant, and it's full by 7pm...What will happen to my last supper in America? Just as I was thinking that, I was guided to the second floor.I wish I had followed my father's advice that ``pasta is recommended''...The pasta was drowning in the thick soup, and the alcohol went on and on as I ate the thick, sticky soup. I ended up drinking a lot of alcohol with the pasta I was given!Mom's main dish is steak salad. picture? Will salad be the main thing? →There was a very large piece of meat sitting on top of the salad.I'm a hamburger!was delicious! But I want to try more things... I can't eat them all...Let me bring you again!“
“This is a members(men only) only club. Once a member, you may bring your wife/girlfriend whenever you go.The place is great to hang out and have a couple of drinks. The cheapest drinks you will find but that do not deflect from the service, which is incredible.Stop in a see how to become a member!!!!Does not serve food but does have snacks and sandwiches to buy.“
“If you live near Columbia or Mount Joy, PA you should have heard of this place already. Good food and atmosphere. Recommended ?I personally get the prime rib. I have tried other menu items and am never disappointed.Parking: Right next to the creek which doesn't flood often (since about 2012.)“
“I had no idea this place was here. A friend recommended it while we were in the area as a lunch spot. It was still Fall and the weather was amazing so we were seated at a table in their amazing ourdoor space. It's so prettty; I felt like I was on vacation. The menu had a lot of really good looking options and we struggled to choose. We started with some wings. They were exceptional--- crunchy, juicy and well sauced. Our friend ended up with a spicy chicken sandwich. I had an open face beef sandwich with gravy and french fries. My husband had a chicken Caesar wrap. Everything was beautiful to look at and delicious. Service was a little slow, but reasonable. The atmosphere made it alright. I hope to get back there soon.“
“We were a group of 15 and reserved at 6 pm. The waitress was the only one working the dining room on a Sunday night and she was amazing! She kept up with our drinks and food and took care of all the other tables too! The food was delicious also! Highly recommend!“
“Be very careful if going here. It looks like they are having real issues with trouble makers (which can happen with any tavern along the river). In December, about 10 days before we went here, they confronted a person outside who refused to pay. The guy pulled a gun on the employee and threatened to shoot them in the head. Look online, you'll see the news story. We went there with another couple anyway for supper aware of the situation that possibly the management wasn't able to keep the trouble out of the place. Within minutes Courtney had our drinks at the table and placed our food orders, great service ... and then some white trash at the bar left out a super loud screech or whistle looking for attention. I mean it was bad. Then he did it again a few minutes later and left. One more time and I'd have gotten involved with escorting the POS to the curb. The owner needs to hire some aggressive enforcement right now to get a handle on this or the place is going to get a reputation like the Bainbridge Inn as a good place to raise hell and start a fight. NOT date night atmosphere on a weekend. I hope things change here, they need to exercise a heavy hand. It's a nice place, but the trash has to be dealt with and kept out.“
“This was our first time here after having lots of recommendations to go. When you walk in you seat yourself our waitress came over almost immediately with menus. Didn't take pictures but for drinks we had White Peach Crush, Punch Bowl Crush, and a Reeds Apple Ale.“
“I have been coming here regularly since they opened, so have probably been here 25+ times. Their brews are good as well as their panini sandwiches, sliders and small bites such as cheeses. The Gouda cheese tray is pictured. I guess I ate my sliders too quickly to take any this time. They use all locally sourced ingredients, which is a plus. They used to have music here a lot, but it seems in recent years the owners may be focusing more on their expanded locations to Lancaster and ironspire. They have added to the rear area of their brewery recently as well as added additional outdoor seating for warmer weather. When it’s nice, I like sitting outside here, although that may invite some Columbia characters to stop for unwanted chats, so be aware of that.“
“The Tourist Inn can definitely be described as a "dive bar". But don't let that description undersell the amazing food, staff and owner of this facility. Over the years, I have come to find that the owner is such a wonderful woman. She also hires a great staff! Particularly Lacey and Amanda. The food is also very good, but unfortunately takes a while to be made. However, it is no problem to wait while doing one of their many games throughout the week! Trivia Night, Live Bands, BINGO, you name it!“
“Stop Thursdays for wings and cold beer. They have the best bartender Cheyenne is always happy and is very attentive to everyone's needs. I give her six stars.Parking: Fix your pothole in front of your front entrance before someone trips in it.“
“Nice dive bar, with some cheap drinks. Check out their daily specials for the best deal! Sara is a nice bar tender and quick with the drinks. HEADS UP ITS CASH ONLY but they have an atm on sight. The cuban pretzel paniini was unexpectedly good. Hit this place up for a cold beverage“
“This was the third time visiting and was by far the best. I didn't realize it was St. Patrick's Day when we arrived but there were decent specials and Irish fare. We mainly ordered from the traditional menu and food was very good and prices were fair. I will come back and try more offerings.“
“I had a small gathering here for my sons first birthday and it was amazing, from being greeted at the door to getting our food packed up to leave was an amazing experience. The service was amazing, the food to die for and (my favorite part) the welcomeness to it. You can definitely tell this is a REAL family establishment, thank you, there’s not many of you guys left“
