“Very rarely do you walk in to a place and feel comfortable, and yet rest in curiosity at the layers. It seems like any other small bar and grill that dots towns here in the east. A long clean bar and dim lights. 30 years or so ago there would have been ash trays on the bar I assume- but today all you smell is the good food from the back. The bartender was short, and sweet. Both in stature and conversation. We had a friendly conversation and I ordered a pizza to come get later. It was delicious. Stop by and see how many layers of this small little slice of comfort you can pull back.“
“I became a member of this Moose Lodge almost 2 years ago now. The food has been very good every time I come here. The daily dinner specials are always on point. The service here can be hit or miss but it's only because the place gets busy and the staff just have a hard time keeping up. However, they now have a new kitchen staff that is much better. The inside is casual and you must watch your language. You will be kicked out for foul language. Of course you have to be a member to come here or be brought in by a member. “We decided to place a large take out order today to check out the menu. Everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend everything we ordered- the pulled pork sandwich, crabcake sandwich, chicken wraps, burger, loaded fries, chicken tenders & of course, cheesecake. The owner was a total sweetheart & we chatted about his future plans for the (soon to come) bar portion. “Picked up my wife at Harrisburg Airport and we were both hungry. This place was convenient and we had great food. I got brisket tacos and my wife had the ultimate grilled cheese with tomato soup. Service was great and beer was cold. A great local pub atmosphere. We would go back.“
