“Oh boy, where do I even begin with my recent visit to Dairy Queen? It was an experience like no other, and despite the unexpected turn of events, I left with a belly full of delicious treats and a tale to tell!Let me start by saying that the staff at this Dairy Queen location truly went above and beyond in the face of adversity. As I sat at one of the cozy booths, eagerly savoring my Blizzard, I noticed a commotion near the entrance. Before I could comprehend what was happening, a daring criminal burst into the store, waving what seemed to be a weapon. Panic filled the air as customers ducked for cover, their frozen treats abandoned on the tables. Now, here comes the truly remarkable part: as it turns out, this audacious thief was allergic to peanuts! And you know what Dairy Queen is known for? Their scrumptious peanut butter sauce! Talk about a twist of fate! The brave staff members, armed with nothing but quick thinking and a few ice cream cones, launched an all-out assault on the assailant, pelting him with perfectly aimed ice cream cones. It was like watching a heroic scene from a movie! The criminal, being allergic to peanuts, was already in a bad spot, but the addition of ice cream cone projectiles turned the tide in favor of justice. It was quite a sight to behold! The staff's remarkable coordination and bravery in the face of danger were truly commendable. Kudos to them for turning a potentially dangerous situation into a heroic and hilarious one! Now, let's not forget the reason I came to Dairy Queen in the first place: the food! Despite the chaos unfolding around me, I managed to take a few bites of my Blizzard, and oh boy, it was absolutely divine! The perfect blend of creamy ice cream and mouthwatering mix-ins left my taste buds dancing with joy. Dairy Queen never fails to deliver on their promise of heavenly desserts. In the end, the police arrived swiftly and apprehended the criminal, who was nursing a mild allergic reaction and a good deal of embarrassment. The atmosphere in the store quickly transformed from one of tension to relief and triumph. The Dairy Queen staff deserves all the applause for their courage, quick thinking, and impeccable ice cream cone aim!In conclusion, my visit to this Dairy Queen will forever be etched in my memory. Not only did I enjoy their delectable treats, but I also witnessed a real-life superhero showdown involving ice cream cones and an allergic criminal. If you're looking for both incredible food and an unexpected adventure, this Dairy Queen location is the place to be!“
“I love this coffee shop. The iced Oregon chai is one of my favorites. They also have a bunch of local art work and ceramics you can purchase there. Great place to get unique gifts or try something from a local small business, like the handmade soap they sell.“
“The cookies are delicious and worth every penny! I got a party box last week and came back this week for a round too lol. I’m not going to lose my pregnancy weight dealing with this place!! The cookies were big, warm and sweetened to perfection. I recommend everyone to visit here.“
“Just stopped in to pick up my pre-order of Peanut Butter Easter Egg ice cream. We had to try the Guinness Chocolate and ….yum! So we took a pint home with us. Always greeted with a smile and welcome on entering! Customer service is great.Parking: The plaza has plenty of parking.“
“It has been some time since we stopped by Reeser's--I think we were coming back from a tubing trip--so we were all hot and in good spirits from the days adventures. We saw a sign for ice cream--smashed the brakes and whipped the Honda Pilot into the parking lot. We were thrilled by what we found--the sundaes(?) were creative and I recall lots of fresh fruit. We love walk up ice cream spots like this... will return if we are in the area.“
“I cannot say enough good things about 3B. The ice cream is fantastic. I love the huge selection they have of flavors, and toppings. The staff is always friendly, and gets orders completed quickly. Now onto what I have in my photo (an Italian hoagie with everything)....the subs are to die for. Hands down one of the best Italian subs I've ever had. Everything is fresh, and it hits the spot everytime. Also, this monster was only $11.32! I believe the price went up 50 cents or so from last year, but this is still the steal of the century. Go here for the ice cream, but don't forget about the sandwiches!!“
“I give five stars. They make delicious ice cream and sandwiches. You will not be disappointed. Great fast service. Budget friendly, many fan favorites to choose from with the ice cream flavors over 20 flavors to choose from. I highly recommend!“
“A very clean and very cozy place, delicious food, but friends, wonderful customer service. Large fast food and artisanal chains should have a little bit of this way of serving their customers because let's remember that this food business is a mutual benefit from customer to owner and owner to customer. Thank you very much and let's support our entrepreneurial community. AT: Satisfied customer“
“Hershey’s ice cream is the real life Willy Wonka. If you can think of a new flavor or a new fun way to have ice cream, Hersheys has already thought of it and done it! My latest favorite flavor of theirs is Lil Blue Panda! Listen when I say that it is magic on the tongue! It releases more serotonin in me than any Therapsit ever could! ? when I want my taste buds to be happy, one scoop will do it! I can’t seem to leave though with just a single scoop. I leave with a quart! Well worth the 45 min drive I take to get some! ? not only is it delightfully tasteful but the bright blue with swirls of white and cookie are just so eye catching! Keep up the great work Hershey’s! You’ve made a friend for life!“
“I have lived here all my life and today was my first Rita's! The weird thing is I love shaved ice, so today had the Root Beer with the Gelato. Parking was easy, pricing was good, cheaper than movie theater. Made a nice midday treat. I really want the lemonade next. See you soon Rita.“
“Me and the kids favorite ice cream place all year long. Staff is nice and courteous, Ice cream is delicious, but there are no tables. There are a few seats but that's it. It would be nice if there were a few tables outside. Parking lot is small.Parking: There are maybe 10 spots available, not a big lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap accessible.“
“love urban churn and the unique ice cream flavors! it’s a little pricey but i’m happy to pay the price for the great quality and for a small business. the harrisburg location is notoriously bad at keeping their hours up to date, though. i’ve been disappointed a few times walking for ice cream after dinner to find out it’s closed with no updates on google or social.“
“Overall, the store is great. I do have two complaints, however: 1. They should bring back the salad bar. Saladworks is nice, but I would prefer to pay $6.99 (or even $7.99) a pound to make my own salad, rather than paying $10.49 for a salad at Saladworks that includes lettuce plus 5 toppings, then if you want to add an extra topping, like sunflower seeds, you get charged for the most expensive topping you've selected (which is usually the protein). Also, I've encountered many issues with Saladworks where they have messed up my order - including one time where they did not include my protein. (I usually do mobile orders so I can run in and pick it up, but now I know to check my order before leaving.) If this Giant were to bring back the salad bar, I think they should do away with the various pre-made salads and deserts on the salad bar. I never saw anyone taking any of that stuff and it drives up the price of the salad bar. If any customers want those things, they can go buy them at the deli counter. 2. "Sushi Wednesday" has been a joke recently. Today when I visited the store, there were literally two packages of sushi marked as "Sushi Special" in the display case. The display case was practically full of other sushi (not on sale), by the way. I really feel like their Sushi Wednesday has been used as a bait & switch lately. You go into the store expecting to buy some sushi that's on sale, but you get there and they don't have anything or at least nothing except a Veggie Roll or a basic California Roll. Then, you have been thinking about sushi on your way there, so you have to buy one of their full price ($12.99+) rolls to satisfy your craving. Of course you don't HAVE to... but it sure feels like the old bait & switch gimmick to me.“
“A very nice place to go for a sweet treat. They’re always quick with orders, friendly at the windows, and they seldom make errors. Personally, I just adore their blizzards (they chop up the chunks juuuust right!), but I'm sure the other items are just as good.“
“We just came back from a park and were looking for ice cream. We found Rita's Italian Ice!!Who doesn't like Rita's Italian Ice?This place is new and in the plaza across from the Comunity Aid,next to an Indian restaurant. The severs are nice, and the service is quick. So, if you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat. Head up to Rita's Italian Ice.“
“The owner Mindy, is such a sweet person. All of her employees are also very kind, sweet, & excellent workers. I'd recommend this Dairy Queen to be the best one in the central Pennsylvania area. Thanks Mindy for your AWESOME Customer Service 🥰♥️🥰“
“Went with a friend on a Thursday night. Personally haven’t been to a Friendly’s in years but I wasn’t expecting anything bad. Food was absolutely phenomenal. I feel bad for forgetting our server’s name but he was super attentive and very kind. The atmosphere was calm and it was very much a nice place to quickly dine in and get some ice cream. Definitely want to come back again soon.“
“I took my son there for ice cream after his dentist appointment yesterday. The man at the window was incredibly nice and let my kiddo chatter away. Of course the ice cream is always delicious. ? Love taking him there at least once a month for a special treat.“
“I love a good retro 50s themed ice cream shop and Hanna's is the best! The decor and vintage pieces of decoration is awesome. I was having a ball just checking everything out. You can't go wrong selling ice cream, but it more than the ice cream, the birch beer floats, banana splits, and malt milk shakes... it the whole atmosphere that takes you back in time! The also sell nostalgic candies and gum! It a very cool place to hang out (pun intended) whether you sit at the counter or in the colourful booths. I highly recommend Hanna's!!“
