“Quick and easy. Only thing was earlier I was a little bit hungry, I went to try to get a pizza. And the kitchen was closed. Seems to be a common thing as of late, places are closing early . Can't seem to find any reliable help to make the stores run smoothly.“

“Visited this morning for the first time. Got egg and cheese sandwiches, one croissant one ciabatta - both were amazing!! The lattes were delicious and rich. You can really taste the quality of the espresso. They were short staffed (1 employee who was grinding hard!) so I did wait about 25 minutes for two coffees and sandwiches. I didn’t mind that much and it was well worth the wait. Can’t wait to go back!“

“Patti's Pasticceria is a family-owned Italian-American bakery. Its menu includes breakfast pastries, cookies, cupcakes, rolls, specialty cakes (e.g., wedding, anniversary, birthday, and graduation), and even non-baked goods such as soups and espresso drinks. Prices are reasonable. For Easter, my family purchased a chocolate cake, a white cake, a strawberry pie, and lady-lock cookies from Patti's. My family members and I thought that these desserts were fresh and tasted good, but we prefer the flavors of desserts from a few other bakeries. I would feel happy to try many of Patti's other desserts, including her cinnamon rolls, pecan rolls, apple strudels, cold-dough apricot cookies, s'mores cookies, cheesecake, carrot cake, sfogliatelle, etcetera. Please note that some desserts must be ordered in advance, and catering is available.“

They did not seem interested in helping you/giving suggestions and just weren’t as friendly as I would expect a local coffee shop to be? I think they are in the process of remodeling so the inside of the shop is mostly blocked off from use except for 2 tables. The first time I was there they had the old bank vault open with the lights on (really cool), but the second time I was there it was all shut off (pretty bummed as I was trying to show someone new the coffee shop).I’ve had a couple different lattes and all were pretty good. Nothing extraordinary. Their sausage egg and cheese breakfast rolls are AMAZING and I would come back just to eat these every day lol“

“This is my absolute FAVORITE coffee shop, I think....ever. Their coffee is such high quality, delicious, & made with so much love. Also, their cold foam never dissolves, so you can enjoy it for hours (unlike most other locations - but drop the names if true). I'm obsessed with their chocolate almond iced coffee, but they also have so many other unique & delicious drinks. It is very clear that the barristers there are passionate and knowledgable about the ingredients they use/drinks & food they make. They also have cashew, sesame, & almond milk. I have even had people stop me & say "where is that coffee from?? it looks fire." IT IS. I also got this cute little art piece from there too!“

“I stopped in last night, there were two young ladies behind the bar that didn't acknowledge my presence. But when I came in there was a young man sweeping the floor because it was almost closing time and he put the broom down and came behind the bar to wait on me. He's the superstar in this story! “We come regularly to paint pottery. The staff is always very kind and accommodating. The coffee and muffins are always good, but we do miss the breakfast sandwiches they used to serve! I recommend making a reservation online if you would like to paint pottery.“

“It was a rainy day. But, hey, what a cool and unique place Biddle's is! It was easy parking, but I'm thinking if it was a brilliant day, parking would be tight. PS. All tables were full. But, we got one, and spent 2 hours talking. A latte lasted a long time, 2 hours, which might say a bunch about the coffee. It wasn't memorable. The water was good. The food looked good, but I wasn't feeling hungry.An eclectic and semi-Bohemian atmosphere...very cool outdoor tent with a cozy seating setup. Cushy old chairs, sofas, interesting lighting.Only truly negative thing, was that the little female Barista, who was backed up...barked at me, because I checked a drink by picking it up to read who's it was. Before I even had a second to set it back, I was scolded. Oh well. ?I'll go back when it's convenient not because I loved it, or it treated me specially.You might like it. It was unique.“

“I have been coming here since they opened about 8 years ago. It instantly became my favorite place. It’s a Lawrenceville staple now. When people ask me what my favorite restaurant is I say “well it’s actually a brunch place, but Geppetto Cafe! Trust me!” Great atmosphere, food, and people. There are few places I’m a regular, and this is one of them. Their iced black coffee is my all-time favorite too. We just had our engagement party here, and they were so flexible and accommodating. It was really special, and many of our guests said “you WOULD have your engagement party at Geppetto”. They loved it. Everyone thought it was super cute and that the crepes were delicious. Highest recommendation for brunch, coffee, or a special occasion!“

While at this price it is not quiet competing with, say, Sey, I would still prefer to see price breakdown on the bag and, well, an airtight seal. SO coffees seem to lean towards medium-light, the bag I got with "cherry coke" as the first promised taste note indeed had caramel first and acidity second in my brews.“

“One of the best shops on Forbes in Squirrel Hill. I also try different tea shops when I am in different cities, but this is my favorite. They have a good selection, but you can get good quality green teas without being over priced. This place allowed me to explore teas and find what I like. They also have a good selection of teas that can help for different tea explorations. Chamomile + Rose + Lavender herbal tea while eating rose and lavender macarons from Gaby et Jules is the best pairing on Forbes Ave.“

“Located in the quieter parts of the buzzing Butler Street, this place is perfect to grab your daily fix of caffeine. It's a woman-run business and the baristas are some of the sweetest people I have come across. I had the lavender latte that was exquisite with the floral lavender notes and not too sweet which was perfect for me. The cafe is airy and bright and there's plenty of seating so you can get some work done while sipping on your coffee.“

You'll likely even get a "move, or we'll tow" sticker if you park there and go across the street (I was just getting a donut from Dunkin). Never made that mistake again. “French themed Cafe has recently opened up on centre ave in Pittsburgh… therefore I must review its authenticity as someone who has spent a summer in France. First and foremost, the amount of pastries options is very refreshing and most definitely a correct interpretation of french cafes. The drinks are also excellent. Highly recommend the lavender honey matcha latte. Pricing is also very generious for the quality. I think what’s missing for me is the seating. It’s an open space and is very busy on the weekends… a little too busy for my ideal work environment. All in all I think this a good date spot and great place to get a pastry when u are craving a little taste of Paris. Might I add the music(although far from Parisian had me sold too) crash into me by Dave Mathew’s is playing as I type this“

A wide selection of traditional teas, some hard to find products in the States, and unique blends make Gryphon's a stand out experience. “FIRST OFF, I DO NOT RECOMMEND MIXTAPE!! When Mixtape closed, it hurt. There really wasn't a place that was chill with all types of Dope people. It was a place to bring friends or just a date night. The music was good late 80's and 90's Hip-Hop. They understood what, by definition, is a Mixtape. Google it and see of Indi-pop pops up... Nope! I've hoped that someone would buy it and bring that vibe back. It was successful. I was excited to see that new owners had announced soft openings last month. There were soft openings that advertised Indie Pop and David Bowie? Not to knock either, but at Mixtape? The new owners found old plans that made Mixtape a dance lounge, so now you can dance there? The reason the original owners didn't go with those plans because it was better as a lounge. They had it right. The new owners, NOT AT ALL! The old Mixtape seems to be gone and like most things in that area, there is a new common theme. Out with the Hip Hop and in with the Indie Pop. Thanks for taking the soul out of Garfield...“

“I stopped by, I’ve been keeping my eye on the place. It’s a cute little shop, they have mochi donuts which I’m excited about. I didn’t get any on my first visit but I did get the pina colada milk tea which was delicious, I was just too sweet for me. Now I know to ask for less sugar. I definitely have to come back.“
