“Our server Maddie was absolutely phenomenal! Bertucci’s is my favorite restaurant but the locations near me all closed. We drove an hour to this location and Maddie made sure to give us the authentic Bertucci’s experience. Best bread rolls and oil there is and the 3 cheese ravioli is to die for. 10/10 recommend!”

“Absolutely incredible. One of the best vegan dining experiences I've ever had. Enjoyed a dinner with three non-vegans who loved the food and expressed an eagerness to return. We had the tasting menu plus shared all of the available add-ons. The restaurant itself is small and cozy with historic charm and great ambiance. If we lived nearby this would be our go-to spot for celebrations and special occasions.”

“TY for accommodating our party of 18 on a Saturday… Your fried calamari was so yummy, the flight of soup was a brilliant idea for someone who’s undecisive to be able to sample 3 different cups, my crab cake was so amazing - I’m drooling just thinking about the jumbo lumps of crab chunks!!! By the way hubby & I noticed the American Psycho decors right away as we’re huge fans of the book & movie. Last but def not least, the service was great even though there were 18 of us with some loud kiddos.”

“10/10 recommend! Their Thai milk tea with black sesame boba is soooo good! I got regular (50%) sweetness and it's awesome! Might go lower next time based on personal preference, but definitely recommend starting at 50% if you aren't sure. The staff is so kind! Great conversation, so kind and helpful. AND they make all their Boba in house?! It's perfectly chewy and not overwhelmingly sweet, I could probably eat a small bowl of it on its own. Love this place, will absolutely be coming back ”

“My husband and I went here over the weekend. We saw a TicTok and video on it and had to go! This place is amazing. The lady there was so nice and pleasant. I got "the problem" pizza. It was SO good. My husband got a burger. Delicious. And the waffle fries!!! Omg. We got a piece of pie to go, and it did not disappoint. We will be back!! “i enjoyed my stop here so, so much! i got a squash and corn empanada—which was very tasty—and an iced coffee with a healthy dose of vanilla syrup.literally every single employee i interacted with here was so nice and welcoming! i would recommend this place based on the service alone.there was a decent amount of indoor seating, but TONS of outdoor seating, which i took advantage of due to the nice weather. it was a really great place to spend some time writing and just enjoying the sunshine.they also had quite a few pastries (and some interesting retail items, i believe), and i look forward to trying some of them out the next time i stop by!”

“It's been a minute since we've been here. It has changed a lot. For the better. Seated promotly, they do try to push the bar tab. It's kinda expected and up to the customer to say yes or no. I had one. It was delicious! I ordered the veal tenders. I ordered without mushrooms and there was no oroblem. OMG! So nice and tasty. I brought some home for next days lunch. He had the veal chop. He enjoyed it. Lots if food but we wanted some salad. One salad and two plates. Who knew? It worked out great. The service was excellent. This used to be a quiet place to have dinner. They've added tables and it's much more lively. Everyone seemed happy and upbeat. We will be back. Yummy!”

“A great place. Been open many years. Recently on TV for their Anniversary. Sometimes crowded but they are quick and move fast. You can get breakfast sandwiches all day which is a plus. Coffee very good, another plus. Only takes cash, no big deal to me. Grew up in South Philly and local neighborhood places the same. Got scrapple, egg & cheese, bacon, egg & cheese, peppers , egg & cheese. All outstanding. Owner Bruce and his wife working up front, working, greeting and monitoring everything.”

“I've been wanting to try Tanglewood for months. We finally had time to go today and we loved it! The owner was kind and patient while we pursued the menu and asked questions. My partner and I finally decided on sharing a Combo (¼ pulled pork & ¼ brisket, 1 small side-we chose coleslaw, and cornbread), an appetizer of their Asian Sticky Ribs, and a side of their homemade chips.The stars of the meal were definitely the Asian Sticky Ribs. Their cruchy edges and tender meat glazed with that Hosin BBQ sauce will definitely bring us back definitely. 100% get these.Coming in a close 2nd was the brisket. It was so moist and tender. The meat alone was amazing, and we dipped it into the Blue Q (Blueberry Bourbon BBQ sauce), and it went a level beyond.3rd would be the pulled pork. Sometimes, the texture of pulled pork feels like the pork is disintegrating - that was NOT the case here. We were treated to bunches of well smoked pork that was complimented by their Gold n Gritty mustard sauce.The next would be the remulade and other toppings on top of the corn. The flavor there was sooo good. I know we're out of corn season, but I hope fresh corn is used in season because that sauce deserves a nice crisp corn to eat with it. We ate the rest of the sauce with the chips... speaking of...The chips were AMAZING! The perfect crunch, the seasoning was spot on and addictive!The *very* few misses:This may be just a personal preference: the cornbread was soooo good; sweet, with a cake like crumb, but I really needed it to be warmed or at least room temperature. I took it home and heated it up in a pan with some butter, and it was perfection.The slaw and pickles both had good flavor. However, the texture was a Miss. The cabbage in the slaw and the cucumber from the pickle were both soft and had no crunch left them. As these were all sides, I didn't feel like they should affect the 5 stars this place clearly deserves.We can't wait to come back and try the Chipotle Mac & Cheese hot dog and the loaded potato salad!The value was excellent too; great food for an appropriate price.”

“Super cute and chic coffee shop! The coffee is great quality and they have many options. They also serve pastries, food items and different types of art. The owners were onsite, super hospitable, and attentive. The decor made you feel at home and they proudly display artwork from various artists on the walls. It’s really nice inside. I connected to the WiFi and got some work done as I enjoyed my latte and sandwich. The space is small but there isn’t a shortage of seating and there is still enough personal space to feel comfortable. I will definitely return.”

Nestled behind a home in Swarthmore this adorable little pastry shop fills the whole neighborhood with the smell of croissants, muffins, cupcakes and more. The owner greets all customers with a giant smile. You can eat in the magical garden or take it to go! We got cupcakes and a chocolate brownie that was to die for! “Picked this as a random meetup place for a friend driving through. It was Ah-maze-ing! I wasn't a huge fan of the "wings" .. but they were good. the texture wasn't expected but the flavor was perfect. I had the philly philly mushroom cheese steak. BAYBEE!! I think that may be my new go to for a cheesesteak. I kid you not. It was awesome. My friend loved the wings and had the crabcake. For dessert... we actually ordered the pineapple upside-down pancake. With icecream. Not sure what voodoo they do but this is bot your average vegan place.”
