“Went to this new bakery in Nazareth, PA today. The bagels were soft and delicious, baklava great…..the rice pudding is insanely good! I would definitely recommend! The owner was so welcoming & friendly. So happy to tell us about each product…..love, love loved this bakery. I will definitely be going back. Support small family owned businesses…….you won’t be disappointed!“
“We have used Sonia’s 3 times now. Once for our oldest daughter’s first birthday smash cake photoshoot, the second time for her first birthday party, and now for our wedding. They are so accommodating and do beautiful, delicious work. Thank you Carl, Sonia and team!“
“This is a takeout place only. I ordered a Carbonara Special and it was excellent! They use real Pancetta, not bacon/ham that a lot of other places use. I added shrimp and chicken and both were very good. I will definitely be returning to see Stephanie and Flavio! Also they make their own bread and mozzarella cheese.....yum!Vegetarian options: Pasta, salads and pizza.“
“Never been til this Friday before Easter and what a delightful interior full of holiday treats and seasonal decorations. It's not very spacious yet every inch has the flair if an ibtetuir decorated style, it's just all good related and dobecdo tastefully. There is a small center with tables and chairs for a bite and ciffee. The side wall coolers hold take and go foods for convenience. I purchased a peanut butter egg that was a tad disappointing because the PB filling was not as creamy as I like and only a slight PB taste. ($12).The best cream puff ever. The Bavarian custard was over the top flowing out of the shell with great flavors. ($8)The mini lemon cheesecake ~6" made a statement as well. So lemony and fresh. ($8)We'll definitely return for other specialty desserts and try the lunch offerings.“
“First time going there due to a Facebook post with pictures. Staff was friendly and immediately greeted me when I walked through the door. Unfortunately they were already out of the chocolate cake which is what I wanted. I got my fiancé the cheesecake and decided to get myself a slice too. I am so grateful I did because I only went to take one bite, but it was so smooth, rich, and creamy that I found myself finishing the whole slice! I was truly amazed. Will definitely be back. As for price, it was on par to about what you’d pay for a slice of cake at a diner, except this is ten times better and so much more worth it.“
“Had to stop for the chicken pot pie and apple pie after a hike to nearby⁰ Council Rock. Glad we did! Starting with pitcher plants, venus fly traps, and pumpkins outside to a store full local food items like jams, apple cider, and homemade pastries. This place is an eyefull! We enjoyed the chicken pot pie filled w chunks of chicken, veggies, and tasty crust. The apple cider was smooth and not too sweet. Their jams are very good with clever names, like TOE jam or BEAR jam.“
“Truly wonderfully delicious kiffles! My mom is too old to bake them herself anymore, but Kiffle Kitchen saved Christmas at our house! We will be in Florida next year, but I'll be sure to have some shipped there too. Thank you KK for turning out a wonderful product that so many of us grew up with. They sell out very fast though...“
“I was sent 4 different flavors of kiffles for Christmas, I never had any from here before, it was a big surprise! All the flavors were awesome! Perfectly baked and extremely fresh. Flakey, buttery crust and nice ratio of filling to crust, and dusted with the right amount of powdered sugar. I'll definitely be ordering more kiffles from here.“
“This is hands down one of my favorite places of all time. While my heritage is PA Dutch I was fortunate enough to be raised by a Slovak Stepdad who introduced me to good tasting food including strudel. I've been a regular customer since they've opened and have never been disappointed in anything I've tried. Also my 88 year old Stepdad said it's the best strudel he's had since his Grandmother's which says a lot. Most importantly, you will not find better people than Kelly and Tom. To them you are not a customer, you are a friend. Whenever I go to the shop or see them at a Farmer's Market I feel like Norm from Cheers. If you haven't been there yet you don't know what you are missing!“
“Love the Stroudsburg location anytime opening to 3 pm. The food is great when served up by RUSS, the chief cook and man behind the fresh meal presentation. We stopped by today around 5 pm and we noticed the vast difference in food. Our baked potato was browned from yesterday's batch reheated and carbed(dense) through. The asparagus arrived steamed in this reddish sauce, was it pulled from another plate? And Julie added a bunch of prices that were not related to our 55 menu. Thanks to Steve for editing the numbers for a better total.Although a few hiccups, this franchise serves decent foid for reasonable prices.BTW: slice of pie & a drink/$5.49. Can't beat it. ??“
“Being from Michigan, we've got certain foods that we've had or have ate in our lifetime that are just a 'thing' for us. My girlfriend is from Louisiana, and i feel like they pretty much eat anything. So when I told her about a Pastie -- and how we ate it any time we went hunting in the UP in MI, and she gave me this crazed look.... I knew at some point i was going to have to get her to try one. Let's get up to current day --- i was looking for a place where we could go eat dinner and came across Mr. Pastie on Yelp. Amazed and shocked -- i checked out the pictures and knew that i had to get some of them to try. I came in during the morning -- and WOW the selection was huge. Never had i saw some one do a philly style, mexican, or cordon bleu pastie. My mind was blown. I purchased SEVERAL. Some that I was eager to try, some more basic ones i could give to my girlfriend and my roommate (who was from Mississippi). It was a hit. It was great to be able to share some well crafted pasties with my friends and family and share some of my "home-style" food with them. Onto the store --- it's very small, but everyone in side was extremely friendly. Especially when they found out that I was from Michigan. They even wanted some tips and feedback from me on how they tasted. So --- here is my feedback. Delicious. Tips? Go try one. You can eat it plain, top it with ketchup, hot sauce, or gravy (chicken/beef/turkey), or come up with your own thing. Hidden treasure, 100%.“
