Been here twice , been AMAZING both times! Fair prices, big portions, delicious food. I just happened to be walking by the first time, and it was so I had to come back. I got the Jerk Chicken, rice and beans, and sweet yams. A top takeout spot for sure.
I haven't had Jamaican food in a while. Not because I didn't want any but it was hard to find good food. Well I stopped by Irie today for lunch and I have found a solid spot! I ordered jerk chicken, rice and peas and plantains. Let's talk about the jerk chicken. Outside of getting jerk chicken in JA it's hard to find jerk that comes close. Friendly owner and very yummy food. I went with a couple of my friends, we all got different things and everyone loved their food. My friend was born in Jamaica and it got her stamp of approval. It doesn't really have an ambiance, the tables are close together and it looks kind of dull in there so if you're looking to have a nicer sit down meal I wouldn't really recommend. Its pretty casual, but hey were here for the food and it was delicious. Prices were fair too.
